Ok, so this isn’t a 5 star, cloth napkin, top service kind of sushi restaurant… This is, however, the best $ 8 sushi I think I’ve ever had. And the staff is really friendly too! The sushi is made right in front of you and they have always offered to make any changes I might want to make it even better. I even described a sushi bowl I used to get in Orlando and I asked if they could make it and he said sure! They just opened a new location but both are the same distance from my home so I come here. I know the service and food are always great!

Décor: New, clean & spacious. You can dine there or get to go. Taste: Salmon sashimi is fresh. Sushi combo 1 is a good deal! Yellowtail pieces were a good size. Spicy tuna tasted good but too finely chopped. Would be better to taste the tuna chunks. Princess roll was filling for no carbs! It was very refreshing with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, crab, & avocado wrapped w/cucumber. Salmon roll was delicious & affordable. Service: Friendly & catered to my requests. Bonus: They have stamp cards! I’ll be returning for sure when I need fast food to go.

Food is okay. Not as much variety as some other places. Also asked for some extra sauce and they seemed to not want to give any saying everything was in the bag. It wasn’t though, which is why it’s called«extra». Update: Went back a few months later… what I got was actually very tasty. Got a regular Philadelphia roll and the special Lion King roll. Both tasted fresh and delicious. The service was quick and friendly. Extra star added.

Sushi to go is a new concept for me. I think if you’re going to be a fast-food sushi joint, you should have fast-food prices. Too expensive to be served with plastic garnish. I pay the same amount at a sit-down sushi restaurant for twice the quality and amount. Not horrible but not amazing either. If you’re in a hurry or just want to take it home, go for it. Otherwise go to a dine-in sushi and have a leisurely visit with a friend over quality.

I live near this little sushi restaurant and my kids and I absolutely love it. Super convenient, inexpensive, clean, friendly environment, & overall good. I love the idea of ordering fresh sushi and taking home to the kids.

Family’s first time at this restaurant, the very first Sushi Go in Dallas. Dad had the Crybaby(3 hot peppers rated); Mom had Lion King & Shrimp Lover rolls. All are from their ‘Special Roll’ menu. Son #1, niece #1, & niece #2: each ordered the new Bulgogi bowl. Son #2 had Sushigo from the ‘Special Roll’ menu. All looked fresh and tasted VERYVERY delicious. An unassuming store front, clean, friendly staff. We can’t wait for next Wednesday’s opening of the newest Sushi Go in Allen. We are adding our 5-star rating to the other Unilocal reviews!

I am rating this a 5 because it is a good combination of quality and affordability. If you are willing to spend $ 50 on sushi you can probably get better, but this is decent sushi at a much lower price. We ordered 4 specialty rolls on a Saturday afternoon and all of them were very fresh, well constructed and tasty. Those four rolls and two drinks were $ 30 and the portions were large. They were all good and I would reorder any one of them. The other rolls I saw that afternoon looked just as good. This is a good neighborhood sushi place and I’m glad we gave it a try. Will do so again

Great local quick sushi. The spicy specialties are great, and so are the sushi bowls. Best sushi for the price. I’m glad I love nearby.

Good for the price! I usually get the crab lover and the lion King. I always ask for extra sauce otherwise I feel like the rice takes over the roll. But overall, really good rolls and great service! I’ve been in about a dozen times and I will continue to get sushi here.

This is my new go to spot when I want sushi fast. I found them by mistake. I was going to the shopping center to go to another restaurant when I spotted Sushi Go. I decided to take a chance and try it out. I got the spicy tuna and california rolls. You can’t really go wrong with those. It was fantastic. I have been about 5 times now and have not ventured beyond those two rolls, but next chance I get to go there, I will be trying some of their specialty rolls. They are inexpensive but don’t taste cheap or artificial. Nice place to go when you want sushi in a hurry. The one draw back is they close at 9 pm everyday. It would be nice if they were open at least until 10. Yes an hour makes a difference for me.

This place is near my house and for 7.95 a specialty roll I decided to check it out We ordered the hot mama, the superman, the crab lover, the dragon and the Ida. All were good. The fish tasted good and the rolls were really pretty. My only thing that annoyed me was they were not completely cut. It was hard to eat because they were so stuck together we couldn’t separate them. It seems like a small thing but it was super annoying when you’re hungry.

Disappointed. Photos on their website is misleading. The rolls look nothing like the pictures. Friendly service, but the rolls were not good. Small pieces of fish and bland tasting. I would go elsewhere.

The last visit over here i had few of their specialty rolls. I had few for dine in the other day and fell in love with the price texture and the taste so i ordered more for home. Today i placed an order over the phone because i was at walmart then it took me maybe 10 minutes to get to sushigo and it was already packed and ready for me. Cant wait to try it. Its only $ 12 for a spicy tuna roll, 2 pcs of nigiris, and 3 pcs of sashimi. The meats they offer for sashimi and nigiri are: Tuna, salmon(what i got for my sashimi), smoked salmon, snapper, eel(what i got for my nigiris), scallop, white tuna, masago(smelt egg), ebi(shrimp), crab, and last but not least yellowtail. From those I’ve tried everything from other sushi restaurants except the masago. I am so excited to try this when i get home! And all their specialty rolls are only $ 7.95!!!

Good: + Quick service, easy in/out + Friendly guy took my order + Price point is inexpensive + Salmon nigiri was odorless and had a good texture Bad: + The cuts are a little off — fish included chewy skin — not like a pro knifed it up + Signs of old fish via darkened edges of the sushi and odor on the tuna + Signs of pre-made rolls via chewy nori(possibly from letting the nori sit within the moisture clad rice for too long?) + Too much rice in the rolls Specifics: + Salmon nigiri: would order again — this was odorless and had good texture + Hot Mama: would not order again — don’t think it had all the types of fish atop, but I didn’t want to try them anyway after beholding the tuna which was poorly cut and had odor + Lion King: wouldn’t order again — too much crab mix atop and the salmon was cut like the tuna… it also had darkened edges and skin. Bottom line was I didn’t enjoy trying the rolls(I was nervous). I’m aware of the price point and my expectations typically align accordingly… I really try not to be unreasonable given a price point. They’ve only been open 3 weeks, so maybe they are still trying to figure it out. I don’t know… the raw fish scared me. Give it a conscious whirl.

well YUM! I love me some sushi. have tried it EVERYWHERE! I was super leery of a to go sushi spot in the Walmart shopping center! But, my son and I just tried it. The owner was super nice! We ordered at the counter and ate inside. We got 3 rolls. Cry Baby2, Crunch and Alaska. All were fresh and delicious! The Cry Baby2 was my fave. The special rolls? They are $ 7.95!!! Are you kidding me? What a great treat. The restaurant was very casual, clean and organized. Service was fast and friendly. All of the rolls on the menu looked fabulous. The salmon and avocado on our rolls were both super fresh — always a good indicator to me. We’ll stick to Blue Fish or Simon’s Sushi when hubby and I are going out for date night — but for an evening at home? Sushi Go is the bomb! Annnnnd, they will even bring it to my house? trying delivery next time! Probably tomorrow… Can’t wait!

Stopped in after a brutal Walmart trip and got dinner. First time in, owner was there and was very pleasant. Explained the pricing thoroughly. We ordered, waited about 15 minutes, got our food and started to drive away. He ran out our ginger and wasabi that we’d left on the counter. They don’t hoard it, lm sure it was a complete oversight for the customer who didn’t get it either time. At home enjoying it now, will be back for sure!
