Happy Tubs Bathtub Refinishing

Arnold and his team arrived right on time during our agreed upon 1-​hour window! They did a great job and explained everything to me along the way. They left the house clean and stuck to their e-​mail estimated price.
IF you are refinishing your tub, just realize that your house will smell for a while (regardless of vendor). We use some of our own fans to assist with the ventilation.
We have been using our shower/​tub for a weeks without issue. Won’t hesitate to contact Happy Tubs again if i need repairs or decide to renovate another bathroom.

I had a lot of trouble finding a reputable company to perform a tub restoration. Many of the local companies offering this service have multiple rip off reports and better business bureau complaints. And then I found happy tubs.
I called happy tubs on a Saturday and left a message with my situation: my tub was peeling from a previous resurfacing. Arnold called me back within a few hours and we had a 20 minute conversation. He explained the entire process to me, gave me specific pricing for the services I needed (stripping at 150 and resurfacing at 400), and set an appointment.
Arnold arrived a few minutes early for our 8 am appointment. As soon as he stepped in the house, he asked if he should take off his shoes, which I thought was very respectful. I told him that was not necessary and showed him to the bathroom. He then got to work right away.
Once he was done with the stripping and cleaning, he invited me to have a look and pointed out that there was nothing wrong with the tub, as in there was no reason the previous owner should have resurfaced it. There were no cracks, stains, or other blemishes.
He said that he would be happy to resurface it if I wanted, but it was not necessary. He instead recommended that I «restore» it. I asked what the difference was and he explained that a restoration doesn’t cover the original porcelain with a white coating (as a resurfacing does). He explained that this was a better option because the coating would eventually peel no matter how well it was done, whereas the original porcelain never would. He told me that a restoration is normally $ 100 more (which I confirmed on his website), but he said he would honor the original quote anyway.
I agreed and he went back to work. A few hours later he called me in to look at the finished job. It looked like a brand new tub. I couldn’t believe it. He then said he could come back later that day to caulk it because it had to dry first. I said I could do the caulking myself. To my pleasant surprise, he then gave me a new tube of caulk to do the job with. Class act!
That’s a long winded way of saying that I am extremely satisfied with Arnold from Happy Tubs and I whole-​heartedly recommend him. He is an honest, competent, and courteous businessman. Your tub will be in good hands.

Have an elderly parent that recently had a fall in the bathroom. Rather than replace the entire tub researched nonslip showers and found happy tubs. Sent request through email and found Arnold. Setting up appointment was easy and he showed up on time. Job was done in a few hours and looks great. Highly recommend happy tubs!!!

I had a minor problem with a coating delamination. Called around to a couple of businesses. One was way too expensive, the other never returned the call. Called Arnold Mezini, the owner. After exchanging e mails with pictures, I made an appointment. Arnold and his assistant arrived right on time, did the work, left everything clean. The tub looks good as new. All for a realistic price!

Long story but basically ended up with a big crack in the bottom edge of my tub.
Was pretty sad about it as it’s a brand new condo and I simply can’t function without my daily shower. Called around and decided to go with Happy Tubs because of their pricing and the friendly tone on the phone. Guy from Happy Tubs shows up in the morning and barely an hour and a half later my tubs looks as good as new.
I actually asked them if they just replaced the tub because I couldn’t believe it lol. At $ 199 it was a steal. And the best part? They take credit cards! Thanks guys, and while you do a great job I hope I won’t need to see ya’ll for a while. God bless!
