South Florida Trikke

I rented roller blades on Memorial Day weekend. They were close to the beach (there’s a nice long brick pathway to blade on). The guy at the desk was friendly and even helped me put on and take off my roller blades. Upon request, he gave me knee, elbow, wrist guards, and helmet to use at no extra charge. I saw him spray down and clean the protective gear after I used them to get them clean for the next customer. All in all, great time rollerblading, would use them again.

We came to look for something that my girlfriend can ride easily since she cannot ride a bike for her life. We were deciding between the tandem bike and the segways; they were kind to let us try out the tandem bikes first. In the end we went with the segways because my girlfriend couldn’t ride the tandem bikes either. They explained to us that segways require a tour guide according to law, and after tax it was about $ 50 per person for an hour, which was a decent price. Our tour guide, TC, first taught us how to ride the segways on the side of the road. He was patient and encouraging, and it was easy to pick up. He let us know which tourist spots we will be visiting beforehand; I was a little concerned with riding on main roads, but he kept checking that we were okay and safe which was comforting. My favorite part was visiting the star island to see the vacation houses of the celebrities. Overall TC was very nice and helpful, he even recommended some bars and places we can visit during our stay; you can tell that he really loves this city! It was a great experience and it was well worth the money.

Very tiny location but close to the beach. My friends and I wanted to do paddle boarding and jet skiing but with the $ 10 groupons for boarding and their $ 60 charge, we just stuck with the jet skiing. Downfall: they are just agents! So go DIRECTLY to the source which is a mile down the road. You pay the $ 40 booking charge here and then find your own way down to the jet skiing place. It’s right next to Beer and Burger Restaurant. Called Doctor Jet Ski Rentals.

These little things can go really fast so that’s were you must be very careful
Aside from the speed it was great taking our trikke on a roll stroll down south beaches Boardwalk, loved every moment on it :)

We rented bicycles (not motor ones ;)) for hole day and drived 45 km from south beach to north beach and back. Whoa, nice views and weather was +28 c and sunny.
You wanna do this, rent bikes and go to have fun! :)

The employees that work here were so nice and very help… Tough us how to use it and even let us pay to extend the ride… We road all over Miami and even went threw a mcD’s drive threw.
The battery’s don’t really last that long so you have to go back to the shop after two hours to charge…

Miguel and and the crew are very nice and they are offering a lot of interesting activities.
From the trikke to the kangoojump, Paddleboarding or rollerblading… It’s 100% fun guarantee !!!
Don’t forget to ask them about tours as well. They have great prices and accommodate with free bicycles to go to location as to go Paddleboarding with Kustom Water Sports for example…

The service there is perfect. They help you get what you want to rent. The trikkes are really fun to ride around ocean dr. and Collins ave, it’s really nice to cruise around in the trikkes to get to see around. They get 5 stars. :D

Great service and the trikkes were SO MUCH FUN! It was a little cloudy to go to the beach so this was such a great option, at a reasonable price. In terms of riding the trikke, it takes a few min to get used to it, but after that it’s totally comfortable cruising along the boardwalk and streets. The guy who taught us how to use them kept the instruction simple and answered our questions. Would definitely go here again!

Nice place, very close to the side walk. Awesome guys! Get your gear there and have some real fun :) PS: I was a little worried about $ 200 hold on my card — for two Segways — but NO PROBLEM, it just went away in a few days.

AMAZING SERVICE !!! Great owner, you can get to know him by name: Miguel. GREAT PRICES !!! and offers almost everything you can be looking for to have a good time in South Beach. Very informative and always willing to help staff. Came first for a trike ride, and had so much fun we came back to go parasailing.

A gloomy day, too cold for the beach, turned out to be such a fun day! It’s funny how things work out sometimes. We were just walking around SOBE, hoping that the weather would improve. Really, we were moping, complaining, and grumpy! On our search for a coffee shop, we stumbled on this place first. The Segways grabbed my attention immediately. I had been on a tour before, and enjoyed it. Here, however, you rent it and go! No tour. No waiting for people to keep up. And best of all, no follow-​the-​leader! Just rent it, get a quick and pleasant training session, and go. Go wherever you want! And we went everywhere! We found out that the boardwalk runs from 5 – 25 streets. The owner suggested that was a great place to ride, and he was right. We also went up Lincoln Road (at least the section that is open to cars. I’m not sure if Segways are allowed on the pedestrian mall side) and Washington Ave. And of course, we stopped for that coffee ;)
This is a small shop. It’s professionally run, and they took care to give us equipment that was clean, and batteries that were fully charged. No hidden fees, no scamming, just friendly service. We rented 3 Segways. They have dozens of those motorized 3-​wheel trikes that you stand and ride. I will definitely return to try one. They also have those kangaroo things that you run on… one day… maybe…if I’m feeling brave.
My advice for anything SOBE: if you can get here during the week, SOOOO much better! Avoiding the crowds is priceless.

Riding a scooter down Ocean Drive is the quintessential Miami Beach move. Being true New Yorkers, we opted for trike rentals instead (no drivers license required! haha). A couple of blocks from our place was South Florida Trikkes, so we rented trikes for $ 30/​hour. One of my girlfriends took a pretty bad spill off on one about 45 minutes into our ride, and the owner was sweet enough to come meet us by the piers and ride back to mid-​Beach with us. Another one of the associates even came and met us, and the owner gave us an extra hour free, with which my girlfriend and I (pictured here) went for a ride to the other side of South Beach. South Beach Trikke is an amazing company and I definitely recommend you use them if you want to rent anything motor-​operated (they offer regular bikes, jetskis, trikes, and boats for rental as well).

This was my my friend and I first time in South Beach and I came across this place. I was about to rent a bike from the rentals on the street and they are $ 6 just for 1 hour and $ 4 for 30 mins. The owner was very friendly and helpful. When we returned the bikes, he wasn’t there. He was out teaching someone how to ride a segway. He left a sign with a number to contact him. I called and he offered a discount to keep the bike longer since he was away helping a customer. I didnt need any extra time and let him know i need any and he came within 3 mins. Excellent!!!

I loved riding Trikkes. The reason I got to ride Trikkes was because my family and I were just walking down South Beach and we saw a man with a Trikke who turned out to be Ray who worked for the company and told us all the information we needed to know about Trikkes like where you could get them and everything. He even let my mom ride a Trikke in a circle it was amazing how they went and stopped. By then we were convinced so we walked to 13^th street where Miguel the staff there was very nice. He taught us how to ride Trikkes and was very specific. Then he showed us how there were 2 handlebars one for the adult and one for a kid or you could also just do one adult. When we got back from our riding Miguel showed us pictures of his son and he let us try a SegWay and he showed us how there was another version of a Trikke that came in all different sizes and that were not motorized. He let us try those too. Then he told us about how there was a ski version of the Trikke and he showed us a video of that.
