We really enjoyed Wildfire. We had an event for 10 people for graduation. The service was fabulous! Room was great. We were impressed how busy the restaurant was on a Friday afternoon in June. Impressive demand!(I had never been to Wildfire before.) Chopped salad was great. All guests loved their entrees. A great time. We didn’t even use up our minimum for the room — so that tells you the food is reasonably priced. This is not a cheap restaurant, but it is not a clip joint either. We truly appreciated that. I think if you have a group, it will be the drinks that would take most groups past the minimum for the room. Anyway a great time and a pleasure to write a review. I am at about 4.5 stars, so this is pretty close to five stars for me. I really look forward to my next trip back. Again, great server(in her 40s or so, black hair — management: you know her and she is good.)

You can’t go wrong by coming here. I’ve been to some many restaurants around town, and Wildfire always has what I want. Their lunch specials are great, and not very expensive. I prefer the lunch menu because it’s quick and the portions are just right. Their bartenders and alcohol menu is very good, plus the can make anything you want the way you want. Adris, the manager, is awesome. He always makes me feel like I’m home and welcomed. He is a good guy. The food is great! If you are looking to host a party or event, their event staff is very easy to work with and their event menus are delicious and well priced.

I was thrilled to see their extensive gluten free menu. My daughter and I ended up ordering gluten free burgers and I chose gf au gratin potatoes as my side and my daughter chose gf Mac n cheese. I’m giving it four stars instead of five just simply because our waiter wasn’t ever around much and we had to wait and wait to get drink refills and my burger wasn’t cooked properly so I had to wait and wait for him to come back by so I could tell him. The manager ended up coming over and coming my burger since I didn’t get my meal until everyone had already finished their meals. I will go back and try it all again though. Really good food.

The food is good. They have a great variety. My issue is there carry out. They never have anyone at the carry out desk. You have to walk around and find someone. You have to ask at least three folks before someone comes to help.

Ok… Now we’re talking!!! Its So good to be back home in the metropolitan area, where you can go to an upscale restaurant, be surrounded by ethnically and culturally diverse people, receive top notch service, and eat fabulous food. there’s no place like the DMV :) Our waiter Jose was outstanding! Not only was he great at serving our table, but he also had to handle 2 other tables, which included a party of 10 sitting adjacent to us. He was friendly, prompt, and attentive… thank you, Sir! Ok.lets get down to business and discuss the eats… The Cornbread – amazing! Moist and perfectly sweet, with actual pieces of corn baked into the bread… yummy! Jose gave us an extra serving while waiting for our appetizers ;) Appetizers: crispy, hot, fresh calamari… which literally had me throwing my hands up in air doing the«hallelujah wave» upon 1st bite. I also had the shrimp and crab bisque, which was creamy but not too thick, and was very flavorful. highly recommend this item. and I’m not even a soup person! Entrée: I ordered the Prime Angus burger with pepper jack cheese, and I requested it medium WELL. However, when it came out, it looked more like medium RARE! My friend started laughing. and I sat there dumbfounded. Jose promptly took it back, and I asked if it can be cooked well done this time. I believe the manager even came over to our table to acknowledge and apologize for the inconvenience of the burger mishap, which sealed the deal for me. A few minutes later, I was given a new ‘well done’ burger, which still managed to be juicy, and was also well seasoned. My friend got a seafood platter, which included coconut shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, cedar wood salmon, and a crab cake. Of course, I had my obligatory bite of each item from the platter(minus the scallops) and it was delicious. And that crab cake was the truth though. just a heads up! No dessert for us. we were too full! But it looked scrumptious. their dessert menu is an actual tray full of each of their dessert items. Notable mention goes to the bartender: Our drinks were good… I had the Moscow mule and it was made well. I drank about half of it, but still happened to feel slightly buzzed by the time our apps came out, which I now realize why I threw caution to the wind with that«hallelujah wave» in the middle of the restaurant, while eating that calamari… ah-ha moment! Overall, I highly recommend this place. great service, great food, and great ambiance. We went on a Friday night, and it was busy, but not overbearing. And the service was still swift. I recommend making reservations as well… Bön Appetit…

Visited them Friday night. They were not that busy. Good — but not great steaks and prime rib. Ok calamari. Luke warm sides — cold soggy fries. The entrees were good but at their price point I expect the kitchen and wait staff to be top notch and coordinated. That was not the case. I would go back but am not in a hurry to go back.

