Healing Hands Massage

Getting an appt with Ian is very difficult, so I would not sign up for the contract if you are busy and only can make an appt for weekends
Ian is hard to get an appointment so book in advance, way in advance ! But Ryan is also very good!!!

I just had a massage this morning with Heather. I left feeling relaxed and loose. She attended to my every needs. She worked especially hard on the areas where I have arthritis and I feel pretty good today. I will be back!

I first came here because of a groupon and had a great experience. The masseuse was wonderful always checking about the pressure, made sure to ask if there were any medical issues and if there were any specific areas that I needed her to concentrate on. I returned a few months later and received the same treatment. Months later I was experiencing back pain and between massages and acupuncture I was able to get rid of the back pain without medication. I have brought my daughters here (12 and 14) and both have had wonderful experiences. It was the first time for each girl and each have requested to return.

Came here on a groupon. They did a great job, the place was very clean, employees were friendly and the girl who did my massage was awesome. If I hadden’t moved recently after, I’d be coming back!

I have never proactively scheduled a massage for myself unless I was given some sort of gift certificate. After receiving one from Ian at Healing Hands Massage however I will be back again without question. For the most part I am unable to relax fully when receiving a message and by the time the masseur makes his/​her way up to my oh so knotty neck I am quickly reminded of the über fulfilling but stressful job that creates these pain body’s & knots in my neck. Not with Ian! He had the perfect touch and was able to remove those knots in my neck with little to no pain! I was able to get through the entire session without thinking about work or what I «should have» been doing in that 1hr of peaceful bliss.. . It was all mine!
Healing Hands was very easy & convenient to schedule an appointment. So easy they asked ME when I was available to come in. They had openings the night I called & scheduled.
I definitely will be back again … If I can work massages into my expense report I’d be there every week!

this past monday morning began for me with a tasty iced latte… and a pain in my neck. no, not a person driving me batty, rather a quite literal PAIN in my neck :(you know the kind of neck pain where if you inadvertently, say, breathe, the sharp sensation shoots up your spine and stops you dead in your tracks? yeah, let’s just say ‘ouch’ is an understatement.
after a day of popping aleve to no avail, i broke down and scheduled an appointment at healing hands to help ease my aching neck… and the rest of my body, too. while i am well aware that a massage was not going to provide me with an instant cure, i have had enough personal experience with therapeutic massage to know that releasing the built-​up tension/​toxins in my muscles could only benefit my situation — and it did. while i’m not 100% just yet, i am no longer in the extreme pain that i was before my appointment. that said, on to it!
for starters, when i called around 2pm to make an appt for after work that same nite, i had no problems making my last minute request. i had wanted to see patricia, whom i had been to before, but she was booked until later in the evening, and i simply could not wait that long. i scheduled with someone else instead as they have a number of people on staff, and was happily surprised when i arrived at 5:30 that, due to a cancellation, patricia was able to see me. as a masseuse, she is strong, but gentle, and is able to really dig into the knotted up mess of my back. when it comes to massage, I like it rough! her voice is soft and soothing as she intermittently checks in to make sure that the level of pressure, table temperature, etc were all to my liking… and at times I definitely felt myself drifting off into happyland…
a 1 hour full body therapeutic massage (in addition to my neck/​back, she also worked my arms, legs and head… aaah) is $ 75. this price varies both with appt length as well as intensity of the pressure applied. i also opted, for an extra $ 15, to have moist heat pads applied to my neck/​upper back to help loosen up the trouble area before she began kneading the hell out of it. In addition to the physical benefits, the heavy heat felt quite amazing.
the facility is not fancy, but it is clean, pleasantly dim in the private rooms and by no means a dump. the oils used on my skin had a wonderfully soothing aroma, and did not leave me feeling greasy afterwards. i was handed a card for $ 5 off on my next visit if I return within 30 days and will likely be putting it to use soon.
