Yeah, I’m done with this location. I never had an issue with my order(except when I asked one of the workers why I couldn’t get a family meal without thighs, even if I am paying full price for the meal). He told me that even if I am paying full price I still could not get the pieces that I wanted. WTF? Ok, so even after that idiotic conversation, I continue to patronize this location until I went there and placed my order thru drive thru, as usual. I give them my credit card and they tell me to go park since they are cooking up fresh chicken. The girl comes to my car and tells me there is something wrong with my credit card. While she is standing there, I pull up my B of A account and it CLEARLYSHOWS, the money for my order was debited out of my account. So, she tells me to pull up to the window and talk to the manager. Well, I show the manager my cell phone with my account information. She closes the window and then comes back and says that something is wrong with the register and it does not show my transaction. Ok, I tell her again that the amount is being taken out of my account and I am not driving off without my damn food. So, she stands there smiling like an idiot and I am getting madder and madder. She then asks me if I would like for her to call their bank to see what the problem is. No, I want you to continue to stand there and do nothing. I honestly believe she would’ve let me drive off, without my order if I hadn’t told her I wasn’t going anywhere without my order. Since the manager was clearly an idiot, I call my bank and get them to cancel the transaction. At least B of A was professional and handled my issue correctly. I have not been back to this Popeyes since.

The two starts is for the chicken, which was very good. No stars for this one employee which was very rude, very tall AA young man, not everyone is trying to get over on you and yes I pay for my food.

I would give negative stars if I could! I found a coupon on the Popeyes website and present it to them after ordering and they refused to take it! They said they only honor coupons if it has been printed out but the fine print doesn’t say that anywhere!!! Not to mention I have used that coupon many times before by just presenting it to them on my phone. These employees are idiots that don’t know how to read and understand the content and have no common sense on customer service! The manager is even worse! Haha they need smarter managers to train the employees or else Popeyes has no hope.

I went to pickup 2 meals and ordered 2 extra legs on the side. I noticed my receipt was charged for $ 3.58 for 2 legs. Seeing a sign for a special for 1 leg and 1 thigh for $ 1.50 on Tuesdays, I went back in and asked that I either get a refund for the $ 3.58 so that I could just get 2 orders of the $ 1.50 special, or instead(because I don’t like thighs, just give me 1 extra drumstick) the girl at the front went back and asked the manager and I could see him shaking his head«no». She came and told me, so I said fine, I want a refund for the 2 legs, then I want to place an order for 2 specials(so now I’m getting more and getting money back as well). She went back again and tells me she will give me 2 thighs. I said that’s fine but I want a refund for the difference. She agrees to give me $ 0.35 back lol, I agree because now I’m actually getting what I paid for. I get home and realize the girl has givens 2 cole slaws instead of 1 and a mashed potato. I opened the cole slaw and it smelled rotten and is discolored so at this point I’m pissed and have lost my appetite. I called back to talk to the manager. I told him the issues and gave him the price of my receipt so I could get a credit, he puts the girl on the phone and I ask why he couldn’t finish his own conversation… She said she can only replace the one cole slaw for a mashed potato. So they want me to drive all the way back? Waste my time and gas, delay dinner, have everything be cold when I get back, because THEY made a mistake? No way. I told them they could either comp my $ 20 meal, or suffer a formal complaint to corporate and a bad Unilocal review. They refused so here I am. Worst customer service ever and the manager acted like a punk. I worked at KFC for 2.5 years and never once refused to comp a meal due to an error that was my fault. They have not only lost whatever business from people reading this review, but they have lost my business for a lifetime, over $ 20… Smart move guys! I’ll be excited when this Popeyes turns into a respectable business ran by a competent manager that’s is properly trained in customer service. What a joke.

When it come down to Fried Chicken i really think they are very serious about what is a pefect season and fried chicken is all about. The chicken is as always tender & juicy, not like other competitors that are like greasy and dry. In the end i believe every one have its own like. For me when it come down to fried chicken popeye will be my first choice. And i will drive to it if i am very far away from one.
