With a place that delivers anything from pizza to steak or chicken with a baked potato, you can’t expect anything to be EXCELLENT. Imagine if Pizza Hut expanded their menu and delivered all the things that Tucker’s does. It would probably be gross. The taste of a comfort food is not necessarily why you’re craving that food, so it’s fine that nothing here tastes that great… its the idea of it that is satisfying. And at Tucker’s, you can have a large amount of that food delivered to your house in less than an hour with a few simple clicks online. And you can have it delivered pretty much all night long. Who doesn’t want to pig out in the comfort of their own home every once in a while without lifting a finger?

Another Tucker’s Night… and just as good as the last… had another blue plate… chopped steak cooked medium… flavorful and juicy, as well as lima beans, and a loaded baked potato. I also had a side of green beans. all good. I had some Mac n Cheese… kind of dry and not really too cheesy, like I like, but still good. And again, enough for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. This place has become a favorite for my light night delivery fix. definitely worth it.

This place was not good at all the two times I tried it. Order from Young Ave Deli if you want good delivery.

We got a veggie pizza with Alfredo sauce and some whole chicken wings. Excellent as usual. This place is ALWAYS busy.

Ordered two veggie burgers. Received two beef burgers well done. We ate them because we were hungry and waited an hour for the food. Well that was a mistake. We paid for it by spending the rest of our day sick. I threw up twice. I don’t know it I will ever be able to eat another hamburger. From any restaurant, not just Tucker’s. Oh yeah, they got our side items wrong too. They can keep the $ 20, but this place owes us a Sunday night.

I looked at the reviews before eating here, and really wanted to fall into the 4⁄5 star category. It is convenient to me and I wanted to love it. However, they had a pretty bad«food is not good» problem. I’ve ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the whole wings from Tuckers. The burger was way overcooked and the bacon was sort of broken up and piled on with a bunch of bbq sauce… maybe if it hadn’t been so overcooked this would’ve been fine with me. The whole wings were ok enough, but I ordered the«suicide» flavor and they just weren’t particularly hot… at all. I would expect some discomfort at very least from something labeled«suicide». I’ll allow for the possibility that they simply applied the wrong sauce, but that doesn’t really do much to improve the review. After looking back over what everyone had to say about this place, I think that my largest problem was not having them deliver the food to me at 3am(ie: after I’ve been drinking)… which seems to be one of this establishments greater virtues. That said, its really close to where I live and I do love wings and the other sundries on their menu so I’m sure I’ll go back and maybe have an awesome experience and revise this review.(Yes, I to understand the irony of giving a star rating saying I’d suggest nobody go there but say I’ll be back — just because I’d do this to myself doesn’t mean I’d wish it on others. Perhaps I’m a bad food masochist?)

I have been a Tuckers customer for over 2 years now… I order from them a few times a month. I have tried a little bit of everything and Tuckers has it’s good days and it’s bad. I have ordered their wings and they have been amazing… some of the best I’ve ever had, and then sometimes when they arrive they are greasy fatty and seriously almost inedible. Their burgers too… sometimes awesome and juicy, sometimes over cooked and dry. They mix things up a lot but if you call to let them know they will drive back and correct your order. My advice, when ordering delivery, be very very clear with your order, not in the bitchy way but make sure they have ur correct order in the computer. It will save you and them some time. Tuckers has their downsides which could be fixed with a little more consistency, but they deliver late… are not too expensive, and have always been nice to me.

I can not recommend Tuckers at all. After a bad experience with the owner, 2 years ago, over cold food. We thought we would try them again, they got the order totally wrong. We will not be ordering from there again.

Tucker’s has been slowly but surely going down hill for me. I was originally so enamored by the fact that they not only delivered, but till 3am no less, that I think I may have overlooked some issues. We’ve ordered from here on numerous occasions now, and each time I am less and less impressed. Tonight, however, took the cake. We ordered a chicken and a steak philly with french fries. Not only did it take 45 minutes for it to be delivered(they are literally a 5 minute walk from my house) but the sandwiches were just plain awful. The bread was complete mush– soggy in every sense of the word. The meat mixture on both sandwiches was 90 percent onions and green peppers and 10 percent meat. I had to pick half of it off my sandwich and once all was said and done, there was really nothing but bread and a couple hunks of meat. How did it taste you ask? Like they cooked everything in nothing but sugar. It was disturbingly sweet and pretty horrible. I would just take this worth a grain of salt and chalk it up to a bad day, but the past few times I’ve ordered from here it has taken longer and longer, the food isn’t all that great quality once it arrives and it’s pretty expensive. It cost $ 21 bucks with tip for those 2 sandwiches and fries. I would have much rather had McDonalds. I hope Tucker’s can improve whatever is going on here. It’s a shame they have such little competition in the way of delivery, because I assume a lot of their business is from folks who just don’t have any other delivery options.

The fact that this place delivers until 3AM contributes largely to my rating of it. Tucker’s serves a wide variety of food — a lot of bar food type appetizers, but also a couple regular dinner-menu entrees. The chicken options at Tucker’s are among the more appetizing sections of the menu. I think with such a huge menu Tucker’s commits the folly of being master of none. None of the food I’ve had here left me wanting more. If you’re up late and have the munchies, Tucker’s for delivery is a great option. I think of it in the same way people think of Taco Bell late nights — you cannot go wrong if you’re just wasted and want to munch on something — if this is the case, you will love Tucker’s. I think of Tucker’s as a college student’s best friend. I don’t see how they can appeal to any other demo. Their food is Okay, not awful. It’s just not particularly good. Definitely order from Tucker’s before you order from Camy’s.

I didn’t have the same experience the last reviewer did — possibly because I ordered mine via delivery. The food took 75 minutes to arrive(to be fair, they did warn us that it may take up to 75 mins, I just didn’t really expect them to max that!) and it arrived cold, soggy and… err… okay. 2 stars because they deliver, till 2am no less! Not enough establishments in Memphis practice that!
