Since I bought my house over 15 years ago, there has been a severe gap between one garage door and the floor which allowed leaves and debris to be blown in. It never felt like I could keep up with sweeping.
The crew, Danila & Ang showed up right at 8:00AM sharp and got right to work. The guys did a fantastic job and the «before» and «after» pictures included in the final invoice definitely tell the story. I could not be more pleased with the result!

We hired Matvey to pump up our driveway as it had sunk and caused a tripping hazard. They came out while we were at work and sent us the invoice to the work they had done on the neighbor’s house two doors down. We caught the error through the photos of a home that was not our own and a crack that was a fraction of the work of our order. They apparently apologized to my husband for the mistake and rescheduled the work to be done 3 days later. We originally timed the construction to be completed for our realty listing photos, but had to push listing our home back due to the mistake on their end.
Although the driveway looks better than it did before, I am not satisfied with the work. There is still a tripping hazard where the driveway meets the front steps, as the concrete remains unleveled. Also, the filler they used is an eye sore. They did not fill the cracks (said I was due to rain) They also charged us an additional $ 175 more than what we were quoted for. We would have been better off having the driveway completely replaced.

Sometimes things don’t go well & that’s when you need a reliable contractor. Our job at The Carwash of Port Townsend to pump up a concrete pad didn’t work satisfactorily, mostly due to thickness of the concrete. Rose worked with us to give a partial refund that worked for me and I think for them. In the end I had to replace the pad & Matvey helped me. With a part of it.

After three months of anticipation, the work on our retaining wall was completed. We had some communication issues, but at the end of the day, Matvey stood behind their work, and we had a fulsome discussion that resulted in a satisfactory compromise. Mat is willing to stand up for his workers, but he recognizes the importance of customer service.

Had a good experience with Matvey. There was an apparent mix-​up on the bid, which could have caused a problem, but Matt called me for more info. He made things right and his crew did a fantastic, efficient, complete job. I am happy with the results. I would recommend them to my friends.

After receiving the estimate, I became very busy and was not able to discuss with them further. They followed up with me, and I told them that I was busy and would need more time to review the estimate. They understood, and didn’t push me. I really appreciate their patience.
I finally reviewed and contacted them two months after I received the estimate. They not only honored me the original price, but also gave me some discount. They also worked with me to schedule a time that worked for me.
During the work, the crew were very courteous. They explained their job, and walked through everything with me at the end of the project. I am very satisfied.

Updating this rating since we did receive a full report of the work completed and warrantee details this week, along with an apology for the time it took to get to us and explanation (they’ve had a full plate, including doing some work on Bertha) and a complementary upgrade to a 75 year warrantee.

Matvey was awesome to work with. They gave us an initial bid to lift and stabilize a corner of our house, but the job ended up taking 3 times as long, but he kept his word that they would honor the original price. We had another company Robbins that walked away from the job. On top of that their crew worked their tails off the entire time. Matvey Cote, the owner is an engineer and is incredibly knowledgable. They also helped figure out our drainage issues. I highly recommend them. Again, we talked with 3 other companies, but I really liked Matvey’s professional approach and their bids were less expensive than the unreliable competition.
