Great hidden steakhouse. Very cool décor inside and there are even a few tables outside where you can see the ocean. Great staff. I am a meat eater and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I don’t want to rave too much about this place because every time I am in Miami I am going to hit this place. It’s a little hidden gem along Millionaires Row

Came here with the girls for our ‘fancy’ dinner before going out for my bachelorette party! My maid of honor called ahead to reserve the best table for our group of 5 :) The staff was very attentive and friendly.
We had a round of champagne to start off the night! I ordered the filet mignon with mash potatoes. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and the mash potatoes were creamy and delicious!
I love the ambiance of the place as well. Very regal feel to the place. Great start to our night out ! Will def. Come back again someday !

Great salad and salmon w/​broccoli rabe! My daughter LOVED their chicken strips. It’s located in an outdated condominium which was different but it’s a nice looking restaurant once inside. We went on a few occasions and started to notice the food wasn’t consistent. Overall, would return.

This restaurant is «a tale of two cities.» The service was horrendous, i.e. waited 30 to get menus, zero water refills and ordered sauces that never came. The food was awesome; specifically the pork chop, ribeye, skirt steak, provoleta and sweet potato flies. Worth going for the food as long as you’re aware of the weak service.

We just loved our dinner and overall experience at Lola. Just like 90% of the restaurants in the area, it’s located inside a hotel. We sat outside on a terrace with the lovely sea view. Our server — Philip (if i remember the spelling correctly) was such a professional — knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. I absolutely recommend the mussels in white wine — the best i’ve had so far, we just couldn’t stop dipping our bread in the sauce once we were done with the mussels. The steak was great, complemented with spinach dip on side. Would recommend this place for a romantic dinner or a friends’ hangout.

Trendy restaurant in mid beach. Convenient spot for good gourmet cuisine without the congestion of south beach. Food was delicious, we had the ceviche appetizer, churrazco, and filet. Steak Cooked to perfect temperature as requested. Décor is chic and modern. Owner/​manager greeted us and was attentive to seat us. The only con was the long wait to have a sever approach us after seating. Waitress was a bit upset that we asked who are server was almost 20 min after seating. She was somewhat cold throughout the meal because of this but made up for it with comped wine. I would go back.

Recently moved here from NYC and usually order from or eat at this place once a month. It is very convenient for those visiting or living in the mid beach area of Miami Beach. I think by this point I’ve tried almost every dish on the menu and haven’t had a bad meal yet. If you are going there with friends to eat try their Argentinian sangria with fruit and white wine. The atmosphere is inviting and tastefully done with tables both inside and out. The weekends can get very crowded so plan ahead.
All the steaks are good and they have a large selection. My go-​to steak is the Filet Mignon with the mushroom wine sauce very good. Also the pork chops which are ample size and delicious. The sweet potato fries or mashed potatoes are great sides and for starters the beet salad, blue cheese croquettes or shrimp appetizer are all tasty.
Only negative is on the weekends if you want to order in they are sometimes too busy to take your order or deliver. I suppose being busy is a good problem for a successful restaurant to have. Definitely worth checking out.

A quaint and nice little spot to enjoy a meal and some local flavor. Menu had good options to pick from. Prices were reasonable. They also deliver to anyone living in the condo, which is a plus. The rating should really be a 4, because the outside seating area should accommodate more larger parties, but that’s not major. I’ll definitely be be back

Husband and I decided to hit Lola’s for dinner and boy, were we happy we did. The restaurant is located on the second floor of a hotel and I apologize as I can’t recall the hotel. The server was friendly and the restaurant is absolutely lovely in appearance. Romantic setting with red and dark brown hues abound the restaurant alongside gorgeous lighting and windows. There is outdoor seating if you’re so inclined. This place really is a place to bring a date. Totally gorgeous. Ok, enough of aesthetics!
Food: 1. Ceviche mixto was unbelievable. Deliciously marinated with red onion, lime, cilantro. Hot damn it was delicious. Plus a lot of ceviche for the price. I was so pleased.
2. Skirt steak with creamed spinach on side. Skirt steak was grilled perfectly with a buttery finish for skirt steak. The creamed spinach was baked and deliciously cheesy. I loved it.
3. Dessert was a crème brûlée dish. Perfect caramelized top that cracked at the hit of my spoon, only to discover a sweet custardy light lemon essence with a cinnamon finish. Delicious.
Price points were reasonable for good quality food.
Yum. If you are in the Miami Beach area, head out on Collins to try this Argentinian gem.

