Vera is a miracle worker. I am posting a picture of my hair nearly five weeks after my last haircut and color. My hair is fine, stick-straight and I have cowlicks in back. To get this look I only spend about 15 – 20 minutes including blow dry and straight iron. She is an artist!

I met Vera when she was working at another salon. She opened her own place, and I love it. She’s a very good stylist, but her salon offers something that most others don’t. The Miracle Wrap, where you lose inches, and makes your skin feel fantastic. You feel lighter, and much less bloated. I was doing these for awhile, then stopped because it’s not a cheap procedure, and I tend to need several months worth. Some lucky folks just need a couple of visits. You are basically mummified for a half hour or less, in the mineral soaked wraps. It’s good to move around while you’re in the wrap. I’m going to start this up again, cause I really miss it, and always feel like a million after it. It’s $ 110 or $ 90 per session if you get on the 4 – 5 plan. It’s not a procedure that just anyone can do or offer, you need someone specially trained, for the Miracle Wrap. It’s so worth it. Remember to bring extra underpants with you because you leave those on. It’s an improved treatment and takes less time then before. What a way to love yourself. This is the last review for the Underdog Challenge, and I wanted it to be as special a place as the first.

I bought a certificate back in November for 4different visits to this salon for under 50dollars. The 4visits contain one for a hair cut, mani or pedi, coloring, and facial. They are all mini versions of the real thing but you can always upgrade it to the full version for a few bucks more. I forgot about it until last month and since its expiring the end of March decided to book everything. Its hidden away in a small strip mall you would never know its there unless someone told you. Parking is a pain unless you find one right by the salon otherwise its a weird layout where you have to walk around the mall(its outside btw which isn’t fun during winter). I’m glad I got introduced to this salon because Vera the owner is a sweet lady with what seems like a Russian accent she could be your grandmother but she does a great job with her facials. Leaving you refreshed and with a super soft face, Plus the stuff she used on me smelt really nice fruity! Alicia who does the hair portion is very friendly and did a great job asking what I wanted to be done with my hair and followed through with it. The salon is very small about 2 chairs for haircuts, one table for nails and a small room for the spa portion but the employees devote their work to you. The pricing since I got the certificate deal is inexpensive and I would say average price is the same for everywhere else offering the same services. I’m amazed that this wasn’t on Unilocal assuming that they just opened but that wasn’t the case apparently the salon has been around for almost 6years pretty crazy.
