You will never find this bar unless you know somebody in Medford. My husband is from Medford, hence the reason I know of it, lol. Its great though. Think«Sweet Home Alabama.» Yeah… its the type of bar that you could call and say«is Brady there?» and not only will the bar tender know who you’re talking about, but she’ll give him the phone, lol. Born and raised in the city, I couldn’t believe that places like this really still existed. I’d seen them on movies but never in real life. I will mention however, that I was scared shitless my first time going here. I’m one of the few black people in Medford, but definitely the only one to ever step foot in the Muni. Pretty damn scary seeing as how diversity is something I’ve always been a part of. Anyway, after my third or fourth time visiting, I started to ease up. Everyone knows my husband so it makes it a little easier. All in all its a cool place. Not really sure why I’m writing a review because I don’t think the Muni gets very many new comers… if you do happen to stop by, just have a drink and tell them that you’re an out of towner, I’m sure everyone will give you shit.
