Just Picked Fresh Produce

Thought was a good idea to support organic and local produce. Picked up my first box of produce tonight — very disappointing. Potatoes are sprouting. They may have been sitting in the owner’s refrigerator for a long time. No way to tell if they are organic or not. The one pineapple I got had a very big hole in it. It looked absolutely pathetic. Cherry tomatoes were in a small plastic box like what you would find in a regular supermarket. However, it was only ¹⁄₃ full. I almost feel someone just took a whole bunch of old vegetables and fruits from her refrigerator and sold them to me for $ 45.
Update — Owner Mia responded to my complaint. She compensated me with some green beans and grapefruit.