You know that warm and fuzzy feeling you get when your mom cooks your all time favorite meal and it is always delicious? Well Wildfire is no different. I’ve been to the location in Schaumburg IL and the service and food in Tyson’s is not only consistent with IL but it is «slap your mama scrumptuous» on every level. I ordered the filet medallion Oscar cooked medium and it was like cutting through butter! The au jus sauce was to die for and the lump crab gave it the right amount of richness. Every bite made me close my eyes and savor the moments. Michelle — our waitress was awesome! She treated us like family than diners and definitely catered to our every need. Wildfire is definitely a bit pricey but it is worth it!!!

Their coconut shrimp and New York strip are absolutely scrumptious! Prices are decent and portions are ginormous. The ambiance is cozy and the wait staff are so incredibly welcoming and accommodating. All in all, Wildfire is a great choice for any occasion.

I’ve been here several times and it’s always been consistent. Recently I came here for my friends surprise birthday dinner. The servers were very accommodating and were more than happy to help with the surprise. They even dimmed the lights and allowed balloons and party noisemakers. I ordered a steak salad which was very big. The steak was a bit tough but the bleu cheese vinaigrette was AMAZING! I tried my boyfriend’s ribs which were good and my friend’s rib eye which was the best thing at the table. All in all, great service and you should definitely come here for the steaks! :D

The food here is solid and consistent. Some things are great for the price(chicken and ribs) or the Chopped Salad. The chicken sandwich is okay, and their desserts are okay as well. Cornbread is complimentary and usually delicious. Warm, slightly sweet, and buttery, be careful if you eat too much because it will fill you up.

I have been to Wildfire about 3 – 4 times now and I loved it the very first time, but now it didn’t necessarily impress me. I like the dim lights environment, it’s very relaxing. I would suggest making reservations since Tysons area is always busy. Dinner wasn’t bad but it wasn’t magnificent either. They serve corn bread in the beginning which worked perfectly for me since I was pretty hungry. The best part was the appetizer. We had bacon wrapped sea scallop skewers with apricot sauce and they were absolute heaven! Now the entrees were alright. I had the medallion trio just so I could top it with 3 different crusts(they offer a variety of crusts and sauces for the steak) and mashed potatoes, and my friend had the prime rib with mushrooms. the mushrooms were mediocre. We are both steak lovers, but weren’t too impressed with what we got. We also ordered 3 layer chocolate cake for dessert and unfortunately there wasn’t anything special about it. Beware: even though opentable says it’s $ 30 and under, this place is not. My friend and I paid for 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 beers and 1 dessert $ 122(excluding tip).

This review is for my wedding rehearsal dinner we had at Wildfire. I’ve been dining here many times and always liked the food and service here. When it came to finding a place for my wedding rehearsal dinner, this was on top of my list. From the very beginning, speaking to Amanda and securing our private rooms, I knew I was in good hands. The rooms were nice enough, same with the seats. The servers were very attentive and our group sure liked to drink and they did a good job getting our drinks out in a timely manner. Their club supper dinner has so much food, all of us were so stuffed and full. You can also order(like Maggianos) if you run out of food. The Chicken & Portobello Mushroom Skewers and Bison Meatballs were good starters. I think after the salad course, I was loosing my belt. I just really dig their chopped salad. Caesar salad was a bit too cheesy. The highlight must have been the prime rib. Its a surcharge and its cut thin so you can eat more slices :) and cooked a perfect medium. The Chicken Breast Moreno with Artichokes was good too, but was hardly touched. The two side dishes we got were fine, but the mashed potatoes were so creamy! After doing many shots and drinks(out in the bar and inside the dining room), the desserts come out. Cheesecake and chocolate layered cake. Delicious! I can see why many first dol parties come here for lunch(much cheaper then dinner) and I highly recommend this place for parties. The food was just great, and yes, it is quite expensive, especially with open bar, but your family and friends will be talking about the party long after the party is over.

