Great place to grab a sandwich for breakfast or lunch… my daughter loves the steak tips so I grab those every so often to throw on the grill for dinner… all the prepared foods are pretty good as well.

I can’t fathom why some of the other reviews are bad on here. The service was great and the people were SO friendly! They had a huge selection of fresh meats, steaks, and more. They had some really tasty-looking pre prepared dishes you can throw in the oven for dinner after work. My only complaint is that I wish the sandwich bread was homemade. They’re just the generic rolls. That would put the sammy’s over the top!

Very disappointed I normally wouldn’t complain but the customer service was horrible. The older gentleman was very rude while talking my order. The younger staff was great. I will not return or reccomend this deli.

I went here and had a simple egg salad and chips. The staff is very friendly and the food was good. I checked out the it meat selection and found it to be superb.

I have been to Franks many times over the years. The steak tips are pretty good but everything else in the meat section appear to be dried out. My number one complaint is with the owner. He is not friendly. Case in point, one day I was in there during lunch time to buy steak tips. I realized I was being bypassed so I mentioned it to the owner and he informed me in an unfriendly tone that he had to take care of the lunch time crowd who were purchasing items from the sandwich menu. Every time I see the guy he is always unfriendly. About six months ago I finally vowed never to step foot in Franks again. It’s to bad because as I previously mentioned the steak tips are pretty good.

First time here… I’m liking it so far. Order: Italian sub w/everything, hold the mayo add oil & seasoning + hots. I think they forgot the oil & seasonings… but the sub was still very good. The roll was fresh… wasn’t the typical sub roll I was expecting(softer that what I expected) but it was very good. The ingredients seemed very fresh… I would have liked a little more quantity with the meat… but I would sacrifice quality for quantity any day. Overall…a great little place hidden in the back of a NH strip mall… worth finding.

There food is good, but not good enough to deal with the unfriendly women that make the food. I go in there at least twice a week and I’ve never seen them smile at anyone. It’s more like«tell me what you want and get out» I believe I’ll start taking my business elsewhere.

The is a sandwich shop with convenient store amenities(pop, beer, chips, sides). I ate here while traveling for work. Had a delicious Ruben sandwich. It was the smallest Ruben I have ever had, but it was priced appropriately and very good.

This is my favorite place for lunch in Merrimack. The burgers are ground sirloin and they have Cooper cheese(which is a sharp American cheese. Yes a sharp American). Ask for the«Cooper Burger» by name. If you’re in more of a cold sub kind-a-mood, Frank’s roasts their own turkey breast & roast beef. Or you can choose from a large selection of Boar’s Head products. Frank’s also dubs as a butcher shop offering quality meats and fresh prepared meals to-go. You can buy a sub for lunch and steak tips and potato salad for supper. You can even get their marinated steak & chicken in a sub. Their chunky steak and cheese is ever bit as good as Nadeau’s. Don’t eat here if you have outstanding warrants because Frank’s is frequented by law enforcement and staff from the court. Otherwise, enjoy your meal in the dining area or take it to go. BREAKDOWN Food — 5 Portion — 4 Staff — 4.5 Venue — 3.5 Compares to — Bull Run, MacKinnon’s, local deli,

This is a long distance review for the sandwiches. My spouse grew up in Merrimack and took me here on one of our visits back home. Delicious! Every time we go back out I make him take me to Franks. I’ve even tried to get his brother to carry a sandwich for me on the plane when he comes to visit, but he won’t go for it! I’m willing to acknowledge part of the reason I love it may be because I can’t have it, but it’s still good enough for me to dream about it at night!

Frank’s Place is tucked away at the back end of a strip plaza adjacent to CVS/Florence’s. This place is a meat market which offers a long butcher counter, a selection of heat & serve foods(comfort dishes), cold prepared salads, grab & go subs, a small seafood counter in the back and a small selection of miscellaneous food items. The full service deli counter in the front offers made to order subs using Boar’s Head meats, most 10″ subs are around $ 6, and hot breakfast and lunch items as well. Soups(self serve) are also available. Order at the counter and pay at the across the store register. Seating is available for eating in. I originally stopped in here to pick up some meat to put on the grill for later. However, some of the meat did not look as fresh as I’d like including the chicken and tips, which look like it was sitting around a while and dried out, so I decided to take a pass. For my lunch for later on, I did order a Seafood Salad Sub($ 5.75 plus tax) with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, which was made pretty quickly around breakfast time. The sub was pretty decent, really stuffed with plenty creamy seafood salad and garnishes in a soft sub roll(I measured 9″). I would stop in here again, but only if I happened to be in the area, and have a sitdown breakfast or lunch.
