Went there this week with high hopes, huge disappointment. Small portions of tasteless food. Rushed service with no consideration for dining customers. Awful experience.

I cannot say anything negative about Little Brazil on Collins Ave., Miami Beach. we had an excellent dinner there. Our waiter Marcello was extremely helpful, polite and professional. l ordered Camarao no Coco. Shrimp, sautéed with coconut milk mushrooms and herbs 19.95. I was able to substitute a very nice large salad instead of the beans and rice that comes with the order. It was absolutely delicious and with a great deal of exotic flavor. Maria ordered Carne Parmegiana, Steak topped with Mariana sauce and melted mozzarella cheese 19.95. She said it was delicious. The meal was served with very nice warm rolls and butter. The prices are fair for the area and the tip was not added to the bill. We added our own generous tip. We dined on a Monday night and the restaurant was almost empty. I do not think that you will be disappointed dining here.

We stumbled on this place while staying nearby during our last stay in North beach and we were excited to go back. It’s a small restaurant that delivers big meals with great flavor. Lots of seafood options. It can be a little loud and they cram the people in, but it was a good sign that there were lots of Portuguese speaking people dining there. The service was great both visits and we will definitely go back again next time we visit North Beach. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

I have never dined-in, but I ordered food for delivery. The food tasted great. Lots of flavor and freshness. They delivered in a timely manner and the prices are reasonable. Would totally recommend to anyone looking to eat South American food. I recommend the empanadas and the Flan. The only thing that I would not order again for delivery is the French fries, as they loose the crunchiness on their way. Overall Delicious!!!

I’ve been here many time and it is always SO good! Spectacular Brazilian food, and drinks. Service and management are on top of their game. My suggestion: Bacalhau and a glass of white wine. The best in town on my opinion.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our friends who live in the area! We both liked the food especially the coconut shrimp dish! The fish stew with white rice and yuca was also very authentic and very similar to what we had in Brazil ! My bf wanted to order caperinhas but they did not make them at a Brazilian restaurant!!! I thought that was very odd not to serve a Brazilian national drink at a Brazilian restaurant .The waiter suggested sangria and it was rather delicious — but it was not what we wanted ! The service was very friendly, but we had one guy take down our order, another guy recommending deserts and yet another guy giving us the check. The check had the tip included ! Never saw that before in Miami. The coconut desert was amazing !!! It was a good experience over all — — not terribly expensive — we would eat there again

I’ve been here twice, the first time I ordered Picanha and it was Delicious! The rice it came with was pretty good too. But I recommend not to order your meats well done. They can never get it right for some reason. It’ll always come burned. Honestly it’s a little over priced for their menu. Service is OK. If you’re looking for REAL Brazilian food Fogo de Chao is the place to go!

Service was great and food delicious and portions quite big. Slightly too salted to my taste but overall a good experience. I had the Bacalhau fesco and would recommend this!

So disappoint with this restaurant. Too many reviews but honestly the food is terrible, no flavor. We have to add a lot of salt to the dishes and still we didn’t enjoy the food. Is a little overprice & tip is already include.

Truly delicious meal and outstanding service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was there with my whole family of crazy Brazilians and we were delighted by the food and ambience. Particularly delicious items included: picanha, strogonoff de frango, pasteis, coxinhas e camarão com catupiry. I highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic, yummy Brazilian meal. Don’t forget to order a can of guarana as well!

OK food is great! But if you ask for your stake well done forget it, you have to send it back and this is our 4 th time here, always the same thing. Service is rushed. Were locals but they treat you like a tourist. Tip is included so. You know the deal…

QUEFREAKINGBOM. My boyfriend and I happened to walk by this place on our way from the beach and we were intrigued! He’s from Brazil and I know he misses the food there often, so we decided to go! And I’m so very glad we did. First, it was awesome for him to be able to speak in Portuguese, and it was good practice for me too! Also, there were only Brazilians in there, so you know the food is pretty authentic. It was also when they just opened so it wasn’t busy yet! First, they have Guarana!(A really popular soda in Brazil.) I got the stroganoff de frango(chicken stroganoff) and he got the picanha(type of Brazilian steak.) Mine was about $ 18BUT it was definitely enough for two people!!! His was about $ 20 but came with three pieces of steak! They had farofa, beans and rice, and it all really reminded me of the times I have spent with his family in Brazil. He was really happy himself. It’s served family style, and we still had plenty of food leftover. I wish we lived closer so we could come more often. If I get the chance to do so, I think I’ll be more than happy to give them the last star! We were really satisfied.

Huh. Either I look like a tourist and got stuck with the tourist prices(as per Michelle T.‘s review), or they no longer have lunch specials, but there was not a single option on the menu for $ 9.99, and that includes appetizers. Almost immediately, my friend and I regretted sitting down. You cannot blame us though, as Little Brazil looks informal from the outside, with its outdoor seating and shorts-clad patron, but once you go inside, it’s a somewhat formal white tablecloth establishment. We had no idea it’d end up costing us what we’d normally pay for a dinner, not a lunch. Once we opened the menu though, we knew what we’d gotten into. To make matters worse, they brought out soda in cans, meaning, no free refills and you could quickly end up spending $ 5 or more for just a couple of cans. Great. Just great. I wanted to share the feijoada with my friend, just so that we would not end up spending so much money and getting a ton of food, but the waitress did not think it’d be big enough to share, so while he got the feijoada, I got the churrasco with the hearts of palm. The service was a bit disorganized, as we went through 3 different waitresses within the time our order was placed and we paid, so as some others pointed out, service is slow. My food came out and the presentation looked quite nice. A churrasco wrapped like a snail, with cut-up hearts of palm emerging from the middle and within the gravy. There was also a thick white coat of cream or butter floating in the gravy, and some steamed vegetables. The meat was hit or miss. Portions of it were soft, while others felt like chewing gum, impossible to chew through, so I ended up just trying my best to swallow it without chewing it. I ordered it medium, so lack of cooking should not have been an issue. It did not have an unpleasant taste, but it did feel extremely greasy, which leads me to think that the white substance was a heavy dose of butter. As I kept eating, I felt this strange feeling of bloating. My friend liked his meal, but we did notice a lot of the meat in it was just chunks of rolled up pig skin without any real meat on them. As others have mentioned, the bill includes a hefty tip, so do be aware of that, especially if you’re one of those types of people who blindly signs without looking at the bill and adds an extra tip in error. I must agree with others that the food seems overpriced, especially for being within the Normandy area, and considering the fact that the quality was not stellar. A few minutes later, I discovered what that bloating feeling was: an excess of salt consumption. I could not even remove my otherwise loose ring from my finger, my fingers had swollen as if I were suddenly pregnant. My friend also admitted finding the meal rather salty and feeling extremely thirsty. I guess this comes in handy when charging per soda can. They probably make a killing from unsuspecting customers who succumb to the parchedness and order can after can of soft drinks. I am not sure if I will be back, the food was just too salty and pricey for my taste and although it had a nice flavor, it did not leave me in ecstasy, either…
