Whiskey Bar

Well, I would have to strongly disagree with Moonduster. This is a fantastic Neighborhood bar, and everytime we go it’s never short of entertainment. Alex is such a gem on Thursday nights, she even juggled fruit for us when it was slow, phenomenal skills. Great bartenders and great regulars, can’t wait to go back.

Horrible bartenders. Bad atmosphere. Bartenders more worried about doing shots instead of cleaning off tables with knocked over beer bottles on them. Every table was disgusting when we walked in and we even told the bartender, she said she would get it but she never did even though there were only 2 other people besides our group in the bar. Lighting is really bad too. Fluorescent lights in a bar just don’t work. One bartender won’t even get up from the stool to ask if you want a drink. Another actually poured our drinks while never getting off the stool. (Why are they allowed to drag a stool behind the bar anyway? So unprofessional.) I hear the owners also own the place next door which is Bay Café which we always have a good experience at. Not sure why they don’t seem to care about whiskey bar. Could be a decent little place with the right employees and a few lighting and sound tweaks.
