I come to Jerry’s every time I’m in town. They have an extremely diverse selection of snowcones that are often smooth enough to feel like water ice. The supremes, snowcone layered with soft serve, are to die for. My regular is tutti-frutti and tangerine sour(Yes! Anything can be made sour!) supreme. They limit the number of flavours in the winter time, but the ones that remain are still excellent. Their own creations like Tiger Blood and Legit are awesome. The best part of this place is definitely the burgers though. The barbecue bacon burger is one of the best I have ever had. It is juicy with a thick cut of cheddar cheese, served extremely hot, on fresh bread. They don’t overdo the BBQ, but you definitely feel like you have enough. The bacon is crisp and hot. Jerry’s is a classic, cash-only gem that is the best place since SnoCream Castle.

A little off the beaten path, but certainly a good find. Satisfied my summer craving for a flavorful sno-cone with cream… oh yeah, they serve food too!(Limited menu)

Be prepared to wait in a line if you go in the heat of the summer, but it is oh, so worth it! My favorite flavors are the orchid and guava supreme sno cones. Oh my word, good!

It’s 45 degrees outside and the line in front of Jerry’s is about a dozen deep. Most of those foolish enough to brave the elements have coats, parkas, or other winter gear and yet they’re still shivering and teeth are still chattering. I’ve been convinced by the entire city that slushies and soft-serve is a combination that I didn’t know I was missing, so i’m here to affirm the general view that Jerry’s is amazing. Well…count me amongst the non-believers. The truth is that slushies and soft serve makes for as bizarre a combination as I assumed it would. The rate of decay of the soft serve is much quicker than the slushie so, if you dont eat it fast, you end up with a weird creamy/ice water combo. If you eat it too fast, though, you end up with brain freeze. Bummer. If weird water milkshakes arent your thing, maybe the rest of the menu is for you. You probably wanna bring your glasses, get out of line, and go up to the menu that’s written in 3 point comic sans for maximum un-readability, though. If you wait till you can read the menu, chances are a line has formed behind you and the throng of angry people will quickly grow weary of you being indecisive. Pitchforks and flames will quickly follow. You dont want a prong in the booty, do you? Nobody likes that. In a final act of defiance against logical planning, the flavors of the slushies that arent cleary identified by the title(like Tiger’s Blood) have very nebulous descriptions. For instance: «taste like honeysuckle smells». Whaaaaa? What if honeysuckle smells like farts to me? Does it actually taste like honey or not? Stop playing with my olfactory senses! Here’s some friendly reccomendations for improving service: 1) enlarge the menu, replete with actual descriptions, and post it on the giant wall that has nothing on it so that people know what theyre ordering in advance of ordering. 2) Have a screen or electronic marqee that shows which order is currently available. 3) Make another service window. Ill be back to try the food, but im not quite drinking the kool-aid just yet.

OHHHHHHMAN. I dream about this place regularly and consider moving to Memphis(aka Big Jackson with the Grizz) just for Jerry’s. I initially found this place on Unilocal!2 plus years ago and have been in love ever since. The key to a good snowball is the perfect shaved ice and Jerry’s is so melt in your mouth smooth. You must get everything«SUPREME» — do this and you’ll be dreaming about Jerry’s too. Supreme means that possibly the best tasting vanilla soft serve in the world is perfectly layered within your snow cone. I am a fan of Wedding Cake supreme — which is red oddly enough, there is a white wedding but I don’t find it as good. Tips: cash only — make sure you have it before you get in line as there is no nearby ATM; also better to go in the daytime. Lines can be long, but put on your stretchy pants and skip dinner, it’s worth it.

I’ve had this place bookmarked since the day I moved to Memphis. Why did I wait so long. I’ve had sno cones from all across America but they have never tasted as good as this place. I’m not sure why or how they are so much better. Usually sno cones taste watery after the first couple of bites but not these. I’m glad I live so far away from here or else I might visit everyday. I got the wedding cake supreme flavor. My girl and I fought over it all the way home. Best sno cone we’ve ever had.

Didn’t think I would find my new favorite sno cone shack in Memphis, TN. And when I saw shack, it is indeed a shack! The surrounding area had me a little hesitant but I would definitely come back again and again for one of those bad boys. Now let get to talkin’ sno cones! (Singing) «SUGAR… Yes please!» I was in the mood for cake and ice cream. So this is what I did: I ordered half Wedding Cake and White Wedding(almond flavor). In addition I requested to «SUPREME» it up. This adds soft serve to your sno cone and makes one hell of a difference. What I enjoyed most about this sweet treat was that they put layers of ice cream through the sno cone – that’s right people, every bite will have ice cream! Call me a fat kid but I found that to be pretty rad! Who says rad these days? Anyways, give this place your biz!

If you’re in the Memphis area and you’re looking for a sweet treat, you’ve gotta try Jerry’s! Service is usually quick, but come prepared to stand in a long line of people on a hot summer day. $ 4 for each«supreme» — a medium snow cone with vanilla ice cream.

Old school, not clean, you wonder if your going to get shot, and its still the best darn Sno Cone. Dive City!!! Oh, stick with the Sno Cones. It doesn’t say Jerry’s Sno Cones and Tamales.

