Stopped by here on my way out of town to grab a coffee and a breakfast snack. So pleasantly surprised by the quality! I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant, the croissant was perfectly buttery and flaky, definitely freshly baked, and the fillings were fresh quality ingredients. It’s sometimes hard to find a quick place with made to order food, and this place achieves both! To top it off the service was fantastic and I’m currently drinking one of the best iced Americanos I’ve ever had. Looking forward to returning and checking out their French/Vietnamese lunch and dinner menu!

Went for lunch and ordered a sautéed noodle bowl. It was pretty good. I wish i had gotten one of the many beautiful pastries. Overall great little place.

A nice update to the Chez Pierre that I remember from my childhood. Wish they still baked and sold their own bread. Pastries are all seem to be good. Had the napoleon and appreciated that it was not super sweet. Banh Mi was so so, and a bit on the pricey side, so recommend sticking with the pastries.

The people are nice and friendly. I like the fact that their sweets are not too overly sweet. Their cakes are always fresh and fluffy. Their mini pecan pie is really good. I like the fact that they offer kitchen food options too. I have only tried the Shaken Beef. The beef had a nice flavor and was very tender. IF you see any chocolate covered strawberries in the case, get them! They are soo good!

We loved the goodies here! We always get our family to bring it to us when they come visit! We had the following: — Vietnamese Coffee — delicious and strong, a little too sweet for my liking though — Fruit tart, almond tart, tiramisu, pineapple meringue, and cinnamon roll — everything was good except for the cinnamon roll, which was somewhat hard We always enjoy our goodies here!

We went to Chez Pierre on Valentine’s Day to pick up a few pastries to take home. We bought a chocolate ganache and cookies. We were served by a rude young man who threw our things into a plastic bag. The ganache was awful and tasted like something off an Asian restaurant buffet. The cookies were hard and stale, and I’d bet they weren’t even made by Chez Pierre. More likely they came from Sam’s. The place is awful and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

My favorite place for sweets! Their version of strawberry shortcake is to die for. Everything I have ordered from there is absolutely delicious and always fresh. I miss them being in Kenner, but a trip to Metairie is not a hardship for such delectable goodies.

I Love their cinnamon king cake. Its not a superheavy dough which makes you feel like it’s OK to eat more.

This review is for the King Cake! I got a cream cheese filled King Cake and it was amazing! The bread itself is soft! Probably the softest one I have had so far. The cream cheese is slightly tart but balances well with the white frosting on top of the ring! It isn’t overly sweet which is nice for me since I don’t like things too sweet! I can’t stop eating it!

I love Chez Pierre Chantilly cakes — I honestly believe they have the best. I came here for lunch with my friend and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s hard to mess up Bun Thit Nuong(Chargrilled Pork) with Egg Rolls. I added the egg rolls(it was an additional $ 2.50 to the menu price). My friend got the phở and I got to taste the broth — not bad at all! Overall, it’s a decent place to grab lunch if you’re in the area or going for some bakery goods.

Got my first king cake of the season here and it is the best. So light and soooooo fresh. I got the Bavarian filling and highly recommend it. Thanks Katrina! This will be my new go to place for my treats. #cheatmeal #kingcake

We get all of our family party and birthday cakes here. BEST chantilly cake you will ever eat. Bigger fan of the white chocolate chantilly over the dark chocolate, but the dark chocolate is still delicious as well!

Overrated bakery! We ordered a cake for our Christmas party and was bland. Not enough chocolate flavor and flavorless.

I have mixed feelings on this place, but the fact that I am already wanting to go back warrants a 4 star rating. My boyfriend’s family told us they were taking us out somewhere nice for his brother’s birthday. They didn’t tell us where we were going, but I figured it was somewhere kind of fancy so I put on my fur vest and heels. I’ll be honest, I was slightly disappointed when we pulled up here. This place is a bit odd, it has pastries and Vietnamese food. The décor is very nice for a coffee/pastry shop. Eating dinner here as a large group was a bit strange. The service was pretty slow, but I’m guessing they weren’t prepared for large group to be eating dinner on a weekday. I feel like it would be a nice setting for lunch though. I don’t eat Vietnamese food often, so I played it safe and split the coconut shrimp appetizer and steak salad with my boyfriend. The food was good and so were the prices. I tried someone else’s vermicelli and banh mi which I enjoyed. I would like to go here again and order one of those items. We only tried one pastry, the crème brûlée cheesecake. I would pass on it next time and try something else.

Great banh mi, vermicelli, and oh yeah, the fantastic desserts. Definitely worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth. Had a delicious brunch and will be returning to sample their wide variety of desserts. Cute décor, friendly service, great brunch options. So much more than just a coffee and bakery! Well done Chez Pierre, we were thoroughly impressed!

Cute place. Got a lot of seatings. Got a lot of dessert options and some lunch items. Got the mocha cake and an éclair. Did not know the éclair was chocolate filled. That did not sit well with me. They didn’t have a regular éclair either. Everything was very chilled and hard, not moist. So ended up throwing the éclair away. Lame. Not coming here again.

Tea is tazo, tea powder in a paper bag. Croissant wasn’t any better. Sugared outside. not crispy outside. Interior was wet and dense. My money is on frozen dough thawed and baked. I won’t be back.

Enjoyed brunch with my Hunny. I had the Asian grilled chicken salad which was very good. The chicken was nice a hot. My Hunny had the egg white omelette with veggies, bacon and grits. The grits were delicious. The omelette was also delicious. There was a large selection of pastries. I didn’t get any though. Next time! The staff is relatively new so they were not very familiar with the menu. Time will fix this.

