Sometime ago, I encountered my dream bike. A 1973 CL125s. The bike was running rough to say the least, and it didn’t take long to discover that the repair was far out of my league. After calling every cycle shop in 50 miles and being denied for my bike being too old, I finally called Borelli and was suprised to hear that he’d take it on. It took almost a year to aquire all the parts needed for it, which on a bike that old is a serious undertaking. During this time, the bike was completely stripped, rebuilt, reassembled, and tuned until finally it was running again. All told, the bill came to just about 1k. For the amount of work put into the bike(including nearly 40 hours of labour), a thousand dollars in an astonishingly low number. As for the bike, it ran better than anything I’ve ever ridden after he finished. Driving past the shop, you’ll see just how diverse his mechanical knowledge is. There are generally a dozen assorted motor vehicles of all types and ages congregated around the shop door. Be you a dirtbiker, quadder, racer, goon, or highway rider, Gary will fix it and fix it well.
