Do not order from this crappy place placed order at 1027 pm was told order will arrive in 45 min to hr which didn’t arrive till 1220. When it did arrive it was cold no utensils to eat with no condiments for your food. The food was extremely cold and they forgot half the order. Very disappointed don’t trust the flyers put under your hotel room door. I believe these people are scam artist and may even be working with some of the employee workers. Also the quality if the food was that of a microwave and canned items. If your want a taste of Italy it’s best you don’t order here

STAY AWAY
This place is disgusting. I ordered a XL pizza and wings and a cold pizza and bones were delivered to me. They lady on the phone was rude as can be and hung up on me twice. Not to mention I was told it’d be a 40 minute wait and ended up waiting an hour and a half.
The food made me sick and I wasn’t even aware of the 9 $ delivery fee until I saw other reviews and checked my bill.
Very tacky, distasteful, and nasty.

Whatever you do, DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE! I work in a hotel in South Beach and these guys come into every hotel and drop off flyers under every guests door. If you want to spend $ 40 on food you can get at a 711 by all means order from «A Taste of Italy».

I’m not sure what is in the water here but I am from New York, used to bad service and this place takes the cake. The credit card machine has been down forever apparently. The staff barely speaks English and doesn’t like to answer any questions besides hi can I take your order the wrong way… just avoid at all costs

Avoid this place like the plague! They have no physical restaurant and use a cell phone to take orders.
While I was on business in Miami staying in a hotel I picked up a flier that was slid under my door for a 24 hour pizza delivery that boasted they have the lowest prices in town, so I ordered a large pizza and a 2L soft drink and was told it would be about 40 minutes.
After an hour and a half I called them back to ask if my order was on the way. I was put on hold twice by the rude woman who takes the orders and was told it would be delivered soon and then immediately hung up on.
I waited a half an hour longer and called back to ask when they expected my food to arrive and if it was going to arrive at all, I was then hung up on again with no explanation or answer.
I called back again thinking maybe it was a mistake we were disconnected, but no. She immediately hung up on me. Luckily I was going to pay cash so I did not give them my credit card number when I ordered.
I did speak with the front desk at the hotel about the fliers and my experience and was told that this was a regular occurrence with A Taste of Italy and that they did not recommend to order from them.

Do not! Do not! Order from this place. Complete scam. Received flier at hotel and placed order 2 hours passed and called and said CC was not working! Why not a follow up phone call? Seems to be a scam biz. Beware!

Came across this delivery restaurant because a flier was left under my hotel room door. My kids were arriving late that evening to meet me and I thought this was a more affordable option to feed my 3 kids and it offered «kid friendly» menu options (e.g. pasta, pizza) vs room service. I knew my kids would be arriving late, so when I called to order at about 10:30pm, I requested that my order arrive closer to 11:30; they were happy to oblige. I needed to pay by credit card, and was disappointed to hear their credit card machine wasn’t working… but apreciated the offer to take off $ 3 for having to go to ATM for cash. 11:30pm came and went… I had to call about 3 times to confirm my order was on its way… by the 3^rd call, I appreciated the apology, their owning up to the mediocre service and the willingness to provide another discount (ended up discounting $ 10 off my $ 46 bill). Was shocked that there was, however, a $ 9 delivery charge.
Had ordered a pizza, ravioli and spaghetti with meat sauce. Definitely not authentic Italian food, not good at all. The quality of the ravioli was like Chef Boyardee, with some melted cheese on top… but the flavor was not even as good as canned ravioli. Kids did not like it at all. Spaghetti and pizza were more palatable, but nothing special. Maybe the burgers or Latin American items should’ve been the way to go. Inexpensive food can still be good, but not the case here. Can’t justify the money saved here or the $ 9 delivery charge. Food arrived at almost 1am. They were very apologetic, though.
I wish the food was better (the non-​Italian items might be). Truly appreciated and respect their willingness to accommodate and serve and make up for error/​inconvenience.
