Food ok service left something to be desired. We ordered a beer based on the tap handles and the girl didn’t know what we were talking about. Went on a Tuesday afternoon they were not busy in the least yet food came luke warm and beer took awhile. I guess its an ok choice if your just passing through.

We went to O’Charley’s because we’d had a very pleasant experience for a chain that we don’t usually see on our trip to VA when we went through Tennessee. On our return trip, we arrived at this restaurant in Meridian, MS about 8:45 on Monday night for a drink & getting takeout. Place was virtually empty… yet no one acknowledged our presence for several minutes until someone came out of the kitchen area. We went to the bar & no one was there for several minutes either. Finally someone came, served drinks & took our takeout order. After 25ish minutes, order arrived. We paid & left as we’d been there awhile. When we arrived at our hotel, we realized that none of the sides for the baked potato had been included. Food was mediocre at best. My advice is to avoid this particular link in the «chain.» UGH! Scratch that… just tasted a chicken strip… almost completely dry… very dark brown in color.

I got the crabs cakes and they are the best I have eaten in years. Hubby got the full rack of ribs and they were delicious. Every time we go I say I will order something different but always get the crab cakes.

We were nervous about eating here after reading the previous reviews. We went anyway and were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken salad and enjoyed the various flavors. The mixed greens were fresh and the honey mustard complimented well. Keysha who was working the bar was our server and made sure our beverage glasses were full and that our food was hot when served.
We had a peanut allergy in our group and the staff was great in making sure there was no cross contamination.
I enjoyed my lunch and would dine here again.

It’s a great place been there almost a 100 times. They have the best rolls in town. I can’t see why many people frown on it. I live in meridian so I frequently go. It’s a great place to eat with the family or by yourself. I have seen it packed before but not usually. I recamend a steak. I don’t eat salad and never recognize any staff either

I’ve always liked O’Charley’s on the few occasions I’ve had to visit one, but this one was a big disappointment. When we were seated, we were told that the bread wasn’t ready yet (we finally got it when we asked for it near the end of our meal). The service was slow and inaccurate. I had ordered a salad with iceberg lettuce, but it came with mostly romaine, and so late that I had barely started on it when the entrée was delivered. I didn’t expect my chicken fried steak to compete with any in Texas, but it was worse than expected, and my wife’s catfish was undercooked. Despite the gravy being watery, I asked for more because the «steak» was so dry. The waitress returned with brown gravy instead of «sausage gravy,» but that turned out to be a good thing; since it was much thicker and more flavorful than the other.
I will not return to this location.

I’m not going here again unless someone drags me. Everything tastes the same. That is saying a lot when you are talking about pot pie, rolls, butter, and a drink. How do they do that? Why do they do that?
OK the salad was good.
I will not be back.

Restaurant was nice, our server was great, and the food was good. They were really busy, but we did not have to wait long for a table or our food. I had the french dip sandwhich, husband had the better cheddar burger, kids had the kids steak meals. Everything was hot and just the way we ordered it. They even took the 20% off coupon that I had with no problem. Was a great experience and very affordable for our family of 7.

We came as a party of 16 and got to our table fairly quickly. Me and my wife love coming here but after this experience we may never again. We ordered our appetizers and they came out only about after 10 – 15 min later. We then waited for another 45 – 60 min for our entrees. The server was amazing and I’m certain it wasn’t her fault. The people around us that had sat down way after we got there was getting there food and had left before we got ours. Very poor service in the kitchen.
