Terrific staff! Everyone was welcoming and knowledgeable. I’m a bit surprised the food was not better considering the prices. The pre fix menu is a good deal, though. The vegetables and steaks were too heavily seasoned with black pepper. The lava cake was not worth the fifteen minute wait. Small portions of ice cream too. The restaurant was incredibly loud. I do not know of it was because it was too crowded, or people were too inebriated to hear each other. Not certain if we will return. $ 180(including tip) for two seems a bit much. Folks Folly next time.

The staff were amazing and provided us with excellent service. But the food? Hmm, not as delicious as the price said. I guess to each his own. My cousin liked the food, but I didn’t. I think it had too much black pepper. I was sneezing quite a bit. So I guess, for me, it’s not worth the price. And the very reason why I’m not giving this a 4 or a 5 is I had to wait 20 minutes for the lava cake. Huhu. And it was small. I didn’t expect the ice cream would be small because the steak I had was huge, like good enough for two. So yeah, I waited 20 minutes for a small lava cake. So, if ever you decide to try this place out, make sure to ask them and confirm how long your orders will be served. The most disappointing thing though is the noise. I’m not sure if it was just us, but it felt too noisy. Noisy enough that we won’t hear each other talking. If they can improve the noise in the future and the quality of food, maybe they would get a 5.

We went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was excellent. The service was on point. They brought us the bread out with two different butter choices. WOW!!! Then we had an appetizer, the SWEETCHILECALAMARI. It was good. Then we ordered dinner. I had the 20oz bone in ribeye, creamed spinach and the mashed potatoes. My wife had the small filet and green beans. I can tell you that the sides are big enough for two people. Over all the service was great. The food delicious but it was pricey. Glad we did it but would do it different. If you get two sides and the 20oz steak and split it you will both leave full. Great place though for sure.

We had a lovely evening at Flemmings in the private room. Our group of 35+ were given exceptional service and attention from the group of servers who assisted us. We had a pre fixed me u to order from which included salad, entrees, sides and dessert. The filet, shrimp and scallops were melt in your mouth delicious and the portions were very generous. I especially enjoyed the scallops! We were also treated to cheesecake with fresh berries which was light and fluffy. I had never been to a Flemmings before but I am sure to go back after this wonderful experience and exceptional food.

Came here with a date a few nights ago to check out the happy hour I’ve been reading about. Glad I did! We were lucky to arrive as someone at the bar was leaving, so we were able to snag two seats together. It was packed, and they were saying it would be a 45-min wait! Happily, we avoided that and ordered some drinks while we looked over the menu. I had the blackberry bramble — not on happy hour till 8(we were there at 6), but none of the 6:00 drinks appealed to me. The complimentary chips were greasy and not that great, and that plus the loud atmosphere had me second-guessing the venue. However, things improved once we ordered! We shared a few of the happy hour offerings — pork belly, calamari, and ravioli. Pork belly was amazing! I loved the sweet onion jam it was served with, and at $ 6 it was a steal! I’d return just for that. The calamari was good, though nothing spectacular. I had asked for the sauce on the side and was glad I did. I would have preferred a creamy-type sauce instead, but it was still ok. Ravioli was tasty, though I let my date monopolize that so I could concentrate on the pork belly! For my entrée I savored a perfectly cooked filet. It was well-seasoned and delicious! The baked potato wasn’t the best — not perfectly fluffy like I’d expect at a high end place — but still enjoyable. I also like the bread they served — the spiced butter was fantastic! Overall, would definitely come back, especially for the happy hour specials. I’d like to try the burrata, and I for sure want more of the pork belly!

Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like the food here is not as good as it used to be. Especially for the price. Honestly, my husband and I really didn’t enjoy our latest dining experience here. First off, they sat us at one of the corner booths and the table is too high up, or seat too low… I felt like a 7 year old. I asked to move to a regular table in the middle, which was better. The bread is good. They used to have some sweeter butter spread options we loved but we haven’t seen those in a while, I guess they don’t serve those anymore. My husband and I always get filet mignon, This last time I had to return the steak because we asked for medium and it was very rare(even the waiter agreed). And when they brought it back it was overcooked and tasted hard, I was afraid that would happen. Of course we weren’t sending it back a 3rd time. The Flemings potatoes were like, kind of crunchy… seemed like they should have been cooked more. What I did like… Service is good. Parking is easy and they offer valet. Nice décor and atmosphere, though sometimes it can be loud. The creamed spinach was good. The lobster was good, but just small. The waiter took it out of the shell for me. The carrot cake is awesome, although it seemed smaller than usual. I also did like their happy hour special the one time I went and the selections. So, that’s my honest review. We have been disappointed on our last few visits. We definitely felt like we wasted our money the last time we went. :(