I went to this restaurant while on a business trip to Miami. It is a nice intimate restaurant and I had high expectations after reading the other reviews.
I ordered an appetizer, spinach ravioli and a glass of cabernet wine. When I received my ravioli I asked the waiter about it and he told me that they don’t actually make it on premise but that they buy it from a local Italian supplier. Really… how lazy of the chef to not make their own ravioli in an «Italian» restaurant.
I decided to pass on the dessert since it too was probably not made in house!
My dinner was $ 50 including a $ 7 mandatory 18% gratuity. I tried to overwrite the gratuity on my credit card receipt but they billed me anyway. Not very ethical of the restaurant. Meh! If you want a real Italian restaurant, this is not the place.

First and best dining experience in Miami so far. Small and private restaurant on the beach. Experienced waiter is a must for such a wonderful experience. Try the mussel, skirt steak and the chicken is made with perfection. Small menu so things we order were very fresh. We will go back for sure.

My friend had a birthday and we made reservations at Lola restaurant. I saw great reviews and photos, so decided Lola it is. When we arrived they were busy and didn’t have table available for 4 people. We waited 5 minutes and they gave us best table in the restaurant, right in the middle, under the beautiful chandelier. Waitress was very sweet with beautiful Spanish accent. We ordered couple appetizers. Salmon Tartar, Ceviche and Parmesan cheese baked. Was incredible. For entrée all of us had pasta. Three of us stick to classic shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and one got seafood pasta with red sauce. Was amazing. I told waitress that my friend had a birthday and she brought her a little cake with candle and champagne. It was very sweet. Only reason I didn’t put 5 stars is that we had to wait in the end for checks for over 30 mins.
P. S. Menu says «for your convince we adding 18% gratuity»… everything was great so we left extra. Next time we r in the area, definitely will be visiting Lola restaurant.

This small restaurant is located in a hotel on the second floor and has valet parking for $ 4 when validated so don’t forget to have your ticket stamped!
Service was horrible. I’m going to try to keep it short;
* Reservation Saturday 8pm and still waited 15 min to be seated.
* Additional 45 min to order and get our food.
* We already bought movie tickets for 10pm so we devoured our food in 30 min.
* Basically no service besides 1 time refilling of our water and our glasses were empty majority of the time.
* We had to wave our waiter several times to try to get his attention so we can get our checks and leave.
* This took and additional 30 min. It would have taken longer if we didn’t decide to go to the front to pay our bill and it was already 10pm by then.
Foodwise, I got the skirt steak and wasn’t impressed. My husband got the rib eye and I thought it was good. We also shared the chimichurri trio dipping sauces, which we paid an additional $ 4. I never heard of a restaurant charging extra money for sauces. Ridiculous, but two of the three sauces were good. The vegetable of the day was potatoes and garlic, which were like tater tots. My husband got sweet potato fries and it was ok.
In conclusion, skip the skirt steak and get the rib eye instead with the chimichurri. Don’t expect great service on a Saturday night and make sure you make plans that are flexible.

Fuimos a comer con unas amistades donde queriamos probar los excelentes steaks que sirven en este conocido restaurant. La comida fue excelente, pero el servicio por parte del muchacho que nos atendio fue simplemente deplorable, no se podia entender si conocia el menue o si estaba realmente perdido por alguna razon ajena al trabajo, le temblaban las manos y ademas su aspecto era x demas desagrable. Es una pena que para tan buena comida tengan al mismo tiempo tan terrible servicio!!!’

I was looking for a hearty meal after getting off the plane, and LOLA was just a few steps away from the place my boyfriend and I were staying at. LOLA is near impossible to spot from the street as it is located inside of a hotel/​condo building. As soon as you enter the lobby, head towards the stairs; LOLA is located on the second floor. We were seated promptly near the window — the view outside is quite nice and overlooks the pool/​patio area of the building. My boyfriend and I both got the skirt steak (8 oz. and 12 oz). The skirt steak also comes with your choice of one side and he opted for the creamed spinach while I got the rice/​beans. The food was decently good — the skirt steak was tender, but quite overcooked (we asked for medium).
A little note about the ambiance (if you care about that sort of thing) — the restaurant is reminiscent of Miami’s night life. Music pumping from the speakers, loud colors and prints. You get the gist. It’s a little off-​putting during the day time, but if you’re just trying to get some food in your belly, none of this matters. All in all, LOLA is an A-​OK restaurant to try if you’re on the 5000 block of Collins Ave. trying to find something to eat.

