Too bad. Tony’s has everything I want in a barbershop. Old, dirty, quiet and that’s just Tony himself. The décor and cutting area is worse. No chit chat except the info I milked out of him. Tony’s been cutting in Methuen since the 70’s but started out in the 50’s. The prices for the cuts belong in the 1990’s($ 9 men’s cuts!) So, why the 2 stars? Well, the scissors seem like they belong in the 90’s too. At least, they haven’t been sharpened since then. It was not a pleasant experience. fail

I have been going to Tony’s for years. He is a no frlls old fashioned type barber. It is a one man shop with little or no waiting. He is competively priced with other barbers in the area. The parking can be a problem as there is very limited parking in front of his shop.
