The owner is the meanest person I have ever met in my life. After he berated my mother for touching a pepper shaker on the counter(right next to the area where you pick up your food) I politely asked him to treat her with a little more respect. He then turned to me, offered to settle the matter with a fight«when he gets off at 4,» and told me to «listen to my mommy and sit down.» The only thing keeping me from creating a scene and disrupting the entire restaurant was my poor mother, who was near tears, begging me to leave. From what I hear, this was not the first time he has started a conflict, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I can honestly say I will NEVER eat there again. The food, by the way, was extremely average. I could pay a homeless person to do that man’s job better than he does. I hope I never have to see that horrible person again.

Great find. We were in McMinnville recently and tried Geraldi’s. There were so many items on the menu, but we stuck with pizza. The medium size was more than enough for two people. The prices are remarkably reasonable! We will be back.

First time ordering, I decide to order delivery. We order everything and told it’ll be $ 40 including delivery charge and it’ll be here in 45 minutes. Hour and a half later it’s here and the delivery man asks for $ 50. I didn’t think anything of it. He was nice, if that counts for anything. The food was not worth $ 50 at all. Not even $ 40. Food was packed poorly. I ordered a calzone with a side of marinara sauce — marinara sauce was out of its container and everywhere. Garlic bread was flat and bland. First time going to Geraldis and probably the last.

My daughter wanted Italian Food while we were out the other day runnin around. This place had one person working there doing everything… weird. Needless to say things moved slow, that poor guy… The most annoying part of this experience was that you order and pay up front at the counter, so while paying with my debit card you sign on one of those flat screen things… and it gives you the tip option. the different percentages or No tip… I’m not a jerk and of course always tip, and I tip nice, So I gave a good tip. Pretty much for nothing because you have to even bus your own tables at this place. I fully understand that this guy was working and doing everything but I personally feel its incredibly shady to have that thing on there where you tip right away, but end up busing your table. Making several trips the two of us from our table to the garbage can scraping food off and putting our dishes in a bin… no different than carls jr… why did I tip? The food is pretty much frozen stuff they thaw and throw some sauce on… I make better at home. Kind of quaint inside but for the $ and what we were hoping for I am not eager to go back. Maybe they have good pizza? I don’t know.

Went for dinner. Was craving Italian. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. Tasted good because i was craving it. Could improve the flavor of the sauce by simple spices. Noodles were dry. Meatballs bland. Costomer Service was okay. But, that can always be inproved. For being one of two Italian restaurant in town could use a upgrade on food and service. It would give them more business. That is for sure.

Our worst family experience yet. The owner is a truly horible person who order me to shut up and go sit down when I asked if my son and daughter’s food was coming up. My wife and I had received ours and had been waiting for a few minutes. It was only cheese bread and ravioli however this overwhelmed this little«napoleon» of a man. It is no wonder there are so many bad reviews. I implore you to think twice before spending a penny at this restaurant. They employees apologized numerous time for the owner behavior, I feel for them and hope the best for them as well. You must enjoy a horrible environment, bad service(due to the owner in the mini kitchen) and a truly unpleasant experience to find this place of any value. Sad, sad, sad. Won’t be fun explaining this please to my kids. I was completely shocked by this experience

Great lunch special. Salad, slice and a drink for $ 5. On the pizza Pizza they used quality ingredients, and the salad was very basic… and I actually enjoy a basic salad… no Dandelions for me.

While the food was flavorful, the staff was beyond unprofessional. I watched an employee spill something on the counter while filling little plastic cups, scrape it off of the counter with the spatula, and then continue using that same spatula to fill the little cups again. The other employee then says, «Whatever, it won’t kill ‘em.» Really. REALLY?! I can only hope that people don’t get sick because of this type of thing. They had an incredibly poor and somewhat disrespectful attitude. I suggest cleaning house and bringing in some people that actually care about the work that they do. I understand that they are young, but that is no excuse for such negligent behavior.

I love Geraldis. I’ve visited several different locations since I was a kid. I will never return to this location though. We stopped by here to get a pizza before a big football game. While we waited for the pizza we heard the manager/cook repeatedly swear at his employees and berate them in front of his customers. It made for a very tense and unpleasant experience. I felt so bad for the employees there. They seemed to be trying to work hard but the swearing and screaming at the employees would not stop. After the manager made several public confrontations, I decided enough was enough. I informed the cook that no human being deserved to be spoken to in such a manner and that it made a tense atmosphere for the guests. The manager looked me in the eye and told me to get the f*** out of his restaurant. I requested a refund on my pizza and gave the refund as a tip to the poor employees. If I worked here I’d quit immediately and tell future patrons to never return. Perhaps this manager is a angry disgruntled child or friend of the owners? I can’t imagine why he’s still there after reading some other Unilocal reviews. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. I don’t care what the pizza taste like if you have to throw out over a dozen f bombs at your employees in front of customers.

