Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham Hartford Meriden

I was only in for a quick stay but really loved this hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. Unlike many hotels, apparently Hawthorn takes a lot of pride in keeping things up do date.
Loved having a kitchenette and the Wi-​Fi was strong and fast, allowing me to eat in (instead running to a restaurant) and get work done at the same time.
The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in. The breakfast area was well stocked, clean and an employee was in the area making sure everyone was taken care of. Another pleasant surprise was the fitness center offered more options than most hotels.
I was thrilled with this hotel and if work sends me back to the region I’ll definitely stay at Hawthorn again.

I stayed here on business a couple of nights ago on business and loved this place. Everyone made you feel welcome. If I had to grade the hospitality I would give it an A+. I also liked the rooms –very clean, super comfy beds, and very little noise. The Wi-​Fi was fast and the bathroom was fully stocked. The property was very well maintained and I would definitely comeback.

I stayed at this property for one night and had an overall good experience. The staff was friendly, the room was spacious and relatively clean, and the free breakfast was fine.

Cons: Found several hairs in the shower and throughout the bathroom, cleaning staff could do a little better job, breakfast was fine but nothing spectacular

Quiet, tree lined location about a city block from I-​91. Courteous staff. Clean property and nice kitchenette in room. Front desk was busy and my single room needed housekeeping. Clerk/​manger moved the line quickly seeing to each guests’ needs and engaged with me on my room status. Within 5 minutes my room was available so no far no foul. Would stay again.
