Loose Goose

I’m thinking once was enough to check the place out. Not a huge fan but I have to admit that I was warned. Not someplace I’m likely to go again though certainly anything is possible. Reminds me a lot of a NJ dive bar but without the scenery and ambiance.

I don’t recommend! Came for a tiger basketball game. They were understaffed and the service was awful. All we got were excuses.

This place is pathetic. They claim to be the «place to watch the tigers» yet on game day they have three people working, one of which did more complaining then actually serving. I advise people to steer clear of this place on game day.

rreally disappointed. Extremely poorly managed. Here on game day and it has been 45 mins (not exaggerating) and still haven’t had my order taken. There is like 3 people and a bar tender working… which all appear to be clueless. I won’t ever come here again. TONS of better places in Memphis than this dive.

I love this place! Found it on a whim looking for karaōke one night. Kinda hidden so it doesn’t get a ton of traffic but the staff is super nice and attentive. Definitely a Cheers feel. I have gotten to know everyone. My favorite bartender Amanda is great and never leaves me with an empty glass. The owner Shawna (hope I spelled that right) is just fun and hangs out with ya even gets up to sing from time to time. Then there is Cowboy Jay the karaōke DJ… I have never followed a dj before but I just love him. He makes it super fun and has just about any song u can imagine. He doesn’t make you feel like you have to be a fabulous singer in order to participate like some dj’s do. The food for a sports bar us pretty darn good. Had one of the best hamburgers I have ever eaten there one of the first times I went. Wings are good and they have several sauces to choose from. My favorite is the sausage and cheese plate though it’s great to munch on while sipping your favorite beverage. One of my favorite things about this place is the smoking room. You cannot smoke in the entire bar which is nice cuz you can actually breathe the air in there. That being said the smoking room is comfy and large so it still doesn’t stay smoke filled and I end up spending a lot of time in there due to the couches that you could just fall asleep on. All in all if you are out in Cordova and wanna chill or let out your inner rock star stop by you wont regret it.

Great place to wait for while kids are skating next door. We’re sorry it took so long to try this place. We got there about 6:00 only a few people there. It’s not really a dinner place but they do have burgers, sandwiches and «baskets». Everything on menu is between $ 5-​$ 8. We had some wings and nachos, nothing to complain about its bar food. We watched the basketball game, played some pool, talk w/​the «regulars» and just had a good time. They have TV’s everywhere and are willing to change the channel. There is also arcade games and darts. Oh almost forgot! there is no smoking in the main part of the bar, but there is a smoking room with tv’s and I’m assuming when busy enough it’s own bar.
