Staley’s Hair Color & Design

Staley and Nicole are so knowledgeable about color, hair cutting and the Brazilian blow out. Just as the previous rating noted — I cannot imagine going elsewhere. They talk to you in detail about what you want, no matter how many times you’ve sat in their chair. The prices are very reasonable. I have long brown hair with long layers and the color, cut and Brazilian blow out are perfect every time. Love this place!

I was recommend to Martha by a friend. I had been going to my old hairdresser for years, so i was nervous. She made me feel so comfortable and listened to my needs. Needless to say i absolutely LOVED my hair. She did exactly what i asked for, and have been receiving so many compliments. Thanks Martha!!!

I love this place, it takes me 45 minutes to drive here from my house (now that I moved) and I still don’t mind doing it because they are the best hair dressers I have ever had. Nicole did my Brazilian Blowout twice now and it has been amazing.
If you know what it feels like to live with bad frizzy and untamed curly hair, I would highly suggest this treatment especially at Staley’s. The first time I got it done, it changed my life, I know it sounds so dramatic, but knowing that you can shower and just walk out and by the time you get to work, your hair looks flawless without even brushing it, its magic and everyone deserves it. The treatment is pricey (obviously, b/​c it works magic) but it will save you time and for me, it adds confidence.
I don’t care where I move or how many times, I will return here every time I need a treatment or a haircut, because its 100% worth it.

Staley’s is great! I have gone there for over 2 years now and have had both Martha and Niki and both are great. I can only reiterate what others here have said: they both skip the chatter and let me veg out, and cut my hair exactly how I ask.
I cannot imagine ever getting my haircut anywhere else when Staley’s is so great and the prices are reasonable.

Marta is the BEST hair stylist ever. I have been going to her for years and was never ever disappointed. She always listens to what you want, she is very talent and very friendly. Call and make an appointment with her!!!

Staley’s is great! Definitely an outdated atmosphere. I called for the first time and got an appointment within a few days. I didn’t have to wait weeks or months. Kelly cut my hair and did a fantasic job! The price was $ 40 or $ 45 for a wash and cut and it was worth every cent, Fantastic find in Medford!

I agree with other Unilocalers, don’t be deterred by Staley’s hole-​in-​the-​wall qualities. The stylists are awesome, and the best part is they don’t make you talk the whole time. You can sit there and relax and just get your hair cut.
AND they do a fantastic job! As long as I can remember I’ve always hated getting my hair cut bc I never liked the way it turned out. Now I look forward to it, because like other people have said, they cut your hair exactly how you ask them to.
Of course, the price can’t be beat either. You’ll spend half of what you’d spend downtown.

As promised, I returned to Staleys for another hair cut. Actually I have been there several times now and have not been disappointed. Hair cut has always been very good, cheap and quick and stylists are all friendly. Cant beat this place for price and quality.

I discovered Staley’s through a coworker who had a fantastic cut and color. I started going to Nicole a few years ago and I have been thrilled with the cut and color every single time. I now live in New York, but whenever I’m home I go back to Staley’s for the fantastic cut & color and great prices. I highly recommend this salon.

On a recommendation of a co-​worker I got my hair cut here. They have very reasonable pricing and my stylist Nicole was AWESOME. She didn’t do the inane chatter thing, she works weeknights until 9 pm, and most importantly she cut my hair exactly how I asked her to, not a fraction of an inch shorter!
It’s a bit hole-​in-​the-​wall-​ish but don’t let that deter you, the quality of the work is excellent.
