Posted review on La Preferida. AMAZING tacos! They are the real deal Mexican tacos! Seriously made my week! I’m just upset that it took me a year of living here without them!

No doubt the best authentic Mexican in the area. I usually get the excellent tacos or a torta. If you’ve never had a torta before, highly recommend trying an asada one here (with all toppings).

Passed by this place many times but finally stopped today and I’m glad I did. The tacos are out of this world. True Mexican tacos, not the junk most places serve. Double hand made tortilla with fresh fillings, Cilantro, Onion and Lime… As simple as it gets but perfect. Can’t wait to come back and try their other offerings. You go inside the store and order and pay, then take the receipt to the truck. Tables inside and out.

I lived in Mexico for several years. This is the only place I know of, in the Melbourne, FL area, to get real Mexican street tacos. They are served very traditionally with cilantro, cebolla, limón, y salsa. If you don’t like it then too bad that’s how it’s supposed to be! Carne asada is the best. The chicken tacos option is for the gringos! No one in Mexico eats those. Silly gringos

We like it so much, after we had lunch, we came back for dinner! The tacos are EXCELLENT!

Saw the rave reviews on Facebook and Florida Today so I passed by @11am I figured I would check it out.
You go inside as the Mexican music blasts away and see all the authentic goods they have and you think this could be good. You pay and you go outside to a pretty beat up food truck that does not look exactly clean let me tell ya.
Plenty of lawn crew guys hanging out getting their food for the day and it’s pretty cruddy out front honestly. I order 2 taco’s 1 chicken and 1 beef. I love Mexican food but just wound up throwing it in the trash can. It was super dry, nothing really on it. Tasteless. The salsa was good but it still could not cover up the dried out food I was given.

This is a food truck parked outside of a small grocery store. You pay for your food inside the grocery store and then you come outside and give your ticket to the lady in the food truck. Very authentic Mexican food. I had the steak tostada my husband had the steak quesadilla. Both were very good. you sit at that outdoor tables they do have a couple indoors so when it’s warm be prepared

Tacos El Vaquero is a mexican taco truck located at the intersection of Croton and Aurora Road. This place rocks… and here’s why: it’s AUTHENTIC mexican food! I’ve driven by hundreds of times and always wondered about this food truck, located in the parking lot of the Su Tienda Mexicana La Preferida mexican store. Food trucks are all the rage in the bigger cities but they are just now starting to pop up here and there in Melbourne, so I thought I’d give them a try since it’s one of the first food trucks I’ve seen in the area. I’m glad I did! This truck serves up some awesome authentic mexican tacos, complete with fresh chopped cilantro topping and a slice of lime! YUMMY!!! I ordered a chicken, pork and beef taco and all three were VERY tasty. The beef was my favorite! Prices were very reasonable/​affordable. The lady working the truck was super nice and accommodating! I’ll definitely be back!!!