I am giving this place 5 stars just for their cake. Mainly because no one else can make it like them. Everything else is jibberish, but I guess I have to write something… Let’s go Food: I wasn’t expecting much. I see it as a bakery more than anything. However, their phở tasted a lot better than a lot of these places around here. I didn’t expect them to pass the temperature, broth, and meat test. If a bowl of phở comes out warm to the touch, I am giving any place a 3 star at most. I don’t care if John Besh started making phở. It better come out hot. Temperature is key! These guys passed that test. ****. As for broth, it’s a familiar taste. Almost every cook has own unique broth flavor and I feel like I’ve tasted it before. ***. Now, meat selection. Thank god they didn’t take the cheapskate route. The meatballs were sliced thin. Not a crime but it’ll do. Along with that were slices of brisket and thin beef. ***. For appetizer, we ordered the eggrolls. This place does a fair job of keeping it traditional. I prefer a different type of wrapping but this one was good too. Overall, I like this place. I love the new location. Now, I can stop by more often without having to drive to Kenner brah. The staff were pretty friendly. More than one person asked if I needed help. Next time, I will try the banh mi. Don’t expect a review, I just love their cake.

Vietnamese café dressed up in French clothing. Food quality is good and priced more than the usual banh mi shops. Service is inefficient and lacking. It takes 3 person to take an order, and there always seem to be confusion. I have been here a few times and it seems like quality and service gets worse. Small attention to details and it seems like they are missing it everywhere. Simple things like table setting being«thrown» on the table, bringing out food, standing across the table and placing it awkward, extra plates that are still wet. I had the breakfast plate and the grits were clumpy, this is unacceptable here in the south.

This is a review that I am having trouble with, I liked it here, I didn’t love it. We went on a Sunday. It is nice that they were open at all. The deserts were very good. I cannot complain about them. My husband ordered a banh mi that was pretty good, not great, but good. The coffee was fresh(ish). The décor is nice, the front area is tasteful even though it is a little cramped. They had various items stacked around near the restrooms some cake boxes, little bits of trash and food were on the floor. There are tons of windows, the sun in my eyes was not my preference, but I think what really cast a cloud over the entire experience was the service. They were not blatantly rude, but the eye-rolling annoyed type of rude. It was our first time trying them out and we weren’t sure where to order what from. You have to order hot food from one part of the counter and pastry from another part. They weren’t busy, but made a point to ping pong us 6 feet down the counter until they realized we were ordering some of both. It just made us feel unwelcome. We were not dressed inappropriately nor were we loud or using a cell phone at the counter, so I can only conclude that our mere presence was the irritant. We were not given enough forks for our pastry plates we ordered 3 pastries and were given two forks. the response when asked was an audible huff. We ordered water and had to ask for it. I give them a 1 for service, and a solid 4 for the food.

Services is fantastic. I called once I landed at the airport. The person that picked up was super nice and courteous. I wanted to place an order for their popular cake to have it picked up as soon as possible. She then proceed to ask what size or how many people that I were trying to feed. She then told me they did not have the size prepared, but they will have a cake ready once I come. Service was always fast and efficient. The cake came out perfect and my family loved it! They sell from French pastries to Vietnamese cuisines. This a new location. The décor is really cute and very spacious compared to the old location. The décor gives a warm, home-like feeling.

I never give 5 stars to anyone. No one is ever perfect but this place is pretty close. What an ODD place ! French Pastry to Breakfast to Vietnamese Food? What a combination! First off — they do not close at 2pm. They closed at 10pm 7 days a week. We got the Breakfast Plate, perfect to order. The breakfast sandwich is awesome. Fruit Tart, Napoleon, Almond Croissant, Crème Brulee… Man! I will never lose weight!!! Staff very friendly ! New clean place. To make my visit even so much more a pleasure and joy… I had a little something in my glass of water so I requested bottled water(just something I do). Not only did they give me free bottled water, they gave me a bag of these little yummy cookies. Now that’s customer service! I will frequent this place time and time and time again! Can’t wait to try the Vietnamese.

This is my second visit to the new location. I am happy that they are some what closer to places I frequent. My first visit, I only picked a few items out of the display case. As they were at their location, they left nothing out! Butter croissant, sugar twist, both awesome. I went today in hopes to grab a quick meal before going to work. SLOW! I’ve seen turtles move faster than they did to get my order. I ordered the grilled beef with rice. I ended up getting it to go, because despite the fact that I gave myself 30 minutes, they were slow at preparation. However, it was delicious! Well worth the wait! I will be back when I have more time to try other meals. Kind of odd that they say they are a French bakery and café. Most of the deserts do seem to be French, but the food is Asian. Very surprising and very good.

This place was awesome. We went twice today. On our first visit, the plan was to try a coffee and a pastry. My wife loved her frozen coffee and I loved my oatmeal raisin cookie. They threw in a free pastry too! While we were snacking, an employee was walking around with a tray having customers sample their egg rolls. Of course I partook and was instantly hooked. My wife and I decided to come back later on for dinner. We came back for dinner, I got the egg rolls which came with sweet and spicy sauce on the side, yummy! I also tried the beef on a stick which I dipped in the sauce. My wife had the strawberry pecan salad and loved it. She definitely wants to get that again. On top of that, they gave us a napoleon for dessert for free! My wife and baby shared that(I don’t eat desserts). Service both times was outstanding. It’s counter service but they do walk around and check on tables. My wife is taking her mother there Monday to try it out.
