Visited with sister to eat something to push the edge. Customer service was nice. See through window to watch the worker prepare the meal. Got California Rolls to go. Rolls were ok. Need a little cleaning inside, but will try again.

This is a great place for Hibachi. I’ve been here twice now and the steak is amazing and the shrimp is cooked quite nicely. If you like yum yum sauce you may have to ask for extra though as I was only given two when I ate in and one when I did take out. So! All in all, the only thing that sucks is waiting for it to be cooked. This is gonna be a once a week place for me.

Not sure about all the amazing reviews… tried one of the sushi rolls which was very bland, and the teriyaki chicken, which was downright horrible. As a graphic designer, we joke that you can get projects done quickly, cheaply, or done well. If you’re lucky maybe two of the three, but you can certainly not get all. I’m starting to think this also applies to food. Ichiban Express is quick and cheap, but it is certainly not quality. The low quality all dark meat chicken dishes are a testament to that.

Not the best in the world, but one of the only three places in Henry county Georgia to get sushi. I love a lot of their rolls. Volcano and Philly namely. Although some are hit and miss. Wakame is always fresh.

In summary, «fast food express». Not as good as the sit down hibachi but better than the run of the mill Chinese. The chicken curry was ok and a little Spicer than expected. Not even close to the average Thai curry. The hibachi chicken was not to bad and probably my favorite dish we had. The sushi is like what you would expect to get off a Chinese buffet. Go here if you want cheap Japanese that is better than most chinese.

Solid cheap sushi rolls. The spicy tuna and salmon were good, great if you are looking for budget food that isn’t battered and deep fried. I wasn’t a fan of the dynamite roll, it was not as fresh-tasting as the other rolls. We did carryout and they had it ready within a desired time of 15 minutes. Overall, I’d recommend keeping it simple if you are looking to try sushi here.

First thing I noticed when I walked in was that it was pretty packed! It was lunch time but I came in to get sushi for lunch and grab my mom and I some chicken hibachi for dinner later. Because of reviews on Unilocal, this is what prompted me to make my way here. There’s a huge window so you can see the hibachi action going if you want to watch while you wait which was pretty cool. I ordered the Monster Roll, Dynamite Roll and two chicken hibachi meals with fried rice. The sushi was okay! Best I’ve had? No. Best in the McDonough area that I’ve tried so far? Yes! I still have a few more places to check out but so far this is the best! Very tasty and I enjoyed both rolls! Now to the hibachi… the chicken was flavorless, I wish they seasoned it. The fried rice also had no flavor. I had to drown both in the Yum Yum Sauce(which was delish!) to give flavor. Maybe I’m so used to Benihana and I’m spoiled by it but sometimes you just don’t want to make that drive ALLLLL the way to Atlanta, or spend the money so you try to find a cost efficient option closer to home. Maybe you just get what you paid for LOL. I’ll come back for the sushi but I’ll stick to Benihana for my hibachi!

Excellent food at reasonable prices. It’s an order at the counter place but you can see the hibachi grill behind a glass wall. The food score is 100. We ordered 3 hibachi meals, chicken fried rice and 4 drinks and it was $ 35, which I think is quite reasonable for hibachi. The food came out fast but is served in takeout containers regardless of whether you eat in, which comes in handy since the portions are large. The only negative comment I have is that there isn’t a kids menu. This was our first time here and will definitely return.

My sister and I were out shopping on Christmas eve(early afternoon, around 2 maybe 3)…this place was just across the street from where we were and we’re moving to the area soon, so we’re always looking for new places to eat that’ll be nearby… The food was great. I had the steak hibachi and it was cooked to perfection. My only complaints are that there was no low sodium soy sauce and the sweet tea was a little on the weak side… neither of which will deter me from returning.

Best sushi place on the South side as this area is lacking quality sushi and other Japanese cuisine. If I need a sushi fix, this is definitely my go to spot!

Simply delicious. I discovered this restaurant about a week ago and I have been here three times so far. The food is tasty and fresh and the customer service is on point. I highly recommend this restaurant and just a little advice«Get Extra Sauce» it is the best yum yum sauce I have ever had.

We have eaten at this establishment on numerous occasions. The food is wonderful, and the staff is always accommodating to our food alergy. Portions are generous and you can find coupons in the local mailers. I give I them two thumbs up.

I was recommended to go to eat here by a workplace friend. Apparently the hibachi is decent and cheap, but I ordered the sushi, a salad, and a miso soup. Nothing was satisfying about this meal. The salad was a rushed bowl of iceberg lettuce and bad ginger dressing. The soup was too mustard-y and the sushi was just bad. Bad. Bad. Buying sushi from Publix is 100% better. There are plenty of better places around McDonough. I don’t recommend this place.

I went here for the first time today and it was really good. I got a volcano roll and a California roll. Both of them were very tasty and reasonably priced. It’s definitely the best sushi in McDonough. The staff was friendly and I got my food quickly. 4⁄5 stars.

If you’re looking for the sushi experience without having to dredge your wallet across the ocean floor… look no further! This place rocks! Don’t expect to feel as if you’re on south beach or near a marina as its a small storefront setting with seating for about 25. A small but interesting array of sushi which includes some with tuna, crabmeat, cheese and even mayo… yeah mayo. Feeding 2 will average less than $ 30 and you won’t end up with the typical msg bloat afterwards which is always a good thing.

This is a great little resturant. What they lack in aumbeanc they make up for with great food products. Although I only had sushi and salad the quality and freshness were good.

Good fast hibachi. The chicken is very flavorful. The rice is great. They also have sushi. I have tried two. The rock and roll is good. The vegetables in the hibachi plate is fresh and tasty. I have taken several family members here. So far everyone likes it a lot. My toddler grandson likes the rice and chicken also. Pretty good for a picky toddler to like the food. The sauces are good.