If you are ever in the Tysons Virginia area and you are looking for a place to grab something good to eat with great portion sizes and good prices, then check out Wildfire. For a party of 10 we were taken care of by our server in a timely and attentive matter. Although there was a little draft and a longer then usual wait for the food, we were satisfied with delicious cornbread that you start with at the table. Some of the table highlights were the shrimp and crab bisque, the different steaks and the burgers. Wildfire is great for large groups, a quick bite to eat after shopping or a low key date night. A quote from one of the guest, «even though I waited the longest for my food I will definitely be back for the skirt steak and it was worth the wait.» #fallynsfoodieexcursions #wildfireoftysons #newyearseve2015

My office had our holiday lunch here. I hadn’t been to Wildfire for at least a decade. It’s nice to know that their quality and customer service is still spectacular. We got the Bison Meatballs, Mussels, and Calamari to start. But, you definitely can’t forget the Corn Bread. It was absolutely delicious! My co-worker and I couldn’t stop eating it. It’s slightly crispy on the outside and the inside was moist and soft with actual pieces of corn. It was sooo good! … and a great way to start! The Mussels were steamed and came with a delicious garlic-y, butter sauce that I just couldn’t get enough of! The Bison Meatball was good but nothing spectacular. I loved the calamari! It wasn’t oily, and went well with the sauces they provided. For the entrée I ordered the strip steak with caramelized red onions. The steak was seasoned perfectly and they cooked it at a perfect medium. It was soft and chewy and basically melted in my mouth. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He was diligent about refilling out glasses and helped me out when I couldn’t decide what to get. I will definitely go back again, and highly recommend it.

I love wildfire. I live close to this location and I eat here fairly frequently. It does sort of blend into the 7+ steak houses Tysons holds, but this location had a few thing I do really like. I love the fillet trio which is 3 small pieces of fillet(maybe 3oz) all with a different crust or seasoning. It’s a great way to experience many different flavors on the same plate. I also think their steaks are of great quality, and they are always tender, well seasoned, and honestly I have probably eaten here one 20+times between pharmaceutical diners and my own outings. My largest disappointment had been that Thursdays are duck night, and literally over 3 Thursdays I have went to wildfire looming forward to duck they have always been sold out! I have never complained, but one time I did sort of tell the waiter«wow, I come just for this and it’s always sold out», so the manager did stop by to tell me they only have 10 – 12 servings a night and once they’re gone– they’re gone. He did comp my entrée(totally unnecessary), and tell me to call ahead to reserve a duck. What a nice guy! So the food is great and the people are too nice! I really love this place.

Been coming to Wildfire for years now and they never let me down, came here for valentine’s day a couple of years ago and my date went well and she was happy, came here for thanksgiving with my sister and brother in law they were stuffed and happy, I came here alot for brunch and everything is good BUT those lemon ricotta pancakes and eggs benidict are delicious. …man oh man! They have good steaks, burgers, a really good chopped salad and the cornbread is decent, they also have the club supper menu which is all served family style Note: they have an awesome management staff that come around and make you feel welcome when dining in.

