The best pizza I have ever had. EVERYTHING I have tried is fresh and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is clean and fun for the entire family. Not expensive at all. They deliver and have different entertainment during the week. The staff is friendly and they all make you feel like you are part of their family. You can tell a lot of TLC goes into Joey Palermo’s Pizza pub!

I am from the Midwest and love Chicago type food. I have been here a few times and I can say that this is authentic Chicago food in Florida. The Chicago style Italian Beef was fantastic and the service from the feisty Chicago born bartender made this a great experience. The décor made me feel right at home. A must try!!!

The pizza at this place, makes cheap, frozen pizza taste good! This is the worst pizza in Brevard County!

We decided to try this restaurant so Glad we did. Sat outside our server was wonderful, food was Great we had the Chicago Beef Sandwich best I have had in Melbourne. My family is all from Chicago trust me it’s a great sandwich. And the fries were on piont too. We definitely will go back. And they are doggie friendly even brought him water, our server really made it a nice experience. Can’t wait to try the pizza too.

Their spinach, bacon, and chicken pizza is very tasty. The bar area is dated and underwhelming. I would order the pizza again for delivery or carry out.

I feel sorry for them… it looks like a nice place. but the pizza was horrible… greasy cheesy mess (that I will no doubt pay for in a few hours from now). I don’t mind if slice is reheated. but don’t throw some new cheese on it to mask the grease… and I have never. never… tasted Italian seasoning on pizza… (who does that???). Surprised they are still in business… maybe the other food is good… but don’t call this place a pizzeria. I won’t go back. shame. its in a nice location and there is seating outside.

You’ll find this place at the end of a strip plaza (Rivercrest) on US1 between Post Rd and Parkway. It’s very convenient for me as it’s close to where I work.
I’ve been in three different times and have had the same food and experience each time so I’m comfortable in my conclusion: their pizza is just not very good. It’s been pre-​baked so you can obviously tell that it’s simply re-​heated because of the consistency of the cheese. You’ll see how he’ll sprinkle a little fresh cheese on to help spruce it up but it doesn’t help. There is also a little too much Italian seasoning all over it.
I’ve eaten with others who’ve tried different things like the cheese steak and the burger and they seemed to enjoy it so maybe when I go back I’ll just stay away from the pizza.
The servers are sometimes slow in getting your check to you but they have always been very friendly and have nice personalities.

We just had the best Gyros from Joey’s. The tenderness and flavor of the meat was outstanding. The pita was also very flavorful. I would rate Joey’s better than any of the local Greek restaurants.
This was our second time to try the gyros. They were great!!!

Im from Chicago and the deep dish pizza looks great and and I had the beef which was authentic and very good! Kailie was my server and she was the bomb! Thanks Joey!

Ordered Chicago style hot dogs. While they could have been good, they forgot some of the ingredients. The dogs were good (Vienna) with poppy seed buns, but the dogs were cold. Also, there was no minced onions, no peppers, and no celery salt. In addition, the tomatoes were not ripe. Very disappointed.
Fries were greasey and limp.
Go to Mustards or Wise Guys for a better experience.
Probably won’t return.

This is by far the worst pizza in the area. I ordered the Chicago deep dish when it arrived the smell was very pungent. As I picked up the first slice everything oozed out of the middle with much grease and the vision of imitation cheese mixed with real cheese. I attempted to eat it anyways and the dough was not done in the middle. The atmosphere was terrible with junk piled up in back corner and walking through front door with smokers on both sides of door. If you want great Chicago pizza drive to Giordanos in Orlando. The waitress did apologize and tried to explain they were training a new cook, however they did not discount the bill and the large pizza minus two slices my brave boyfriend and son went ahead and tried to eat were left on the table. Sorry, but don’t waste your time going there. We had to go to dinner down the street afterwards.

Everything was awesome. Hamburger and fries were great plus chili. Great sports bar Will go back to try pizza.

