Taqueria El Zarape is my favorite part of going to visit my family. I make them stop here at least once while I’m visiting. It’s usually my first stop when I arrive. Service is always fast and the prices are pretty decent. I was able to feed 4 adults for less than $ 30! Another big plus, they have horchata on tap! And it’s delicious! If you’re a newbie, get the corn combo. It comes with four tacos with your choice of meat. I like to get 2 bistek and 2 trompo. All combos come with a baked potato and charro beans. That might sound weird but it’s a damn good baked potato. I don’t know they get it so soft and whipped inside. Next time I’m in the RGV, you can definitely find me here!

The delicious taste of authentic street vendor style taquitos without having to cross the border. The beans are awesome! All you guys on a diet, save this for your «cheat» day.