Super disappointed with this place. It’s more expensive than the nice local restaurants and the food quality is poor. The food wasn’t bad but I could have been just as happy at Texas road house. This is the fancy version of j Alexander’s, the only difference, as my finance pointed out, is that service at Flemings is better, burnt also think j Alexander’s food is better. Drinks are 12 – 15 $ hahahaha this is not NYC. I will never come back here by choice. If you want to pay a lot for franchised food at least Capitol grill is better and their mac n cheese is amazing. We had wedge salad… Ok Onion soup… Good Filet w crab and shrimp… Meh 12 oz filet… Meh Mac n cheese… Ok Lava cake… I ate it all but the center was the saltiest thing I’ve ever had I had to mix it with ice cream and the cream they brought. The ganache tasted like they accidentally poured the salt shaker in there. The atmosphere is cheap too. Our server was nice.

So I know it is a chain, and we all know how I feel about chains… but I really like coming here for a nice glass of merlot and the carpaccio appetizer at the bar. They’re open until 10, which in this neck of the woods is «late,» so I end up here fairly often… especially when I’m leaving the horse show in Germantown. The crowd is a bizarre mix of businessman and single ladies and families but I like that the ambience has darker lighting for a more sophisticated mood with lots of wood. Yeah, I don’t know what I’m talking about either at this point. It’s classy, that is what I’m trying to convey. Bottom line: the food is good but expensive. The bar is reasonable for drinks and apps… especially happy hour.

Awesome staff and amazing filets. Get the pocket book out cause it adds up fast. Filet was amazing! NY strip was average and I’m confident I could have made one just as good. The service was so outstanding it made up for my average steak. Great for a special evening; get the filet!

We haven’t had drinks we haven’t loved at Flemings. We started tonight at happy hour in the bar with the French twist lemonade and debonair martini. Previous experiences have taught us that the blueberry lemon drop and the peach bourbon martini are also delicious happy hour options. With dinner we ordered the Hendricks prime martini which is completely worth it and paired well with steak. Our entrees were the in-bone Ribeye with lumped crab béarnaise sauce –which was phenomenal – as well as a seasonal vegetable pasta dish that was amazing(you’ll have to ask your waiter: it’s not on the menu). We ordered truffle parsley potatoes as a side and they were one of the tastiest dishes I’ve ever eaten. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and efficient. Overall excellent experience.

My wife brought me here for my birthday and we had a great time. The food was sensational and the service was polite and timely. It was a little loud for what I was expecting especially for the price we had to pay for the food. I would think that it would have been a much nicer atmosphere for the price and quality of the food. I am overall a little disappointed with the restaurant, but not the food.

We have somehow become Foodies. At dinner we compared our pressed chicken and pork chop to those from Houston’s and Jack Binnion’s. We enjoyed our meal with the pork chop being the clear winner of the evening. It was THE best we’ve ever eaten. Everything is a la carte so expect to pay. Salad was a poor lettuce mix but Scott loves the raviolis. Passed on dessert. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. Would love to try Happy Hour.

Great place for company outing or dinner with the family. Everything on the menu is delicious and worth the high price tag — even their onion rings! Just keep going so you can have a taste of the entire menu. The service is stellar — they really treat you like a special guest and cater to your needs and any special menu request.

In a word — underwhelming. We rarely ever eat at chains and we thought we would try another this week, since it had been months since our last chain visit. The staff was friendly with great service and the space was beautiful, but there was nothing unique about the place or the food. The salad was a bed of iceberg lettuce, the chicken was good and the steak was okay. I got the craftsman rib eye and some parts were rare and some parts were medium well. The outside sear and flavor was nice, but I have had much better steak. The Chipotle mac n cheese was really good. I don’t mind shelling out cash for a great meal, but this was just another chain that lacked character with average food.

We had a big group for happy hour. Staff did a good job of keeping up with orders and tabs. My first impression was influenced by burnt chips when we arrived, but the appetizer I ordered was so good. Burrata cheese, arugula ad tomatoes with balsamic vinegar. I would definitely return for happy hour.