Ordered delivery a few times, the first time they got my pizza wrong, but it was all right. The second time, I was truly hungry and that Chicago style stuffed crust looked right. This in no such way is like any true Chicago pizza I’ve had, I don’t even think Chicago style pizza is stuffed. I’m not at all a fan of stuffed pizza, so yeah my bad for overlooking the blatant fact it says «stuffed» but what the hell. I got the small one and it felt huge, I mean like 3 –4 pounds ghuge (no, i didn’t weigh it!) But it was… off. The crust was too doughy and bread-​y, the sauce was mediocre and the besides the pep and sausage I ordered it with, it seems it had ricotta in it. No, I wasn’t impressed. I’m more of an Unos fan for that style of pizza.

Aweful. Not Chicago food. Go Elsewhere for Chicago food like Hotdog Heaven, Mustards last stand.

Excellent place to eat awesome Italian food and all American choices as well! Very quaint… but not cramped in any way! Lots of TVs for Sports fans and other special events. Pleasant, sweet and helpful waitresses as well. They go way out of their way to make changes if need be! Loved dining there!!! Outside picnic area too! Lots of trees for shade!

Well I see other reviews… but I have to say… best deep dish pizza I’ve ever had!!! Yes waited 30 min maybe more but was warned ahead if time ! But it was worth the wait…
If your looking for fast food call one of the places that will have it to u in 20 min. Or ur money back… no where in this restaurant did it say fast food hahahah… it was amazing and I’m from up north… best deep dish hands down !

My first experience at Joey Palermo’s wasn’t bad. I met a few friends there for a football game and I have to say that it was a good place to watch a game. I ordered a cheeseburger and it was really good, but the fries were the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the calzone and my friends both ordered sandwiches. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal.
We recently went back on a Friday night and it was like a completely different place. The bartender was the only server for the restaurant. She only had about 4 tables to deal with but was still overwhelmed and told us so several times. We ordered a basket of fries as a starter and they came out 30 minutes later. The bartender/​waitress explained that the cook had to remake them because he «got sidetracked» and burnt the first batch. My cheeseburger was also burnt (ordered medium) by the time it came out, nor did it have the cheese I ordered. I guess even the cook was overwhelmed by the 4 top.
Needless to say we were disappointed with the turn Joey Palermo’s took in 4 short months. A restaurant requires consistency to survive in this small town. Good Luck, guys, I really do hope you can make some changes and turn it around.

Came to check and see if they truly have CHICAGO pizza and hot dogs.
Friendly personal, but 30 minutes ago I ordered the hot dog and pizza.
Wanted tge hot dog first, then would tast the pizza.
Too long to wait for a hot dog.
Now hot dog arrived at the same time as the pizza.
Taste test to commence.

-: hot dog — cold, bun –cold and not steamed.
Pizza: no way a Chicago Pizza. Ingredients loose, not firm. Edge of dough not Chicago.

Still not thrilled in my second trip which is too bad because the pizza is awesome (!!!) but the service… Not so awesome. Long story short, they messed up my take out order and the waitress argued with me about what I ordered. After looking at the receipt, it turns out I was right-​surprise, I knew what I ordered– and the cook misread it. NBD except: she argued with me, they didn’t comp me the incorrect pizza or a breadsticks or whatever, she actually ASKED me what I wanted them to do about the mistake, and to top it off the owner was RIGHT THERE! Really? Are you sure you are ready for the restaurant business? Because there are 3 things that need seriously need to be corrected if you want to make it:
1) it’s ok to make a mistake, just make it right. That sometimes creates better customer loyalty than being right the first time.
2) upsell. Both times I was there I wasn’t offered desert, to upgrade a special, or add an appetizer…
3) staff training– introduce the specials, customers should always feel welcome, and turn down the volume when it’s not super crowded…

Since I left my last review, Joey himself promised me a 12″ pizza to change my mind about his cuisine. It was fantastic. Very flavorful, and something I would actually recommend to my friends and family. Great service, great company, and great food. Just don’t order slices. Only order food they have to make fresh. It will be worthwhile!
