Matt Lagana was helpful and showed us around to the exact kind of couch we described. My wife and I couldn’t decide between a few different couches and he made copies of the couch plans with measurements included. I called two weeks later and he made ordering the couch easier than ordering a pizza. Very helpful and easy-going.

I have been buying furniture from Liberty Lagana for nine years now. All of our indoor furniture comes there. Matt, Joe and staff have always gone out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Ashley seems to be the best selling brand here. They have in house financing with easy monthly payments at a very reasonable interest rate. Delivery is always free. They will place the furniture in the room(s) you choose but you must set up yourself. Most of the furniture is one-piece but sometimes I had to attach the feet on a couch or screw in legs on a table. Ashley makes it extremely easy to assemble with very few steps and comes with easy instructions. For me, the minor assembly is worth saving a hundred dollar delivery fee like other stores. The showrooms are pretty big considering the size of the building. What they don’t have on the floor can be found in the catalogs. I like the no-pressure sales approach they have. You can tell Matt what you are looking for and he will show you what he has or will give you the appropriate catalog) s) and you can plop yourself down on a comfy couch and take your time perusing the pages for your next purchase. If something is not in stock there is usually no more than a two week wait or less. Check out their website there is a ton of stuff to look at.

Liberty Lagana is an Ashley Furniture dealer. Not sure if they do other brands, but everything in their showroom and catalog appeared to be Ashley. Definitely ask questions about the construction of any given piece. While most Ashley furniture is beautiful and high-quality, there are some flimsy fiberboard items too, so be careful. We found a wonderful solid wood dining set, the«Whitesburg,» which included a table, six chairs, and a large beautiful sideboard/buffet table. $ 1050 straight up. Tax and delivery included. It’s nice to be quoted a real price, and not an artificially low price that slowly climbs after various fees and charges. (Bob’s, are you listening?) Matt Lagana is very professional, and never aggressive with his sales technique. But his underlings could use a lesson in dressing appropriately for work. There were two other salesmen on the floor, and I honestly didn’t even think they worked there at first. Jeans, sweatshirts, baseball caps… not exactly the attire one expects when making 4-digit purchases. It’s not a huge concern, but it bears mentioning. Bob’s is still the king when it comes to price, but Lagana has a much greater selection, the ability to negotiate, and free delivery. A worthy competitor indeed.
