This place is amazing! Such great services and products! I see Mien for facials and she is the absolute best!!! She fixes any skin problem I have! Couldn’t recommend her enough! I’ve referred all my friends to her!

My co-​worker and I received Spa-​finder 360 gift cards and Sain Visage accepted these so we both decided to get facials. The esthetician’s were very flexible with us so that we could get our facials at the same time. The facial treatment was very relaxing and my skin looked and felt nice afterwards. My only reservation is that I felt the price was a little high seeing that you do not receive any extras after the treatment. For the same price, I’ve had facials before at day spa’s where you get to enjoy the steam room, sauna, hot tub etc. afterward for however long you want. All in all, it was a positive experience but I may only return for treatments for very special occasions because of the price.

Hmmmmm… just looked over the reviews from others visiting here and, well, I guess we all have out own experiences and «takes» on things (although I do confess I find public shaming rather disgusting, which seems to occur on Unilocal far too often in my opinion, where people are relegated to a «servant» position rather than a person honing a skill, growing, developing, evolving, but ok, ok… that’s how it goes here and we people have little/​no tolerance for «less than» outstanding achievements, unless that ‘growing” falls to our own claims but anywho…) so let me offer my quick input.
I have come in several times to get my eyebrows done. I am a man and do NOT want to look like a chick (just an expression… you can call me a slang terms too if that helps, lol), so finding someone who does it «right» can be hard. Mein was my gal and she did it perfectly every time. Very precise. Very attentive. Very skilled. But this review falls to one day when a little flush, I thought about a facial, so I put that in the mix with the eyebrow thing and it was very nice. But the real «magic» occurred several months later when I decided to do it again and… well, she not only did a great job with the eyebrows (no brainer at this point; I think she rocks!), but she did the facial and asked about my shoulder, which I had tweaked several weeks earlier and was nursing with great care, although I had said nothing about it. She asked if she might work on it a bit and in short, she did such a remarkable job, even suggesting I rest it one more day and then resume working out lightly the following, that when I began working out as suggested, my shoulder pain was fully absent. I was, well… blown away. [I had actually had a massage several days previously (name will remain anonymous) with a trial coupon some place else, and they not only didn’t notice the shoulder issue, but did nothing to help.]
I do not believe in «magic» (oh, I would LOVE to believe in it, don’t get me wrong; those who manage the art of self-​delusion with Santa, God and Easter Bunny… I am a tad jealous, I must confess) but Mein performed a magic on my shoulder, which might only be called «magic», which also added to her exceptional skills in eyebrow care. My hat is off to her with much respect. Thanks Mein.

I love this place. The massage therapists are excellent. They are great about asking you what level of pressure you need and honing in on areas where your muscles are tight. They have been very accommodating each time I have called to make an appointment. They try to fit you in when it works for your schedule. They offer you complimentary water, tea, nutrigrain bars, and chocolates. The décor is very nice and the rooms are comfortable and have a soothing atmosphere.

Horrible customer service…
I had gotten a living social deal with them waaay back in 2010, which I had never used and didn’t realize it until recently. I booked an appointment with them, willing to pay the full price for the service, while using the value that I had paid, according to Living Social terms and Massachusetts state law. I got a call back from Mary Ellen, the manager, saying that they didn’t save the records, and it was a promotion and they lost money on it, so I couldn’t use it at all towards the service. I read her the terms of Living Social and she didn’t want to hear it. She asked if I would still like to keep my appointment, and I was in the middle of asking her not to cancel it until I at least spoke to Living Social, and she hung up on me. I was very disappointed with her rudeness and lack of professionalism in dealing with this situation, and I would not recommend this business for that fact alone.

Ladies BEWARE: This place destroys your eyebrows!!!
What a terrible place this is. I went over to get my eyebrows done and the woman Marybeth or Mary Ellen (whatever her name was) managed to wax two entirely different shapes. When I showed her what she had done incorrectly she started arguing with me about being in the business for 20 years… i don’t care how long she has been in the business for if she can’t do a simple shape and clean on eyebrows she should not have the audacity to raise her voice and create such a commotion.

Best massage I’ve had in a long time. Went to another place this week and it was nothing like the work Eve did on me at SV. Even though it’s not on my regular commute, when you find a good MT you stick with her.

I’ve gotten facials here twice now. I think they have a very reasonable price for a relaxing facial. I’m not a fan of how I feel they are trying to sell me products every time I’m there.

consider myself a «massage snob» now. I have been getting one once a month for the past 6 months. I was going to exhale battery wharf but paying 125 for an hr massage every month was getting rather ridiculous. This place is right down the street from my apt now so I decided to give them a try. $ 85 for an hr massage was a great deal to me too! My MT was Kate and I was very happy with the massage. The place wasnt anything too fancy but it wasnt bad either-​for the price I will def be back!

Terrible. Mediocre massage. Facial person was unfriendly. The owner is unorganized and dysfunctional. The prices are steep and not worth it. Look elsewhere.

I love to get massages done so I have tried quite a few places through the years. The first time I tried this spa I went there because it is very conviniently located for me. I didn’t like the massage at all. The pressure was too much and the masseus didn’t seem to care even after I mentioned that I was uncomfortable. The massage was over priced! Would not go back.
Next my husband bought me a groupon for this place! I called and requested for a different masseus and I got Thom. She’s the best. One of the best massages I’ve recieved!

I have no eyebrows left.
I specifically told Lindsey that I like my eyebrows neat but NOT thin and even like them full. I should’ve known when she said she didn’t even have a mirror. By the time she finished and I looked at her mirror on the wall it was too late. I actually have bald spots.
This place is clean and pleasant but I won’t go back. It’s a shame, Lindsey was very sweet.
