Start your review… I like this place. No pressure. All staff have said ello’ to me while browsing. hard to navigate website at times. Sale price online was not the same as the in store price(just saying). My only gripe has been expressed. $ 60 difference may sway me towards investigating more intensely on line next time. This is an update to the above review. Received a text asking me to contact them about my issue. Problem solved after one day. Awesome feeling knowing that they really don’t want customers to be unsatisfied. I really appreciate that. Gave me the option of cash back or store credit. I took the credit cause I already spent the money. I am glad to say the quick response made that decision easier. I will return. Thanks to Garret, and thanks to Chris.

I’m posting for my husband, if he could give them zero stars he would. Here is his review of RRG, «The level of customer service was just awful. Went in the store wanting to support a local Texas company. When I entered the store I was approached by Chris. After we talked I told him exactly what I wanted and what special parts I wanted and what parts I wanted coated from the guys next door. Got everything ordered and paid up front. Was told maybe 2 weeks. I said no problem. After that is when it goes down hill. They had all the parts I wanted in stock except the grip. The upper, lower, and quad rail getting coated were all in stock there when I paid. I call Thursday of the 2nd week to see if it would be ready by the weekend so I could make the long trip up there to pick it up. I was told it’s at the paint shop and would be a few more days.(Thinking to myself, really just now at the paint shop.) You have had the parts sitting there for 2 weeks. Another week goes by and I make another call on the following Thursday. Now I get the excuse that the painter went out of town and will not be back till next week. Was I ever called when they found this out … Nope … so when it was getting painted last week was just a lie since its still has not been done by the 3 week. Now on to week 4. I call again on a Thursday again since i still have never gotten a call at all to see what the status of my gun was. I was told the parts were on the work bench right then and would be ready for pick up that evening if I wanted. I said I’ll try and make it up there Saturday. The lady on the phone assured me no problem but if I wanted I could come today and pick it up. Friday I decide after work just to make the drive up there and pick the gun up. Walk in the store and there is Chris standing there doing nothing. I say I’m here to pick my gun up and he doesn’t realize who I am. Then he tells me there was a mix up with the lowers and mine was not ready.(Are you serious? I was told I could have come yesterday and picked it up if I wanted and now your telling me it’s not ready). He says he had to swap lowers and the parts kit. There was a mix up and the wrong lower was put on my gun. And that I could come back tomorrow and it would be done. Uh No! You’re going to fix it now. I’m not driving up here again. If you knew there was a mix up why was it not fixed right then? When I came in you were just standing there doing noting when you should have been fixing your mistakes. I get my paper work done and I tell Chris how very upset I was with him and this whole ordeal. Not one phone call this entire month to let me know what was going on I had to keep calling. Bad news is better than being left in the dark. Being left in the dark tells me you don’t care about your customers. Constant mistakes, lies and no communication and disrespect. 20 min down the road now in bumper to bumper traffic I get a call from Chris wanting to say he was sorry and offer me a $ 100 credit. I was still steaming mad and now stuck in traffic, not wanting to talk on the phone. I told him I didn’t want to talk to him right now. He asked what he could do, I said you know what, have your boss call me tomorrow. Not today tomorrow, as I don’t want to talk while in this bad traffic. 2 min later guess who is calling me, the manager. I told him I said don’t call me I didn’t want to talk right now, I said to Chris for you to call me tomorrow. I said call me anytime tomorrow I’m free all day. Do I get a call today?! Nope. I don’t like writing these but something needs to be said and others need to the warned so they don’t go thru the mess i did. Customer service 101RRG. You failed. I will not be back and will tell everyone I know not to do business with you.»

The unprofessionalism and TERRIBLE customer service leaves me no choice but to write yet another review for this horrid excuse of a weapon dealer. I sent my Troy rail(which was a complete upper assembled by RRG which should be held under their«lifetime warranty») to Troy Industries in MA for inspection after I sent them pictures of my broken rail. Mr. Troy himself sent me an email stating that my rail was crushed by the sender and«Garrett» literally did not believe me. Troy is a much more credible source and can inspect his own rails. Now instead of helping the customer; «Garrett» continues to try to dis prove my claims from Troy and deter me from getting what I SHOULD be entitled to. The lack of unprofessionalism is utterly disgusting because he ended our conversation by hanging up. Not to mention the attitude his assistant Courtney gives their customers. «Garrett» said I shouldn’t be bashing the business online but my voice needs to be heard. This company is absolutely trash. I wouldn’t have a bad review if they actually adhered to their customers. Thanks for hanging up on me Garrett I hope you’re reading this right now ;-)

The old guy is the one to talk to. He is a wealth of knowledge and enjoys sharing it. I didn’t know the first thing about AR’s when i went there and they took the time to make me feel comfortable enough to build one with my son. The new shop is great! I drive 40 minutes each way and pass other gun shops because its worth my time to come here.

Excellent selection of ARs and everything to build them. Haven’t made a purchase here yet but I plan to. They have the lowest price for complete rifle kits that I could find, to include online. Friendly staff! Glad to see that there is another shop in McKinney to go to besides Price Gouge City across the highway.

Excellent products at a fantastic price. If you are looking for an AR in the DFW area head over here. It’s a little difficult to find but it is right off of 380 and 75 next to the walmart. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and open to whatever questions you may have. I mean where else are you gonna get a lower with a Texas flag.
