This place was cool. I didn’t have to wait outside terribly long, and it was 20 $ cover charge. Good music, but for some reason everyone in the place looked so young to me. Overall it was cool

This club was a dud for me. Came here for an end of carnival party but ended up leaving early. Majority of people did not dance. The DJ played music pre-2005 till 2pm. The club has a large VIP section in the middle of the dance floor roped off. This section comprises 65 – 70 percent of the dance floor. Everyone stands and watches a section they’re not in. The DJ station was located on a platform stage overlooking the VIP section. The multicolored lights, tv screen behind dj w/images of beautiful ladies added a nice touch. For this location to charge 30 – 40 dollars entry and be directly across from burger King is laughable.

I’m it was lit mad people! It was live my girl and I got in via guest list and we got in free and had VIP treatment. Bottles and bottles ! DJ E-Feezy was turning up! He was spinning the tunes. But they didn’t play reggae & soca :(– took people awhile to dance.(some were out for show) security was on point & the lines to get in were orderly.

Awful, if I could give it no stars I would First off the club is smaller than Dream. There is no dance floor no room to sit unless you get bottle service which is fine but at least have a place for a lady to sit and fix her strap on her shoe. Went to the restroom and was told by the Maitre’D that I had to wait because she wasn’t ready! Um I have to go I think I can handle getting my own paper towel. Well drinks, bad well drinks at $ 15, in a plastic 6oz cup no thank you. The club is filled with euro trash. Think pat benatar in leather leggings and a ruby red disco top with Dorothy gale shoes to match. Men in gold glitter glasses and Capri rolled up pants. No class at all this club is obviously for older Europeans. Now I am all for bottle service but when you are just out with 1 other person, I am not a drunk. Now if I’m with more than just two people and can walk myself out of the club after bottle service than hey good times ahead. But if this club wants to be bottle service only than they should just say so. Oh and don’t forget about the cover, now I did not pay to get in but they did charge the girl behind me $ 100 and then the guy we ran into from a local spot said he paid $ 60. Save your time and go some where else. One more thing the music/DJ is house music the whole time we were there until we left. Now I have been to the Dream, the Mansion, all the big clubs in Las Vegas, hakkasan and so on so, I can judge a club.

Got here at 11 and the bouncer said they open at 11:30. At 11:30 the bouncer was telling ppl they open at 12am. Worst experience ever. They still had the nerve to charge $ 60 to get in. Never coming back

Please don’t waste your time. I am utterly disgusted at the service I have just received from the Ivy club. As a new club on the market I would expect better service, but coming all the way from London and experiencing a rude non cooperative service I will never return again. As i was there to carry out a reveiw, I will document reasons why one shouldnt waste their time: 1. THe promoters were very dismissive and was only concerned in letting ladies in who had next to no clothes. 2. There was around 100 people waiting outside the entrance of the club at 1am, please note the club finished at 5am. As another reviewer noted, if you don’t know the promoter or bouncer or any other chiefs on the door, you will have to pay extortionate prices which seem to be made up by everyone on the door as everyone was giving different prices 3. No one seemed to be in charge. To many chiefs and not enough Indians 4. No one Was helpful and everyone seemed to be very aggrogant 5. After people in the ques either got taxis to go to a different places or got in, the promoters was still charging 160 for 2 people, please note this night had Mr santana advertised on the night, but unfortunately I refuse to pay for his lifestyle and the arrogance of all the people encountered on the door so through my business card and left. Please note, if you wish to wait up to an hour or more, waste your money on entrance fees, encounter rude uncooperative arrogant door staff then ivy club is for you. Alternatively, I’m sure there is much better places in miami where one could spend their money. Review out of 10, minus 10 please don’t waste your time!

This club was definitely not my type of scenery. It was not very crowed. It was mix crowed. The music definitely had it’s MOMENTS where it was popping. Our bottle service waitress was amazing! Very attentive and super sexy. Service was awesome because of her other than that, it wasn’t all that great. I don’t think I would return to this club If I came back to Miami.

We were hanging out at the beach and one of the promoters came over and told us about this place. We decided to try it and I have to say the place its very pretty and sort of remind me of the Vegas clubs. Drinks are super pricey but Paul was our bartender and he was amazing. He made really good drinks and strong so you got your money’s worth. It wasn’t too packed for a Saturday night and my only complain was the music. We were told it was going to be a mix sort of like top 40s however it was house music the whole time which isn’t really my cup of tea.