This is a Memphis staple. We come here all the time to snag a cone. Everyone recommends getting a sno cone supreme style, which means, with ice cream. Instead, we always get sno coneswith cream, which is sweetened condensed milk on top. And it is wonderful. Try it. Seriously. Go ahead, do it. Also, you CAN mix and match flavors, which if a sno cone place doesn’t do, it is a disgrace!

In honor of National Ice Cream Day, I have to pay my respects to Jerry’s! It’s probably the most popular place in Memphis during the summer and there is a reason why — deliciously crazy brain-freezing sno cones + ice cream and if you have space, satisfying greasy corn dogs, nachos and burgers. There are probably a gazillion flavor combos and you can just get a regular sno cone or make it a supreme which is soft serve mixed in(if you know what’s good for you, get a supreme!) My staple is wedding cake supreme(red almond flavored sno cone with vanilla ice cream) and it’s a winner. Also tasted tigers blood supreme(blueberry and raspberry with ice cream) and watermelon. Honestly I don’t think you could go wrong with whatever you order. Your summer’s not complete without a visit to Jerry’s!

Like snowcones or don’t like snow cones — you must try this place. The flavors are amazing. In the weekends we spent in Memphis this summer I had their nectar which taste just like fresh honeysuckle and their shrek which is apple with caramel drizzle. They are soft and fluffy and taste like clouds.

After a few super-sweltering days this week, I was craving a frozen treat, and Unilocal pointed me in the direction of Jerry’s. Normally I stick to midtown for, well, just about everything, but the reviews were SO enticing… I found myself shlepping(OK, not even sure this is a real word, but that’s what I was doing) out to Bartlett to see if Jerry’s lived up to the hype. Oh, yeah. It SO did! :) After a few minutes deliberating the seemingly ENDLESS array of flavors, I settled for an old favorite to test the mettle of the place. I ordered a Strawberry cheesecake with raspberry — supreme, of course! :) My fellow culinary explorer went with grape supreme. It was big-time nostalgia for me, with the beach shack colors and the no-frills vibe(not even bathrooms!), but mostly the simple delight of eating a frozen treat on a hot day. Ahh… memories. I finished my sno cone waaay too quickly and enjoyed every bite. I really struck gold, however — well, struck grape — when my friend was unable to eat even half of his. I happily«helped» out and discovered that grape is the way to go! It was like a grape creamsicle, another blast from my past. I can’t wait to go back — and get a grape all my own! Major negative — this place is not within walking distance from my home!!! :)

A Memphis must! If you are visiting and don’t go to jerrys, you haven’t visited lol. So many flavor options to choose from and don’t forget about making your sno cone a supreme(with ice cream). I come every week without fail. 5 out of 5

oh my… after 7 years of living in Memphis, I hate to report that I have only recently discovered this place. I’ve been missing out! Not only do they have every snow cone known to man but their hamburgers are real! I’m talking about huge patties cooked to perfection, fresh dressings and they add pesto to one of them.. it’s called the pesto burger ;) You know how I love pesto! Do wait! Go now!!! It’s lunch time and I know you’re hungry!!!

Yum! Yum! and Yum! Ice cream in the middle of a snow cone! Who would ever think to do that? Jerry’s Sno Cones, that’s who! When we drove up, the line was very long but it moved very fast. Everyone in line was very friendly. The lady in front of us clued us in on getting«supreme» snow cones which include the ice cream. Even though I don’t know her name, I love that lady! Ice cream is my biggest weakness! The girls working at Jerry’s were very nice and very hard working. A definite golden gem in this neighborhood!

There is nothing like a fruity snow cone on a hot summer day. But, how being able to get one. 365 days a year! This converted gas station has been making people happy for years with over 50 flavors. Add to that that they also have great burgers, snacks, etc. and what more could you ask for? Jerry’s is the best!!!

I just found out about this place a couple of weeks ago. Why aren’t there more Jerry’s Sno Cones locations??? I really didn’t know what to expect, but from the reviews I knew I was in for a treat! My brother-in-law and I went yesterday and previously a couple of weeks ago. We both think the sno cones are amazing, because these are not your regular sno cones. The sno cones are not icy, but smooth like a Italian ice/gelato mix. There are many flavors to choose from, but my love for cheesecake, persuaded me to get the strawberry cheesecake supreme(supreme is adding soft serve ice cream). My cup size was medium, and I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish it all but I ate every bit. Yesterday, I tried the food; a grilled cheese. It was ok… the bread was only brown on one side and the cheese wasn’t melted all the way(it’s like hey rushed through when cooking it). If my sno cone wasn’t so good, I would’ve had them to redo my grilled cheese. SO3STARSFORTHEFOOD!!! I will have to try something else and maybe my view on the food will change.

Warm weather is coming and that means Jerry’s in Memphis! I’m sure non locals just don’t get it but this icon is quite the hotspot. The line gets long but it’s worth the wait. Like everyone else says, get your sno cone supreme. I know, I didn’t think ice cream and sno cones went together either but they just do! I recommend TigersBlood, don’t ask me what’s in it, it’s just good. There’s a few things I have to gripe about here so hence the star deduction: 1. Cash only 2. No descriptions of flavors, I’m sure I’m missing out on something simply because I don’t know where it is 3. No place to sit:(