A lackluster night at Wildfire, my first not-so-great experience at any Lettuce Entertain You restaurant. Let’s start with the Caesar salad — the large size is truly large, but the dressing is jusk okay, the chicken was actually scant given the size of the salad, and what chicken there was had a rubbery feel to it. I had also ordered the burger, which our server told us several times would«be right out». He visited our table four times over a 30-minute period to check on everything, and that fourth time, I reminded him that I was still waiting for my burger. It then appeared instantaneously — but, it was a bit on the tepid side and the fries were limp, making me think that the burger had just been sitting there, forgotten, until I reminded him. Putting all that aside, the burger had a greasy mouthfeel, a mouthfeel that persisted until I got home and was able to hit the Listerine. I obviously should have sent the food back, but by that point, I just wanted to get out of the restaurant. Given this particular dining experience, my impression is that the staff at Wildfire mistakes being friendly with providing good service. The primary job of a server is to pace the meal and keep tabs on what’s going on with an order, but that didn’t happen on this visit — and I have to put this one right on management, who obviously need to do a better job at training their staff.

As a supposedly«upscale» establishment, I expected more from both the food and service at Wildfire. I came here with a group of friends for dinner on a Sunday evening. There were 8 of us total and we were immediately seated per our 7PM reservation. The restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere with its dimmed lighting and classy interior. Very representative of a ritzy steakhouse. I found the menu a bit overwhelming. There were a large array of dishes ranging from sandwiches and steaks to seafood, chicken and barbecue. They also offered combination plates, daily specials, nightly specials, and even a club supper menu for large gatherings. I suppose variety is good, but it does get concerning when a steakhouse goes awry from the more traditionally refined menu. Our server was friendly, but did not make many appearances to the table. Our waters were only refilled once and our checks had several items that were mismatched. Shrimp & Penne Pasta($ 18.95) — First off, the pasta noodles were hard and undercooked. I mean, the very foundation of the pasta was wrong from the start. The dish included 6 pieces of shrimp that were tiny and practically nonexistent. I had to dig around for each piece of shrimp just to make sure I had not received a protein-less dish. The pasta had a nice basil aroma and large fire-roasted tomatoes that were flavorful and juicy. The pasta also had heaps of corn which added a sweet, but peculiar taste. The Wildfire Chopped Salad($ 13.95) — The salad was very large and well-portioned. The combination of roasted chicken, avocado, tomatoes, bacon, and blue cheese topped with a citrus lime vinaigrette created a light and refreshing taste. New York Strip Steak($ 27.95) — The broiled steak was well-cooked and had a charred, crisp exterior. While the meat was tender, the overall taste was bland and indistinctive. There were only a few inconsistent hints of smokiness throughout the steak. Overall it did not match the menu description of being cooked to the fullest flavor. Spit-Roasted Turkey Dinner($ 19.95) — The Sunday«Nightly Special» was very reminiscent of a traditional, Thanksgiving dinner. It came with several side dishes that included a mushroom-herb stuffing, cranberry relish, and mashed potatoes. The turkey was tender and coated with a tasty gravy. The stuffing was flavorful but had a rubbery texture. The redskin mashed potatoes were creamy and soft. Sadly, the steep prices and mediocre quality of food at Wildfire just did not align for me. I believe there are better steakhouses out there that can deliver on both quality and service.

I had come here for brunch before and it wasn’t very good, but last night’s potato encrusted scallops sure made up for that experience. I first started off with a side spinach salad and it was just ok. I know its not fair to compare but my favorite spinach salad is Chart House. At any rate, I got the dressing on the side and it was fine. The potato encrusted scallops were good and there were a lot of them, like 7 and it came with some sauteed spinach. I also got a side of broccoli and they were a little hard and needed to be more steamed. My friend had the BBQ chicken with mashed potatoes and he said it was pretty good. Overall a good meal, just need to cook broccoli longer. I’ll be sure to come back and try the prime rib as it seems as though its a specialty item.

4.5 I used Wildfire for a rehearsal dinner and they did a great job. The prime rib was especially good. Usually the salads and sides are good. The chicken dish we had was ok. By the time dessert came we were all stuffed. All our guests really enjoyed themselves. We ended up doing an open bar and overall it was a bit pricey. We were a bit stressed from planning at that point to decide on alcohol but like I said everyone enjoyed themselves. Wait staff was great despite a lot of walking around and being in their way.