LOLA was conveniently located to where my gf and I stayed in Miami. If you stay around the 5400 block of Collins Ave this is the highest ranked restaurant in the area on Unilocal.My girlfriend and I visited LOLA on a Wednesday afternoon after getting off the airplane. We were the only people in the restaurant dining. The ambiance is pretty nice, very modern but I got the feeling that it was overkill especially for the place it was in. The ambiance might be more appropriate for dinner at night I guess.
Since both my gf and I were starving after our plane ride we both opted for the Skirt steak (medium temp). I chose the creamy spinach gratin and she went with the rice and beans. The food took ~15 minutes to come out. My steak was definitely overcooked– it was more of a medium well but since I was starving I didn’t bother returning it back to the kitchen. The sides were good but nothing spectacular. The service was also sub-​par, the waitress was more interested in talking with this random guy that kept on walking into the restaurant to drink water. I think he worked in the building. This area of Collins Ave is lacking for restaurants so if you do not want to take a trip down to the South Beach area this restaurant is one of your limited choices.

Ein wirklicher Geheimtipp, den man so nie finden würde. Hier wird in familiärer Atmosphäre in erstklassiger Qualität italienisch-​amerikanisch gekocht. Da serviert auch mal zwischendurch der 12-​jährige Sohnemann. Wir hatten Ravioli und ein 1a Flank Steak, das seines gleichen sucht. Die dazu gelieferte Sauce war wirklich selbstgemacht. Ein Lokal, das mich in jedem Fall wieder sehen wird!

I found LOLA Restaurant & Grill while searching for romantic restaurants on Unilocal.This place is the definition of a hidden gem. Their location is right smack in the nice parts of Miami with all the big, expensive hotels. It’s located on the second floor of Oceanview Plaza, a huge condominium building. At first I thought it would be a huge hassle dealing with parking, but the valet was only three dollars (with a validation from the restaurant).
I love the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant. It’s the perfect place for date night. They have modern and classy interior, dim lighting, a candle & flower on each table, and romantic music playing. They also had a monitor playing a cozy fireplace, which I thought was cute.
We started the evening with a glass of Rose and Riesling. We ordered the mussel appetizer in a white wine sauce that was so yummy, we ordered more bread to dip in the sauce. I tried the skirt steak and ribeye with chimichurri sauce– they were both mouth-​watering, but the ribeye was my favorite. It was so juicy, tender, and the fatty parts packed all the flavor.
I also ordered the creamy spinach gratin as my side but it was meh– nothing special. Since I can’t get enough of flan & crème brulees, it’s no surprise that I enjoyed their natilla catalana. The best thing about this place is that it’s not crazy expensive for an Argentinean restaurant.

Belle surprise sur Miami Beach alors que les prix pratiqués sont généralement plutôt exubérants !
N’hésitez pas à entrer dans l’hôtel chic et classe pour trouver au 1er étage cette petite perle !

Das Filet Mignon war von einer derart guten Qualität wie ich es lange nicht mehr hatte. Und der Preis von 25 Dollar auf jeden Fall angemessen.
Das Ambiente war sehr edel und schick.
Die Größe des Restaurants eher überschaubar aber nicht voll besetzt wodurch es irgendwie heimelig wirkte und wir sofort einen Tisch bekamen.
Das Personal war wie zu erwarten sehr freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich.
Man legt Wert auf Understatement. So mag ich das.
Wer also mal in der Gegend ist und Lust auf lecker Essen in toller Umgebung hat der sollte hier vorbei schauen.

Great discovery!
This place is kind of hidden but it is sooo worth trying!
The décor is cool and has great lighting, it makes it romantic and yet modern and chic, great music, ambiance and service!
We came here looking to eat a good steak without winding up at the typical chain steakhouse and BINGO! We had one of THE BEST STEAKS we’ve had in Miami ever!
We had the NY and they had it cooked to perfection for each one of us plus our table also had the special fish which was a buttery like texture perfect tasty Branzino YUM!
We also had the blue cheese croquettes for appetizer and they were beautifully fried to perfection, tasty and not too strong.
For dessert, tiramisu, Crema Catalana and the brownie. All nice and a good end to our dinner.
Overall a great experience, for sure recommending this place to all our friends and want to make sure to give a hymns up to our great waitress who apart from knowing very well her wines was a perfect compliment to our experience. Also the host was great by setting the air a bit lower for our comfort! Bravo!

Bastante importante resulta esforzarse en tener una maravillosa actitud para con los clientes, y de ese modo obtener excelentes resultados, desafortunadamente la gesticulación que realiza con su rostro solo enseña el desagrado que le genera realizar su trabajo, con tintes discriminatorio con algunos clientes, resultaría más positivo colocar un rostro fresco, agradable pero ante todo amable.
