Breakfast House Los Tejabanes

We went here for breakfast on a Sunday. We had a party of 7 and they sat us in a booth where we were pretty squished, we didn’t mind because we were hungry. I am only giving a 2 stars because the food was ok. Worst Service! The waitress acted like she was doing us a favor rather than her job. My kids are super polite and every time she handed them something they would all say a cheerful «thank you» and she replied nothing, not even a «you’re welcome» or at least a smile (come on it’s kids saying thank you!) She was a total jerk! Most of the servers looked like they were working for free because they looked so unhappy and rude. Maybe if the service were better I’d want to come back.
Not traditional Mexican either, who the heck puts cheddar cheese, guacamole and pico de gallo on Chilaquiles? Those are nachos people!!! Oh and my shrimp cocktail tasted good but only had 6 shrimp in it. What a rip off!!!
Any way I’d rather drive a bit more and get myself a good traditional Mexican restaurant with well mannered waiters.

Terrible… Came here to buy shrimp cocktails for myself and coworkers. We were super excited because it sounded so good. I get to the restaurant, pick up the food and take it back to the office to «enjoy» well turn out that all the cocktails only had literally 5 shrimp inside!!! This is a 15 $ cocktail and they only put 5 shrimp inside? This explains the mountain of frackers that were included. NEVER AGAIN, looks like my office and staff will have to find another local Mexican food place…

Wow! This place is fantastic! Love the atmosphere, the food, and the excellent attention/​service. Pancakes for lunch? You can get breakfast here all day and it’s amazing. Check it out when you can!

Best eggs Benedict around! The food is ALWAYS great, but we have had to wait a while a few times when they got slammed. We just go when it is not the breakfast rush and there is no wait. The breakfast is fantastic, and prices are very reasonable.

Pleasantly surprised by this little gem in Menifee/​Wildomar area.
We were greeted right away by a young male hostess. Once seated, our drink order was taken immediately (this almost never happens for us). I was bummed they don’t have any aguas frescas, but not a deal breaker.
I couldn’t decide between the Monte Cristo (on the board specials) and the Bananas Fosters french toast so I asked the waitress who commented that the french toast is really good.
I was happy I went with her choice. The french toast was soft and moist. The bananas with brown sugar sauce was decadent. You dont even need to use syrup but they bring it none the less.
The menu is huge. Mainly lunch and dinner options. I look forward to going back and trying more dishes.

The food here is excellent and my only complaint is that it’s not open for longer! The service is great and you can tell they care about their customers.

This place is great. Have yet to be disappointed here. Great breakfast combinations, friendly service, fair prices, excellent serving sizes and tasty food. Well worth it if you haven’t been or plan on being in the area.

Very nice. Interior pretty. Food tasty. Prices reasonable. Lovely service by NANCY. Busy but quiet hushed so enjoyable. Open til 9 PM.

Close by and didn’t have to wait to be seated. Menu is lacking breakfast combinations but my cheese omelet and potatoes were good. Not a five star place to me but overall a good experience.

My sister and I had breakfast here this morning and its our first time eating here. Staff were pretty attentive. Food is awesome.

Stopped for breakfast en route to Big Bear. Nice to have no wait time, unlike our first two potential spots in Temecula. Service was friendly, and they took our order right away. Did take awhile to get our food, but it was good, and portions really large. Breakfast potatoes, hash browns, ham and carne Asada burrito were all really good. Worth a stop!

Stopped in on our way to Big Bear, and we were surprised with no wait. The service here was wonderful, but it did take about 20 minutes until or food arrived. This place is great for kids. The kids menu was very generous, and they allowed us to order anything off of the kids menu, including lunch and dinner at breakfast time. Also, most of the items on the kids menu were around $ 3.99, an amazing deal if you ask me.
The serving sizes are about average, and the ham is a must-​have. The rice is also delicious, among other things to order such as the Carne Asada Breakfast Burrito, and the Country Breakfast. Above all the prices were great with meals averaging about 7 – 10 dollars. Make sure to check in to get a 15% off discount.

Came here after a good friend recommended it and boy was she rite. It was delicious we had an amazing time and will definitely be going back.

This place is awesome. I give them 5 stars for a few reasons: the food is always fresh and delicious, the service is consistently excellent (family owned and operated), and they are very reasonably priced. I tend to choose their Mexican dishes, but their American dishes are good too. They serve breakfast all day (sweet!) but also have lunch and dinner items. This is our go-​to breakfast joint after Sunday church. Love them!

Came upon this place after church service one Sunday for breakfast:
Pros: it’s still a relatively unknown place so we had no wait and place was not empty but not too full either.
They serve a complimentary sort of deep fried tortilla with cinnamon and sugar– kind of like a banuelos– as you wait for your food. My kids loved this and couldn’t stop eating it.
They have an extensive menu with lots of great breakfast choices
Cons: for a restaurant that was new, and not so full, the service was awfully slow. We got seated right away, but our server took almost 12 minutes to greet us. (Yes, we are former restaurant management ourselves so we were well aware of the time elapse) Then she greeted two other tables AND took their orders — and they were seated well after us, before she even got to us. Secondly, once the food came we never were checked up on again and we had to flag down a bus boy for drink refills.
The management/​owners are friendly and seem to want to hustle their wait staff, which is great, but either their wait staff is still really green or they just don’t care enough.
We will come back again, because the food was decent. Hopefully our service is better!

This stop is very worthwhile! Extremely clean restaurant and the bathrooms as well.
The food I could tell was cooked with allot of skill and love. And why? Because I can tell they care about their customers. Waiters are extremely patient and well versed on the menu. The food was served quickly and don’t sit under burners. Very professional team. I don’t live in the county but I definitely will drop by on my way to and from Vegas from San Diego. So if you want great tasting food this is the place to go when on a road trip.

–It tastes delicious like a Carne Asada burrito with eggs. The ingredients look fresh (noticed slices of avocado).
Overall taste is great and feels good.

A very large menu with lots of options. Can order any item (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) at any time.
The only downside is it is a bit more expensive. My burrito cost 8.99. With a 15% discount usable only once with Unilocal,it came out to 8.25. If you eat at the restaurant and with tip, it’d be about $ 12 for a burrito with a side. It’s a bit expensive in my opinion, but it is a great burrito.

Awesome place! It’s family run and the food is delicious. They have a large section of Mexican food to pancakes to omelets. I loved their chilaquiles!

Love this place it’s tucked away off Scott rd my boyfriend and I love going to this place for a good mechelada.
Complimentary chips and salsa and at breakfast complimentary churro type bread. It’s amazing.
Service is always great nice interactive people.
Food is good wish the would make the carne chunks a lot bigger and would like more meat in my burrito.
Make sure if you want fish tacos to specify witch ones you’d like or you get what they think you want.
Usually pretty busy around breakfast.
If you’d like to come when there is less people I’d say a little after lunch and you’re good till dinner time comes around.
Prices are descent.
Shrimp cocktail could use a little more shrimp and a little more flavor.

Whenever I’m in the area visiting my peeps, I love to come and bring the family here and treat for breakfast. I’ve been here about 5 times and ordered something different every time and have been overjoyed with my food. I really appreciate consistently in a restaurant and I feel I never have to worry about that with this restaurant.
The chips and salsa are simply amazing.
I get the big breakfast combo. Eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, toast & pancakes. A lot of bang for your buck.
I always leave here happy and hunger satisfied
I really wish I could eat there every mornin but i would easily be 100 pounds heavier if I did that. They also have healthier options on the menu for you health nuts. Just give it a try.
