Review for the buffet: $ 50USD includes an omelette station, the BEST granola and Greek yogurt plus fruits, and your average pastries as well as smoked salmon and charcuterie. The food was delish but I have to dock 2 stars for the creepy dudes standing behind the omelette station making rude comments. They stand there leering at the female patrons making comments and made my friends and I feel extremely uncomfortable. I wouldn’t be back due to that alone which is too bad because I loved the food and our waitress was very sweet. We visited for brunch on 6÷15÷16.

Have eaten here several times and it’s always very good! My only desire, would be that they do a better job of sourcing locally, they are one of the best at focusing on farm to table concepts, I’d like to see more featured on the menu about that. I grew up on a farm in the south and I know my genuine farm items! I know it’s easy to use local fruits which I appreciate(so flavorful). Chicken, eggs, herbs, veggies — where are they all sourced? If anyone has the opportunity to showcase, it’s Coliccio! I’m going to keep eating here with my peeps, I hope they can put forth a better effort toward supporting the local guys :)

Excellent server(Christopher) with great recommendations on food and wine pairings. Great décor and ambience. Loved the oysters, scallop crudo and octopus. We shared the Berkshire pork rib chop with sides of corn and potatoes.

After a long day at a conference, my colleague and I decided to treat ourselves to a dinner at the Mediterranean-style Miami outpost of the Colicchio Craft empire. In all honesty, we were underwhelmed. This is a fabulously large restaurant. It was less than a third filled on a Tuesday night, which led to a bland ambience, but we made the best of it. The cocktails are inventive on paper, but mine tasted like a sweet, watery bourbon that I downed in a minute. The wine list is long and accessible — I ordered a sub-$ 100 Sancerre, and it did the job. We went for the raw bar first — oysters and stone crab claws. All good enough, but nothing too special. The oyster accompaniments were simple and classic — cocktail and mignonette. Pretty standard. The lettuce salad wasn’t amazing, and the calamari with garbanzos was simply average. The best dish we ordered was the pasta course — Maltagliati with chicken liver. Delightfully cooked, creamy and flavorful with puréed chicken livers making a sauce that we scraped from the plate. Our entrees were somewhat a letdown after the pasta. Simply grilled scallops and snapper were doing little more than providing fodder for hungry chaps. I ordered a side of mushrooms, simply because I needed to know what a $ 14 side of mushrooms tastes like. Rubbery is the answer. If you’re looking for an average enough fish location, you could do worse. However, having eaten at the magnificent Craft in New York, I expected more. And for $ 225 each, we didn’t get that. Get your act together, Colicchio.

Service was incredible, hands down the most memorable dining experience in Miami thus far with the wait staff being on point. The dinning room and atmosphere is most welcoming. Only two dishes stand out for me the shrimp pesto Flatbread and the side of corn. The snapper came out very dry and lacking flavor. I would return for tapas and atmosphere.

Service was impeccable. Food delicious. Had beef salad starter which was smokey and spicy at the same time. Followed that with the Black Grouper main course. At first bite I was not sure if it was going to be over cooked but then every single bite following was extremely delicate chunks of grouper like it just jumped out of the ocean. Toms standards and attention to detail are superb.

I loved my experience at this place! Every single dish was amazing! Everything was so well seasoned and fresh! Focaccia and raisin butter was to die for! It was so different, i haven’t ever tasted something like that! It’s really worth getting! The butter will def take you by a surprise as it almost has a taste of jam, the bread was warm and topped with herbs and sea salt. Perfection. Seafood tower– so fresh! And came with four different sauces to dip the seafood in! octopus was amazing! It came with a side of pureed avocado which i never thought to dip octopus in, but it was a hit! The bucatini with sea urchin was a pasta like I’ve never had before! I wouldn’t miss out on this one! Along with the 50 day ribeye! It seems like the type of place anything on the menu you just can’t go wrong! Everything tastes so delicious and just so creative! Thought was definitely put in when creating this menu and seems like the type of food that you have to come back for more and can’t be easily replicated at the next restaurant! Service was amazing! And the environment felt like it was intimate and had your own privacy!

I have been coming here for the past week off and on because obviously it’s just easier to charge to the room and they don’t judge when I want to come in my beach attire or(staying in a suite so I do what I want) robe. Service has always been excellent from the hostesses down to the cooks in the back. Brunch menu, imo, is le best! Depending on the time, you are able to have a buffet or order from a number of items on a menu. If ordering from breakfast menu, I recommend huevos rancheros and for lunch, the steak is a must!

Great people watching, vibe, décor, staff and food/drink. Some say pricey, but you get what you pay for here. We connected with the senior bar man, Nico. He and his bar back team are rockstars. The bar manager, Collin Bleess, is a genuine hospitality professional– warm and attentive. We stayed at 1 Hotel 6 days and ate/drank there each day and were never bored. The variety of table layouts allows you to enjoy whatever mood you are in, romantic or lively. Tip: table number 40 is a two top booth right between the bar and one of the dining rooms. A super cool spot to eat and people watch that won’t intimidate a first time date or make for a boring dinner if there’s not too much to talk about. It even has a curtain for a little more intimacy. Being located inside the 1 Hotel is a bonus because some evenings have excellent live entertainment in a super cool lounge just outside Beachcraft’s hotel entrance. If in South Beach, you gotta visit Beachcraft.

