Spa Jouvence

Would not go back. I was in the room less then 20 minutes and I will be contacting Groupon… From what my friends tell me where they went they took over 45 minutes. I paid $ 99.00 plus $ 27.00 tip that is required. Not worth the money NEVER AGAIN!!!

TRAIN WRECK is the best way to describe my experience here. PERIOD

This Vibraderm facial is a rip off. A big waste of money. Besides being kept waiting for 20 minutes by an unfriendly staff, I could have run a vibrator across my face for the same result. My pores were not cleansed and my face looked and felt the same before I came in. Beware of fillers and Botox. How licensed is the hidden doctor? A bigger joke is the lunchtime facelift that these naïve women of Metairie fall for. It is common logic that these are cash suckers too.

I heard about Spa Jouvence through a Groupon deal. The space is tucked away a little bit, so keep an eye out for the sign out front. The inside décor is really well done– clean, water and tea available, and good products. Jenny, the owner, did the service and she was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She explained her path to opening the med spa, and gave me suggestions on other services to try based on my own needs. I have tried those services and loved them– I continue to go to Spa Jouvence every 3 weeks or so because of how great it is. I highly recommend seeing Jenny and frequenting this spa. She knows what she is doing and she makes anyone feel comfortable. AND: she is very accommodating in terms of time– some times she is able to stay later to fit your schedule.

The staff is friendly and apt’s are relatively easy to get. Their hours are better than most places like these. I was also glad to find a place that was in on the Brilliant Distinctions program! My one complaint is that I went to pay for Botox, using my $ 25 BD credit, and the doctor tried to charge me more than the PRICE LIST RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME (on the desk) said it was… When I asked him about the price, he said, «Is that what someone told you it was???» As if I had caught him in a lie. Very sketchy. He gave it to me for the «special» AKA, the LISTED price + my discount and I went on my way. I had more bruising here than I’ve ever had with botox, which i found odd, but it was also only my third time. Still, it was also a third doctor and 2 out of 3 left me bruise-​less. Who knows!

I always like to try new things… so i do… and this is the place to go for Epidermal Leveling! More aggressive than microderm (good for the cell turnover) and gets rid of peach fuzz at the same time! Thanks Jenny!
I haven’t been to the new location yet… can’t wait to see it.
