My review is based on the people, the location, and the Pokemon lessons. So first, a friend of mine knows how much my eight year loves Pokemon, and told me she saw a sign that said Pokemon lessons on Saturday. I called the store and spoke to someone, then he let me speak to the manager. She answered all my questions regarding the Pokemon lesson, and told her we would be there. After I got off the phone with her, I read some Unilocal reviews, that had me a little nervous. I was concerned about us being welcomed, I was sure, and was right that we would be the only«Chocolate» family there. But we were warmly welcomed from the time we arrived. First the Pokemon trainer, Kimberly was awesome. She took the time to explain what was going on to me and was impressed at how much my son already knew. She helped him build a fighting deck, but overall she help provide a environment where kids can plan, trade, and just have fun with Pokemon. So overall: The Good: Close by, friendly, knowledgeable The Bad: It is bare bones, not a luxurious place, just there to do what it should do, let gamers play. Overall, if you have kids who love pokemon, this is the place for them.

I was a bit disappointed when I visited The Hobbit Hole. It’s a nice place, easy to get to, and it has plenty of parking, but they didn’t have the current comic title I was looking for or any back issues of it. Even more disappointing, when I asked if they had any, the person behind the desk wasn’t familiar with the title and had to look it up somewhere. I guess that’s one saving grace, though — they apparently have an inventory system. Overall, I guess the place is OK but going there is not really a fulfilling experience.

Pretty awesome place for nerds to hang out and play tabletop games and have an all around good time.

I got a bad feeling when I saw their sign in front of their business that said Blue Lives Matter but I went in anyway. I had my apprehensions going into a shop in this part of the deep South and I was right to feel this way. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome here in this shop. I will not be back. I will take my business elsewhere.
