Had my hair and makeup done by Christina a couple weeks ago. Great with the makeup, not so great w the hair. I guess you can’t win em all…

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Amy. I felt so blessed to have her on literally one of the most important days of my life. She did my makeup for my destination wedding on February 2013 in Miami. I had Done my research and I send the company an email to inquire on prices, and availability. She called me maybe the next day to see what I wanted and needed and right off the bat her charm had already won me over. I am from LA, so literally i had no idea what to expect. I have a four year old and she also did her hair for me. My daughter had a meltdown, and she not only helped me put on her dress, she helped me and held my stuff to the lobby. Talk about going out of your way! The makeup lasted all night, and my hair looked beautiful. My husband loved the way I looked. I had never felt so pretty. My daughters hair looked so cute too. I’m definitely booking her for a night out in Miami next time I’m in town. Loved her! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. It’s hard to find a makeup artist like her, she’s a gem! She’s worth the splurge, you’ll feel so beautiful!

Holy cow, I cannot believe I haven’t reviewed AMY and her MAKEUP GENIUS until now, my apologies!!! I got married on Miami’s coastline a little over a year ago in February 2011 and used Amy and her team for both hair & makeup on location at our hotel for my 3 bridesmaids and my mother & I. SHE IS UNBELIEVABLY TALENTED AND GUARANTEED TO MAKE YOU LOOK YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I have never seen me, my mom & my 3 best friends look as incredible as we all did at my wedding, thank goodness! How lucky I felt to have found her and I cherish my photos knowing that we all looked so stunning, truly. I have nothing bad to say about her at all. They arrived on time, were entirely professional, dealt with my sometimes hard to deal with mom (lol), took their time with all of us and everyone was so so happy and grateful at the end of the day! She rocks and to top it all off, is actually a really nice, sweet girl who couldn’t be any easier to deal with at the height of your wedding day stress. She’s soothing and calming and I LOVE HER!!! She did the eyelash extensions on us and the hair extensions as well on me. Everything was flawless, hands down. With a zillion wedding vendors in every direction, it’s hard to find gifted, trustworthy, knowledgable, honorable and downright GOOD-​AT-​WHAT-​THEY-​DO people in this world so THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU again and always, Amy. We all love you!!!

Amy is a true professional. She did hair/​make up for both my sister and I at the location of my wedding. She made both of us look amazing and was a joy to be with on my special day. She was sweet, kind and flexible. I am glad I was recommended by someone about Amy and I would recommend any bride to use her and her artists.

Absolutely beautiful makeup! My bridesmaids and I were so happy with the job Amy did with us for my wedding. I felt and looked great thanks to her expert hands. My mother-​in-​law, who never wears makeup, also looked beautiful. And yes, she does require payment up front, but her rates are very competitive with what’s out there. I definitely would hire Amy again.

Amy was fabulous! I usually don’t like the way other makeup artists work with my eyes, but she knew exactly what to do. She even convinced my mother to finally change her cheap makeup that she had been using for 30 years. THANK YOU! She was on time, flexible, and even helped save me with a last minute wedding dress mishap. Super friendly and super sweet!

I wanted to thank you for doing such a wonderful job on my makeup for my wedding day on April 21, 2007. The color palette you used for me was just right. With my freckles, light skin tone and bright red hair, I am well aware how difficult it is to find the right makeup for me that does not make me look too white, too yellow, or too dark for my complexion. The way you were able to integrate your coloring to my natural color and enhance it, made my makeup look very natural and absolutely beautiful. In my pictures, I felt like I looked like me but more beautiful. You can’t see the natural flaws nor did I look shiny, oily or greasy from the makeup in my pictures. Most importantly I did not feel as if the makeup was «caked» on or over done, and I didn’t feel like this isn’t me.
You certainly made my day so much easier. You were great to get along, very friendly and I felt very comfortable with you. It was great that you were able to come to where I was getting ready and fix me up, and I can’t thank you enough. It was comforting not having to worry about doing my own makeup and ruining it because I was nervous, or rushing and let’s face it, I’m not a professional. Most importantly, Paul, my husband, said I looked just like me, and that of course meant so much to me because he could still see me. I can’t thank you enough. You did such a wonderful job.

Amy saved my life! The makeup artist I contracted for my wedding canceled at the last minute and Amy took over (tip: don’t hire anybody working at the mac counters, apparently they get booked last minute for in-​store events and don’t honor prior commitments, heard of two other cases where the same happened).
She was very professional and did a good job with my make up but it was kind of annoying the way she handles the money issue… everything gets charged in advance and it can get kind of stressful cause she can be a little pushy with the issue. However I was really happy with the end result… she struggled a little bit with the lash extensions, but everything ended up great.
