One thing I do not like about living in Florida is that there are no Papa Gino’s restaurants where I live. So, every time I go back to NH to visit family, I insist on getting Papa Gino’s pizza. This past visit, I got it twice. Both times was awesome! Hubby had a steak and cheese on one visit, and loved it. Garlic bread was awesome, too! Can’t wait to visit NH again!!!

So after a long day at work, I decided to order some food online to be delivered to my house when I got home. I figured Papa Gino’s because it was the most convenient and I had just moved to the area. I ordered, got confirmation of my order and headed out for the day. I got home around 20 minutes later and my roommate told me that our food hadn’t showed up yet. Waited another 20 minutes and still nothing. I decided to then call the store and find out where my order was. The kid on the phone seemed confused and asked me for my address and phone number at least four or five times, then proceeded to tell me that I «probably picked the wrong store.»(Which wasn’t the case) I checked my account to see that they had taken the funds but the kid didn’t really seem to care. I asked if I could speak with the manager because I wasn’t about to pay another $ 35 but he said that no one was there and I could just reorder the food and pay for it or I would have to call the 800 number on Monday(it was Friday afternoon). I offered to go to them to show them that the money had been taken out but he claimed that he couldn’t do anything about it. At that point, I was so annoyed I just decided to order again and proceeded to wait another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. When it got there, the sub was horribly put together with two sad slabs of cold cuts, the cheese was hard on the edges and the bread was stale and dry. The«buffalo» chicken barely had any sauce on it and it just looked like they were. The pizza was fine, but how can you really mess that up? I will never go here again. Poor service and even worse and disappointing food. I also called the 800 number and instead of offering to credit my money back, they tried pushing a gift card on me. No thanks! I eventually, after speaking with three different people, ended up getting the refund. It took them almost 3 weeks to refund it and over an hour on the phone with their horrible customer service reps. For that horrible hassle, I will absolutely never return.
