HH Gregg

Next stop on «Tour de Mentor Ave Mega Box Store Strip» is HH Gregg. The purpose of my trip east was to bring my mom’s stuff from storage at my sister’s house — that included a stereo but not the speakers.
«We’ll just go to Greg’s» she kept repeating. «Who is Greg?» I asked. OK, now I know who Greg is — it’s HH Gregg, a regional big box chain staffed by tall skinny 19 year old boys in shirts with ties. This particular shop was pretty much empty when we went in to look for a cheap-​o set of speakers for my mom.
I tried to talk her into just ONE speaker since she’s deaf in one ear and can’t hear in stereo anyway but she swatted me — in public!
For under $ 30 we were able to get speakers that were compact and which will do the job — and — hey — even if one blows out, she will never know!
