If you are looking for a nice flat(mostly scenic) paved trail without cars between Ashland and Medford, this is it. We saw joggers and walkers but mostly bikers on this greenway. Generally it was nicely and smoothly paved albeit with a few sand sections and bumps. Generally it was a few degrees cooler than the rest of the area due to its proximity to the creek and the shade. No mosquitoes while we were biking. We biked directly from the Ashford dog park to the Medford dog park(~ 10.5 miles), passing tons of raspberry bushes, dogs, trailer parks, a baseball arena and lots of parks. The one issue we often had was which way to turn when we came to splits. Generally we followed other bikers but did find the intersections not well labelled. It took us just a minute to figure it out but be warned. Also we crossed roads a few times but these intersections were easy. Biking with children should not be too much trouble.