Haven’t even eaten the pizza and this place gets one star. While waiting for our pizza to finish up we have had to listen to the manager curse and yell at employees telling them they can’t do their job. This made for a very unpleasant environment. Not how you train and build employees. Treat your employees better. Never returning. I hope your employees quit.

Accidentally found ourselves downtown and smelled the spices wafting down the street. We were sucked in and obliged to experience the pizza they had to offer. Yum! We were impressed that they served garlic bread prior to our pizza and refilled sodas. Great value. Polite, courteous staff. We were able to eat at a table outside and keep our dog with us. Thank you!!!

Haven’t been to McMinnville in 20 years and glad we stopped here for pizza. We ordered a large pepperoni for the kids and I got a small Mama Mia. Both were larger than we thought, the crust was moist & fluffy. My son, who is very critical about his pizza says there is the perfect amount of sauce, cheese & spices! I agreed and the woman who took our order was super friendly, got us a small basket of garlic bread while we waited and even checked on is to make sure everything was good.

I am never eating in this place again, the owner was so rude to me and to other customers there, he yelled at me to get the F… Out of there, because he didn’t have my order ready and I decided to canceled. Then other costumers told him to not be rude and he started yelling to get the F… Out of there.

We stopped at Geraldi’s after a hike. My husband ordered a couple of slices of cheese pizza. He really enjoyed it! It was loaded with tons of cheese, nice italian pizza sauce which wasn’t too sweet, and it was served piping hot. I had a couple bites and thought it was the best tasting pizza I’ve eaten in McMinnville. I ordered the antipasto salad sans the pepperoncinis. It was terrific! The dressing on it was really excellent, the lettuce fresh and crisp, the toppings of mozzarella and salami were likened to shredded pieces tossed into the salad which were easy to eat and I preferred to the usual huge chunks, and the salad also had kalamata and green olives. I love salads and would have liked it to be a little larger since it was so good and because it was more a luncheon size. I also would have preferred more toppings on it while omitting the three pieces of garlic toast. I did like the garlic toast and was surprised to receive it. We like the intimate café feel of the inside and don’t mind the bus your own table. It’s great food, at a great price in a relaxing environment and I would definitely recommend it.

Stopped by here with the wife on the way back home from the casino. We drove through the downtown are of McMinnvile looking for something to jump out and draw us in. We saw the Geraldi’s sign and the words PIZZA. we are fools for pizza. We ordered a large combination without validating how large a large is. When they called us for the pizza it was huge! The pizza was great as far as the toppings, cheese and sauce go. The crust, which is the foundation for great pizzas was just OK, no snap or fresh out of the oven crispness/chew. The pizza was good, just not a wood oven type of good. We took a lot extra home and had it the next morning for breakfast pizza and is was OK reheated. It did not tighten up as much as some others when reheated. The staff and counter help was very good and engaged everyone who walked in and up to the counter. Restaurant was clean and they looked to have plenty of seating. They have a deli look with the coolers but not a lot of offerings in the coolers that match that Italian Deli model.

I’ve been eating at Geraldi’s for about a decade now and I can say with some confidence that they’re pretty solid. I used to get plates of cooked pasta and sprinkle them with marinara and red pepper flakes. It was cheap, filling, and tasty enough to keep me going. Eventually, I graduated to their pasta dishes, delicious bread, and their sandwiches. My favorites are the Pesto Veggie and the Eggplant Parmesan. As a vegetarian, delicious and creative sandwiches are a little hard to find – most places just throw a bunch of random vegetables between some bread with too much lettuce and call it good. At Geraldi’s, my guests are usually the ones looking longingly at *my* sandwiches. I also just enjoy eating here. There’s a bar with a view of third street, which is good for people watching, or some tables in the back behind a kind of partition that feels more intimate. I can’t speak to the pizza, unfortunately, having not had it in many years. Their sandwiches are just so darn good.

Geraldi’s is a nice little Italian eating place. They offer a variety of Italian and a few not-so-Italian dishes and the prices are very good. The pizza features pre-made crusts, so they are thick and chewy, and the toppings are substantial. If you’re looking to fill up, this is the ticket, but I like a thinner crust and I wish they were a bit spicier. Essentially, this is great middle-American pizza. Along with the pizza, there is a very good collection of hot and cold sandwiches, salads and pasta. Spaghetti with serious meatballs, lasagna, etc. The service is fast, friendly and very courteous. The lunch specials are great. For five bucks you can chose any two items between soup, salad and sandwiches.(Cold sandwiches only.) The potato cheddar soup is great! They also offer a three-dollar lunch special with a slice of pizza and a drink. Hot sandwiches are $ 6 for a half and $ 7 for a whole, so that’s tough to beat in the value column, and everything I’ve had so far tastes great.