This club was nice but beware I guess everyone in Florida smokes so I wouldn’t go if that’s not your scene, but over all the club is not bad

Their NYE event was supposed to start at 9 for the open bar and the club didn’t let anyone in(besides the normal prostitute looking girls) until 1030. When we tried to ask what the hold up was, mind you — in the nicest way possible– the bouncers would blatently ignore us. One man yelled«we don’t have to answer any questions» to no one in particular. So while 5 bouncers stood and ate gummy bears, we stood outside while no one was allowed in during the open bar time. We were one of the first people in and ordered a drink. Drink after drink came back tasting like soap. The soda guns had been sitting in cleaning solution and not properly rinsed. I finally told the bartender and she sampled one of the drinks and agreed and threw them all out. She gave us new drinks and we went upstairs. The same thing happened up there at the second floor bar! I felt nauseous from the drinks and all the weed that people were smoking so I left at 1209! I got in a cab and a bouncer tried to get me out of it! Saying that it was for another costumer. Uh, you guys sure as hell don’t own the cabs and no other customer was in sight. Overall this club is overpriced($ 17 dollars for a top shelf vodka soda), poorly managed, ill manaered, and attracts a rough crowd from Miami. Untill you are a Mansion type club, don’t carry twice the attitude and deliver an eighth of the service/amenities.

Ivy opened about two months ago in the Beach, and I was not impressed. The location is random, right when you get to South Beach, it’s the first left, across from the Publix building on the corner. If you aren’t parking valet, then you are parking in the $ 15 fixed rate Publix garage that you awkwardly have to get in and out of via stairs or walking down the ramp. In heels, that is not how you want to start off your night. Going inside, it’s a small venue, two stories and you can see the whole area at once. Seriously, the entire downstairs section is all tables, that’s all there was. So, if you don’t have a table, you are stuck on the outskirts in the boondocks, separated from the«party.» Drinks were overpriced, with well drinks at $ 9, but it is the Beach. My biggest disappointment was when it finally got to around 2 a.m. and the crowd was not dancing but just looking at everyone else buying bottles at their tables. I was over it and dipped. When I go out, I want to dance and have fun, and I didn’t feel like the atmosphere here was fit for that.

From an «out-of-towner’s», male perspective I am torn with Ivy. As already mentioned, the club is slightly smaller than some of the other Miami mainstays but it does provide plenty of space for those enjoying a table. FYI, if you are not planning on getting a table and don’t know anybody at the front door be prepared to wait(like other Miami hot spots). The biggest difference in this wait is there is no actual«line» and you never really know when it’s your turn. This goes for both the ladies and the fellas. This is the main reason I gave three stars instead of four. Once you get inside things start to look up if you are lucky enough to have access to the table area. For those(fellas) without access you will be roaming on the outskirts viewing the fun from a distance. The music was definitely on point with top hip hop hits throughout the night. We only heard two song repeats through the night and I was impressed by the DJ. Everyone was looking their best in the true Miami way. There is space upstairs but it was a VIP only area that seemed pretty dead all night(most likely due to the fact that most of the action was downstairs). My advice for males is to come prepared to get a table(on the main floor) to get the true experience. Once you get in it is fun times for all. All in all we had a good time and I would return but with a better game plan.

For a nightclub that just opened a month ago, the Ivy is definitely a nice hot spot in SoBe. We came here on a Saturday night during Labor Day weekend when LA Riots was spinning(I believe the other nights are hiphop) and had a great time. The club itself is smaller than other clubs in Miami, but the layout is well spread out. They have a huge screen with special effects overlooking the club behind the DJ booth, and the DJ is also dead center in the club. They have a great sound system, but since our table was posted so close to the DJ booth, our ears were ringing for awhile after the club. Every 15 minutes or so, they would spray out a smoke/mist which was nice because it cooled us down a lot! The staff(bouncers, cocktail waitresses, bathroom attendant, etc.) was also friendly throughout our time there. My only complaints are: — There’s only 1 sink in the women’s bathroom and 3 stalls, which didn’t really make sense at all. — We were given plastic cups(like the kind you can purchase at the store for house parties) instead of regular hard plastic cups that you can purchase from Restaurant Depot… Slightly tacky so hopefully this will be something they’ll change in the near future since they just opened!

I really like this place! There’s an upstairs(that wasn’t open the 2 times I’ve been there), and lots of tables downstairs. The downstairs is full of bottle service tables, which are full of young, beautiful people. If you don’t have a table, you can still dance between the tables. You can even go between the booth style tables, and dance on top of those as well! The staff there are super friendly, yet firm.
