The food is so disappointing. $ 16 for five pieces of shrimp and French fries. The was plain even though it was drenched in sauce but it only made the food wet. The margaritas were watered down as well.

The best mexican restorant at the beach. The Chimi-changas are the best with steak even better

Had lunch here today at a sunny outdoor table. Server was super nice and attentive. I got a veggie sopa(veggies cheese etc on top of lightly fried corn cake, or at least that’s what it seemed) and my friend got a burrito. We both felt that we were the perfect amount full after lunch– full but not weighed down like Mexican food can do. I was more than anything impressed by the service. So many places you spend more money and get treated crappy. This guy his tip was included but he was always refilling water and asking if we were ok. Highly recommend for a yummy lunch!

Love the food and hospitality. The grilled shrimp paired with the sangria was the best. Try all the salsas, green was my favorite.

They are more 3.5 stars, but I’m going to be nice and round up. What I didn’t like was that they charge $ 5 for chips and salsa, and you pick one salsa, red or green. Virtually all Mexican restaurants don’t charge for them, so they lose a star for this. For $ 6 you can get a ½ order of guacamole with both salsas. Go figure. The red salsa was one of the worst red salsas I’ve ever had, but the green was one of the best green salsas I’ve ever had. The guacamole was good and the chips were seasoned with both salt and pepper, which was unique. For Mexican food their prices are about 20% too high, so I deducted half a star for that. They have a fairly diverse menu. My daughter got skirt steak tacos and my wife got one fish taco and one skirt steak taco. The meats were well seasoned and tender. I ordered the carnitas chimichanga, which is topped with a cheese sauce, guacamole, sour cream and pico de gallo. Our server was nice, friendly and mostly attentive. Gratuity was automatically included and was around 18%.

The best TORTAS i´ve had in a while. Service is great, food is amazing, price is fair game… The only thing is that their spiciest chile, doesn´t compare to Mexico

I ordered chips with guacamole & nacho cheese, a burrito lunch combo, & passion fruit tea. The chips were stale but the guacamole was delicious. It had the right amount of lime & salt. The nacho cheese was nothing special. The burrito lunch combo came with chicken noodle soup, fries, & a drink. Your choice of meat is chicken or beef. Unfortunately you cannot ask for both. I got the beef. I’m not a soup person but the broth was good. Strong flavor. The menu says the burrito is medium size but I think it was small. Nothing special inside the burrito. Just ground beef, lettuce, & diced tomato. The menu said it comes with sour cream but I had tartar sauce? Dunno if it was a mistake but still good. Instead of bottled hot sauce, they have hot peppers & it was awesome! Very spicy & I have a high tolerance for spicy. The fries were just like school lunch fries. Nothing spectacular. The passion fruit tea was very good. I couldn’t stop drinking it.

Okay location with good service but didn’t like the food. Got myself a combo that comes with tons of food items including a burrito, quesadilla, a chicken taco and rice that was just too much for just myself to handle. Burrito wasn’t that enjoyable and there was barely any beef in it. Taco was pretty good blended good with the rice and the quesadilla was alright didn’t get to finish them up as I got full definitely made me wish I had eaten the quesadillas first and not the burrito.

Complimentary chips with jalapeño sauce is really good. They are right on the street, parking might get tricky. Chicken Sincro comes close to Quesadilla yet so different.

Horrible. Expensive. Ordered quesadillas .they served me 3 regular size tortilla tacos folded with the fillings. The dough was breaking up. Not consistent texture. Had the sincronizada that was ok.

Not the best Mexican food on Collins. I’ve definitely had better and will most likely not be returning here. If they made their menu a tad more authentic, it would be a lot better.

The worst! $ 114 for 2 tortas, 2 tacos and a flimsy shrimp dinner! Suxed! 4 shrimp for almost $ 20…uuumm no! It wasn’t memorable either! Don’t do it! One taco for $ 9…give me a break! Buyer beware! It’s overpriced and the food isn’t as good as it was a year ago! Don’t go here, head to Sazon down the street! Oh yea, the Sangria was nasty, no liquor at all! We got robbed! The gaucomole was two tablespoon full for $ 3! This place is ridiculous! Service terrible too! Never again!

The name kind if makes you feel like it’s going to be a rinky dink taco kitchen but I was pleasantly surprised to find a quaint like restaurant. There’s a cute little cactus garden near the front door. Food is presented nicely and served on modern dishes. The food was great. Only draw back was not having Margaritas with our meal since they only serve beer and wine. But, the sangria was excellent and 2 for 1 on happy hour.

The super nachos come plain and they give you the dipping sauces separately, which sucks, my shrimp quesadilla was pretty satisfying though! Fast delivery and they brought it up the elevator to my hotel room door which is great! I also ordered on Seamless which doesn’t have a huge market in Miami.

Awesome place! I wish I could give it 4.5 stars! I was really impressed with their lunches. Big portions for about $ 7 each, with rice and beans? I am game. I recommend coming here for lunch, if you are going to come for dinner and pay dinner prices, you might as well go someplace more upscale. I loved their loaded chicken sandwich. The chicken was practically falling out of the sides, and my friend was also very pleased with his portion size. In addition, the food was tasty and well-seasoned. We were both full and didn’t pay more than $ 20, including tip, between the 2 of us, also including sodas with unlimited refills. If I am looking for a no-frills Mexican place to hit on a lazy beach day, this will definitely be the spot. Yes, ideally, I’d like something closer to home in South Beach but since I am not impressed with Huahua’s and want something better than a chain restaurant like Lime, while being cheaper than Rosa Mexicano, then this will be my afternoon lunch spot when craving Mexican. Plus you can’t beat the parking, a huge lot on 72nd and Collins is within walking distance and is never full. You can always hit the North Shore beach to take in the sun and let your belly digest after your hefty meal.
