What a surprise! Have driven by for years — stopped today and enjoyed a fantastic lunch. Sandwiches and salads were all thumbs up winners with our group. This will become a regular stop for me when going over the pass.

Thank heavens they were there with their smiles and hot soups and sandwiches and coffee. The hot pastrami sandwich was excellent. It was just what we needed on those rainy days. There was an assortment of antiques and art and trinkets that added interest to the indoor dining area. We were staying about 7 miles away at Belknap Hot Springs, which did not any food service available.

I have been here on two separate occasions. The first time the food was mediocre, overpriced and took forever. The second time the food was mediocre, overpriced and took forever. The coffee was, well, it was adequate. Also Fox News blaring in the background did not really help the ambiance.

Food and Coffee’s with a hometown touch. Amazing sandwiches, fabulous coffee, and a great eclectic mix of gifts in the giftshop. Worth the stop!

The staff at this place are very friendly and helpful much like visiting a relative who is really happy to see you. The coffee shop and sandwich selection for lunch was an excellent choice. Menu included a number of very healthy items, the veggie sandwich was especially good. The staff didn’t mind talking to me about what was in the food and it was very much appreciated. There certainly are a lot of things to look at in the dining area. The seating inside is in an antique and collectables gallery of sorts. It felt like being in that aunt or uncle’s house for a luncheon. Outside seating was available too. Minor suggestion to the owners: it was a but confusing to find the front door with the outdoor displays, but i’m glad i found my way in. Excellent little café to stop by.

This an update a year later. Awesome breakfast. Scrambled eggs, ham. Cooked perfectly, Fruit and some great wheat toast. Outstanding latte. Baked goods are too good… Godpd sandwiches. Inside and outside seating. Wifi. Décor is that of a curio shop but very nice

Breakfast was fine. Young guy making the drinks and food needs to attend some classes on customer service. His more than likely mom/grandma listened to my view but sure didn’t appologize for his inappropriate comment. A simple appology would have gone a long way. We will not be stopping or staying at their cabins again

As we consider a move up-river, we’ve been spending more time perusing the small communities of McKenzie Bridge and Blue River. Much to our delight, a new-to-us coffee shop is now open serving lattes, sandwiches, and other deli snacks most days from 8:30 to 2:30, or so. The two ladies(proprietors?) who helped us are gracious hosts, and pull a mean cup of espresso. While we waited on our sandwich order, we perused the large gift shop that included everything from country-themed relics my mom would love, to wonderful photographs of old McKenzie River land and early rock stars. The outdoor seating is wonderful on a sunny day, even with the highway noise. Make sure to put the Station on your list of good snack joints up the river.
