Fastest and easiest u — haul experience I’ve ever had. Great customer service, definitely using this location in the future!

Unfortunately, this one of the most difficult truck rentals we have ever experienced. Even with a pre-​reserved truck, we waited for 45 minutes because it is a storage and rental facility and the pre-​reserved truck did not save any time. It was still a first come first serve system. Upon returning the truck they charged $ 75 in fees without any explanation. At first, they said it was a cleaning fee. Then, they claimed it was gas charge. After a couple of months of investigating and proving those were inaccurate, they claimed the keys were locked in the truck and it was a «key cutting» charge. We have never locked a rental truck key in the truck because we know the routine, but that is not really the core issue. The issue is simply poor customer service from start to finish. By not disclosing the charge, then incorrectly describing the charge, they appeared to be very disorganized. BE CAREFUL. When it comes to things like this, you may find the customer-​service is severely lacking. They avoided the calls, routed everything to the main UHaul Customer Service Center, and failed to communicate with us throughout the ordeal. This is NOT the kind of experience we are accustomed to with U-​Haul. Instead, this was a location problem and you need to be on your guard. It is very frustrating to learn of «added charges» by having to review your statement a month after the fact.

Customer service was incredible!!! We had the worst customer service EVER at the U-​Haul location in Ohio (9178 Colerain Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45 251) where we got a hitch installed and collected a trailer. We got better and cheaper deals from opposing companies before. Should have rather gone with those? Drop off at this location in Menifee was excellent. Employee was super helpful and I highly recommend this location. 5 Stars!!!

DO NOT EVER RENT A TRUCK FROM THESE PEOPLE! COMPLETE RIPOFFS! They tell you one price and NEVER speak to you about the terms and conditions. Then at the end they take you for all your worth! They never showed me anything or teld me anything required about maintenance for the truck. He just handed me the keys and said here you go.
The next day I get to my email and they charged me DOUBLE what they had told me that I was going to pay! I will never use U-​Haul again! When I called about the bill they told me too bad and that they would give me a cert for money off the next time I use them. What a joke!
