Centex Homes – Summerhouse at the Lakes

The worst experience you can imagine. Zero communication from the builders agent Nancy Waller. When our contingent property didn’t sell and we were unable to close on our home NO ONE would respond to us about returning our deposit. I was pregnant and delivered our child at the same time we fell out of escrow and spent hours emailing and calling anyone at this builder with little to no response. When we finally did get a response they said they would not return our deposit because THEIR agent wrote the contract wrong (not contingent) and surprise surprise 6 months of trying and I still have never received a response from Nancy.
On top of all this I referred a friend while we were in escrow and «sold» the property right next to the lot we were in escrow on. This escrow closed… No incentive and still no return of our deposit. My husband is a US Marine and we were using our VA loan… To penalize a VA buyer because they couldn’t sell their current home and keep their deposit is a whole different level of evil.
BUYER BEWARE!!! Horrible customer service, no one takes responsibly, and worse than anything, no communication.
I work in the industry and personally have NEVER worked with such an irresponsible agent or company for that matter.
Maybe by posting in several public forums I may one day get a phone call back. I won’t hold my breath.
