AAA has been my go-​to spot for key and lock needs for years now. It all started when I was in one of the Big Orange hardware stores waiting. And waiting. And waiting. AND WAITING for someone to have mercy on me and cut a key. After what felt like a lifetime, I vowed to find a place that was good and quick.
AAA Safe and lock is conveniently located on Highland. You don’t even have to take the key off of your keyring. They make fancy car keys. They sell fancy high-​security locks. They sell typical door and locking mechanisms for doors in the home/​office. They have batteries for your remotes. They sell key rings, and key fobs, and key tags. The prices are reasonable too.
I went in last week to have two keys cut. I was greeted immediately upon entry. I got my keys cut and was out the door in less than 5 minutes. It would have taken me that long to walk to the key station at one of the Big Orange stores.
Do yourself a favor and come here when all you need is a quick key from friendly people.

Prompt, timely service and very reasonably priced. My father-​in-​law uses them a lot for his business and they’ve always done a great job. A good number to have stored in your phone!!!

worst costumer service i have seen in a long time. I walked in the door and no one acknowledge me. two minutes later the man on crutches hops over and says how may I help you. I told him that I was here to have my car key programed. he said sure someone will be right with you. I sat down and needless to say another costumer walks in wanting to have his car key programed and the other guy who never stopped talking to acknowledge me when I walked in the door helped the guy who had walked in after me!!! I remained seated and just waited for my turn. when the locksmith (short bald stockey guy) did take my car into the back he returned and said that the key I have to be programed was already programed to another car. I told him that this can’t be this is a new key. he said I can sell you a key for $ 250 I said thats ok i’ll try some where else. when I got in my car the check engine light was on wtf. I then went in side and told the locksmith about it and he immediately said (it’s nothing I did you can go to auto zone and they will turn it off for you) I said it wasn’t on when I came in he just kept saying our equipment won’t cause the ck engine light to come on. I will never return to aaa locksmith on highland avenue ever again. Stay away from this place at all cost. You have been warned!!!
