Gas was $ 0.12 cheaper than the Racetrac and QT right down the street. Kind of a PITA to get in and out of this location if going west, but oh well.

I was moving and stopped in to buy a roll of packing tape. They didn’t have some to sell, but he gave me a roll that was for the store’s use. That was so kind of him. Now, I buy all my gas here to repay the kindness. Awesome group of people work here.

Because we live right by #380 and we are carting my daughter to Denton to visit her friend or picking her up, we stop in this store quite frequently.
First of all, the corner is extremely busy. It does have a Subway franchise and if you just getting gas and using your credit card, there is no big deal. Get in and get out.
When you get in the store, I had a bad experience. This type of experience has been typical, particularly later in the afternoon. This last go around, I thought I had to make comment to the fact that they had at least 20 people waiting at the counter. The cashier spoke little English and I spoke up after about ten minutes to the manager. During that time, she was doing nothing and it was apparent that this poor guy was overwhelmed and she could have manned the second register. I asked her to help so this line could be moved faster. It took her a moment to get it and I was amazed that this cashier apologized for my request to ask for faster customer service.
A lot of the customers that come here are construction workers that come here after work to buy beer. It might be the time to avoid the place.
It would seem that the place does enough business where you could have two people behind the counter.

Reviewing a gas station? I know, I know, it’s crazy. But I have never experienced the level of service I have at this one.
First it has the necessary walk-​in beer fridge in the back which fits in with the country atmosphere of west McKinney where I live, and the people are SO NICE.
I went one night this winter to buy some drinks and some firewood and the guy behind the counter actually carried the firewood out to my car for me, and no one in the gas station complained about having to wait a few extra minutes. Talk about great community and great service.
Also, because this gas station is a little farther down 380 it has pretty good gas prices all the time!
