Bought a gift card less than year ago and now the place is closed down. They took the money knowing they were closing down. Shame on you

Service was beyond 5 stars! Even though the attendant who did my mani/​pedi didn’t speak English and my broken high school Spanish is laughable, we managed and she was an angel. I will be back just because of this. I don’t give 5 stars simply because my French tip manicure chipped off that night. I’m not a freak, and really don’t mind small issues, so whatever. Next time, I will just opt for a different finish. However my toe nails are still going strong after ten days. So if you enjoy actual real life friendly staff (!), a Super Nice & beautiful spa atmosphere (but don’t mind paying south beach prices), make an appointment. You won’t be disappointed!

As soon as Christmas vacation was over, I talked to management. They were unwilling to refund the price of my unused lazer sessions… I needed to beg to atleast exchange for something else in hopes they could trade those three unused sessions for 3 massages, mani/​pedi, facials, etc. The most she could offer was ONE massage after all my moaning and groaning. My plea is that if anyone else experiences burns of this magnitude. Please post it here. The spa maintains its position that I am the only person affected and, therefore, the fault is not theirs.

The girls are taking good care of me. Found this place on the fly. Ended up getting a full leg and bikini wax, gel mani and spa pedi. Will def be back soon! And it is off Ocean Drive. What what.

I’d give it a zero if I could. Bought a groupon here and can’t even redeem it! Would be nice if anyone ever answered their phone and their online appointment booking is bs. No one is ever that full that no appointments are available ever. Smells like a scam to me. Thanks groupon once again.

not worth even a star. Bought 2 groupons for mani pedi for myself & daughter. On day of appt the 2 women that were supposed to do our nails got there at 11:30 when my appt was at 11:15. The lady that did my nails was extremely rough on them & i was in pain 90% of the time. She also didnt do alot of the standard rub/​massage, cream on hands/​feet that i get everywhere even though the 1 that did my daughter did put cream on her & rubbed her hands & feet. Thought they were both nice since they kept making small talk with us until my daughters technician that is chubby with long black hair told us how she hates when people buy groupons. Said that people that buy groupon are trashy & ghetto & dont tip but for us not 2 take offense. Thankfully they were alnost done when she said that because i walked out after without tipping. How dare she! we are her customers and if the service would have been better i would not have had a problem paying regular price for future nail appts since i thought it would be a nice experience to go hang out at beach then get pampered at a nail spa. the point of groupon is to get new business from people who wouldnt have gone to your business

Watch out for this tourist trap. Their service is atrocious and the staff is extremely rude. They guaranteed me an appointment and asked me to return in one hour. Upon return they said they had no availability and refused to honor appointment. Not a loss as the store appeared unclean and grimy anyway.

My car broke down the morning of my appointment, and I called as soon as I knew I was not going to be able to make it. Left a message, and nobody got back to me. Kept calling repeatedly until I was able to speak to someone, and they were extremely rude and unsympathetic. They refused to reschedule me because they have a 24 hour cancellation policy. She insisted I should have called the day before… before my car had broken down. I would have refused to pay the $ 20 cancellation fee, but she didn’t even offer to reschedule be for that, just flatly refused. My bad for having unforeseen circumstances pop up, something apparently no one at Sobe Spa has ever experienced. I will never try to return, that’s for sure.

Love this place… the service is amazing… the energy is great… It’s a most go to Spa when in south beach. The location is great, close to everything. Sandy thank you for the amazing oasis you have created!!!

Nice atmosphere and service but way overpriced and my manicure did not last 1 hour. I got a manicure and requested and acrylic powder coat to harden my nails… they looked nice but as soon as I took a shower they all fell off. Terrible waste of money. The pedicure i got was indeed nice.

Used the guilt city here and it’s an absolute rip off– they charge extra 10 dollars to remove the mail polish, 8 dollars for French, came out to an over priced mani-​pedi if you include paying for parking. Better salons out there

SoBe SoBad worst Mani /​Pedi ever! I went through City Guilt don’t waste your money it’s no different than any other place. And the lady did a horrible job on my nails. No massage chairs, no massage on the feet either! If I could show a picture of my nails … You would die and on to top it off it was more expensive because I had to go somewhere else to redo them!!!

It’s kinda tuff being a manly man and going to a spa for waxing and such; the staff is awesome, they didn’t make me feel gay or anything. :o)

The atmosphere is nice and very south beachy. I liked that I could book online for my last minute appointment the day of. I agree with the previous reviewer, the front desk girl was just so-​so in terms of service (pretty self-​absorbed and clearly trying to be a model — commented on needing to lose 10 lbs. while she was clearly a waif). The nail tech was very nice and personable but did just an okay job on my nails. During the paraffin treatment, she nearly burned my feet (although she swore I wouldn’t get burned from the hot wax — I think not as the soles of my feet are a bit sore from her over sanding the bottoms and then dipping them in scalding hot wax). My toes look nice, but a couple of my nails are very bumpy — she was running out of polish and instead of getting a new bottle, kept trying to get as much as she could out of the existing one — which led to the bumpy finish).
I didn’t have a chance to try the massage/​facial — but something tells me that these are equally just mediocre and that this spa does not use the best talent around.
Was good enough for my last minute decision to pamper myself, but if I lived around here, I would keep shopping.

A few things I liked a few things I did not… $ 25 for a plain manicure

–the girl who did my nails was nice
–my nails looked really nice

–I was on hold forever and ended up hanging up & calling back, only to hang up and just walk there to see if I could make an appointment
–girl at the desk clearly picks and chooses who she wants to give appointments to (various people would come in and she would tell them different things– even when someone else hadn’t booked a time previously offered to someone else. This happened a few times while I was getting my nails done)
–hand massage was pretty weak with my manicure, which is usually my favorite part of the deal.
In a pinch I would probably stop in again… I would rather not go again unless the girl at the appointment desk is different, not very service oriented.