First of all, Great experience there! Phenomenal service and amazing foods! I am a big Unilocaler person when it comes to restaurant research and recommendations. While pulling up fine dinning, both Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse&Wine Bar came up. Tell you what, it was definitely a difficult decision to make considering the ratings and comments are quite identical. So we decided to go to whichever one is close by to us and whichever one has available tables as it is Saturday night, yet we did not make any reservations. It was 6:50pm Saturday night, Ruth’s Chris Steak House was all booked and there were not any available table until 8:45pm, so, we decided to give Fleming’s a call and see if we could get any luck to get a table! Bam!!! Greeted by professional yet welcoming phone operator and got us a table right away within 10 minutes. Don’t get me wrong here; believe me, Fleming’s was packed, and we just got lucky to have a table. In the future, make sure you make a reservation before you go. Anyhow, back to the review part. We ordered seafood tower for two as our appetizer, Fleming’s house salad, Chef Special Tuna and Wild Salmon dish. Speechless! They are absolutely amazing! Their chef knows exactly how to prepare Tuna!!! Surrounding well prepared and slightly raw towards the center Job very very very well done! We have been to many fine dinning restaurants, and this is by far the best preparation for Tuna fish! Delicious and appealing! We needed our dinner with a light«Crème Brûlée» and decaf! Fulfilled our sweet craving without doing too much! Overall we really enjoyed our dinner there. Now, I want to take the time to recognize our server – Amanda!!! We always believe we can get good foods anywhere if we want to, however, at a fine dinning restaurant, a key part of it is its service! Amanda has showed her professionalism and knowledge in foods and customer service; she gives good and detailed recommendations on menu and wine selection, and she served us followed by great timely manner without being rushed or left alone, She was on Par from every single aspects and we were both very pleased! I usually don’t give 5 stars, but I couldn’t find any reasons why I shouldn’t give a 5 star to Flemings based on our experiences there! Definitely a highlight of our night! Would come back soon! Double Thumb Up! Keep up with the great work, Flemings!!!

Well, over the years, this had been our favorite steak place in Memphis… the food had been quite consistently good and the service invariably excellent, with the added bonus of Costco gift cards giving a nice 20% discount! However, the food has not been up to snuff the last few times… the last time was the final straw. Shrimp cocktail was $ 18.50 for four shrimp… as far as I’m concerned, there is absolutely no excuse for serving less-than-fresh shrimp(especially at those prices). Well, two of these critters had the telltale aroma of iodine and turned out to be inedible! The straw that broke this camel’s back however was the dry-aged ribeye that I ordered. I have eaten enough prime ribs and rib eyes to recognize the anatomy of the steak. I was served an 8in x 2.5in x 2in steak(overdone to a medium-well despite my medium-rare request). For $ 56.50, I was rather surprised to receive what looked and tasted like a NY Strip… there was even a strip of connective tissue on the edge. I could identify no eye and no cap. I pointed this out to the waiter(our usual server who we always request), but he insisted it was a ribeye… he checked in the kitchen and they insisted by their counts that it was a ribeye. If it was a ribeye, it was just about the toughest ribeye I have ever seen, dry-aged prime be damned. If they trimmed a ribeye to 2.5 in wide, the butcher should be shot… he obviously has no idea how to dry-age a piece of meat and trim it. Regardless, I was highly disappointed with my meal… it may be time to go to Ruths Chris and Capital Grille more.

Review is for the HAPPYHOUR only! A friend tipped me off on a secret two years ago that I’m sharing with you today: Flemming’s offers a 5 — 6 — 7 happy hour in the bar area. Five cocktails, five wines and five appetizers for $ 6 until 7pm. And they do mean bar area, no dining room no patio. There are five booths in this area so you either need to get there at 5pm or come at 6pm when the early crowd turns over. A small half wall separates you from the $ 50 steak high rollers. We sat at a bistro table in front of the wine cellar, this is a bit of a high traffic area so it’s not preferred. We got there at 5:30 and it was the last table left. The drinks are actually $ 6.90, which I think is a bit deceiving but hey, they’ve got to make their money somewhere. Sodas are $ 3.50 each. Our food selections were baked Brie, tenderloin carpaccio, prime burger and salt & pepper shrimp; All were delicious, and we could have done with only three.