I can’t understand why this place has 3 ½ stars but I’m not gonna lie — I kind of love that other people don’t like it. This was my third visit to beachcraft, and I can’t say that I visit many other restaurants that many times. There are just too many options here and I like to try new things, but I think beachcraft is excellent and worth the drive. Its absolutely stunning inside, so Miami. Beachy but modern, tastefully decorated with nice ambient lighting. The hotel is also gorgeous. Yes, this restaurant is expensive. Get used to it 1) in Miami, and 2) on the beach. Also its a top chef judge — Tom Collichio, what do you expect? I can say that the prices are totally worth it. The food is so so good. Starting with their focaccia bread — amazing. Now they have some kind of raisin butter that is amazing. We got the cavatelli with lamb & manchego to share, and it was amazing. One of my favorite dishes ever. For my meal I had the snapper and it was delicious, the vinaigrette was great. My boyfriend had the Prime Bavette steak and it was perfectly cooked, nice and tender. We didn’t have room for dessert, maybe next time. I just checked their website and noticed that they offer brunch, I will absolutely be back for that! $ 30 unlimited mimosas sounds perfect, and no, that’s not super expensive for Miami.

REALLYFREAKINGEXPENSIVE!!! Eh — the service is TERRIBLE! Came here on a quiet Tuesday night; sat at the bar at 7:15. Bar was only ¼ full and there were three bartenders — it took forever for one of them to even notice me. I Had to flag one of them down. Once someone came by, he asked me what I wanted and mid-sentence walked away to other side of the barf to wait on someone else. WTF?!? Dinner service at the tables was no better. Servers are clueless. Items were timed poorly. Food is good but so NOT worth the $$$. Another«tragically hip» hotel restaurant…

The space is beautifully decorated. Light wood, white furniture, looks very classy and«beachy». It’s located in The One Hotel. The hotel lobby and bat are also beautiful. Big bar in the center where you can see the catch of the day. Food is very good. Always had good experiences. We have been there 3 times. My gf favorite dish is the bucatini pasta. Every dish I have tried was good and well presented. Service was also pleasant. One little complaint: bread is extra and on top of that it’s not good… Some very good desserts as well.

Tom Colicchio’s Beachcraft! I had the Wahoo Tiradito which was amazing, great acidity of the pickled cucumber and heat from the peppers to complement the Wahoo. I was recommended the Octopus at the bar which I was told was a dish Beachcraf was known for. And, well… it was good… Everything made sense on the plate and the octopus was cooked perfectly but I wasn’t blown away with uniqueness. I have had octopus many times before and this tasted similar. That being said it was still very delicious and service was great. I will come again

This place was one of the better meals I have had on Miami beach! Beautiful people, beautiful ambiance and just plain great food. The octopus, and Tuna crudo were spot on. For dinner, had the snapper which was phenomenal. The drinks were perfectly made. Please just make sure you save room for dessert because that’s where the fireworks begin!!! Absolute perfection! You may even want to lick the plate

Came here for Miami Spice restaurant month fixed price menu. Exceptional experience. Loved chocolate semifredo dessert. Lively weekend Miami Spice crowd. Have the grilled octopus — from the regular menu too! Super good. Zack our server was great and the welcome from the Manager Rafaela was warm, and a nice touch. A neighbor, we will return often. Worth the trip even if you need to fly in and stay at the One Hotel. Tom Collichio your restaurant is a fabulous addition to our neighborhood.

I went to Beachcraft for brunch a couple of weeks ago. My best friend and I wanted to visit the hotel since we hadn’t been before and had heard great things. When we arrived, two of the hostesses were bickering with each other. Apparently one was being mean to the other. Although I didn’t mind, I did think it was awkward to walk into a restaurant and have that be my first impression. Anyway, one of the hostesses walked us over to the«great» table she had for us. When we arrived at the table, we saw there was absolutely nothing special about it, or its location. We sat down and perused the menu. Although the service was okay, it didn’t seem like the server was very familiar with the menu. I get that it’s a new restaurant, but this too seemed odd. My friend ordered the fava bean flatbread. When her dish arrived, she found it to be so tasteless that she asked for hot sauce to add some flavor(she isn’t the type that adds hot sauce to everything she eats). I ordered the grass-fed burger, which was good, but not out of this world. I would much rather have a burger from Kush or even B&B. The burger was SONOTWORTH the $ 22 price tag. The fries were good though. Although we’d intended on having coffee and maybe a dessert after our meal, we were so unimpressed with what we tried that we decided to go elsewhere. Overall, our meal left much to be desired and I don’t think i’ll be back to Beachcraft.

Amazing restaurant by the famous Tom Colicchio located at the One Hotel on Miami beach just north of the W! The service was top notch! Right as we walked in the confusing door, we were greeted by a smiling hostess«Mr. Wong?» We were then quickly guided to our table by the window and the feast began! We started with a couple Sauvignon blanc’s with Miyagi Oysters from the West Coast. Awesome oysters! We then had an charred octopus salad with jicama and bucatini with sea urchin ! Both were phenomenal! For our main entrée, we had the lamb and the fish. The fish was light and seasoned perfectly! The lamb was delicious and we were both caught gnawing on the bone after we were done! For dessert, we had the dark chocolate tort with some sort of fruity sorbet. Interesting mix but I liked it! It came out nice and warm and was a perfect end to the meal!

Beachcraft is located inside the One Hotel and Homes and brought to you by celebrity chef Tom Colicchio. The highly anticipated opening was delayed due to a a small electrical fire in the kitchen, but it was well worth the wait. We visited for Sunday brunch and were pleased to find a well-balanced menu of a la carte items priced around $ 20. I ordered the egg sandwich which was very juicy and flavorful and came on a warm English muffin with porchetta and heirloom tomatoes. I also tried the thousand-layered doughnut which was heavenly. Both items were extremely fresh but not the healthiest options. The two-story dinning area is spacious with an airy atmosphere. The name is very fitting for the restaurant as the space resembles a beach retreat. The open kitchen gives it a casual feel along with an attentive waitstaff in matching khaki attire. Overall, we were very pleased with our first trip to Beachcraft, and we look forward to coming back when they start dinner service in a month and a half.
