Stopped for late lunch with friends. Ordered the pulled pork sliders. Way too sweet, no other flavor, just sweet. Took a long time for our order to come out. Our server was very nice and the bathroom was clean and cared for. Friends said their breakfast was good but noticed no one finished even half. Wouldn’t go back.

Never really been to a small town before my one week stay in Memphis. Not many food choices in the area but Mom’s Country Kitchen is a nice little café with a homecooking feel. After a disappointing potato pancake experience at another establishment, my friend James recommended Moms for their stuffed potato pancake breakfast. You get two big potato pancakes stuffed with sausage, onion, and peppers. Very filling, was only able to eat one and had to save the second for lunch. I came a second day and tried the corned beef hash, which came with house made and sliced corned beef, hash browns, two eggs and toast. Also a very good filling breakfast. Great and friendly wait staff. Benefits of living and eating in a small town.

Food is good and so was the waitresses. Unfortunately I had no choice to either leave a tip or not. I had every intention to but their checkout is digital and requires you to either choose 15% 20% 30%. I purchased a t-shirt which was added to the main bill which unfairly increased the price.
